Westfield Fountain Gate is a great shopping centre full of all sorts of shops, there is a huge range of different brand names we all know and others you may not of heard of yet, there is also so much surrounding Westfield Fountain Gate, so if it's not inside, it's more than likely outside!I highly recommend checking out Westfield Fountain Gate!

Fountain Gate is a fabulous place with virtually everything you'd need covered in a single trip, and its a great place to hang around with your mates. I adore the food courts and the clothing shops with staff that go above and beyond to give you a memorable shopping experience. The only downside to the shopping complex, if I'm being extremely critical, would be the troublesome experience that one goes through in a bid to find a parking spot; which is especially true on the weekends. Overall, Fountain Gate is an amazing mall with a great atmosphere and all the elements required to satisfy any shopper.

Don't even think about going here if you have a vehicle larger than a sedan. Edit: - no I don't think I'll be calling you up. Vehicle access will not accommodate a 6m long vehicle. I got stuck, I won't be attempting again. Nor do I appreciate the size of the car parks when attempting to fit a normal sized vehicle in - they appear to be smaller than standard. much easier to shop outside the city.

Parking is always a nightmare. Then you can walk for a long time before you realise the signage isn't very clear for newer shoppers. It's always crowded and noisy, with a lot of pushing and bumping in the crowd. Not my idea of an enjoyable experience

The year 2000 called.... Compared to other shopping centres Fountain Gate is greatly in need of expansion and renovation for the amount of visitors (surrounding area & population growth) to the centre it really needs a lot more parking and choice of shops. Some higher end stores are greatly needed. FOOD. The food court cafes and restaurants serve good quality food but compared to other newer/updated centres like The Glen it really does need updating with better seating areas and those automatic rubbish bins that you don't have to touch to use would be a great investment too. RESTROOMS/TOILETS. The toilets, well at least the females are usually clean although they do need to install more units to the females restrooms as there is usually a line to use them. PARKING. Best point is that the parking is for now still free but they do need to increase the amount of parking and just like other centres there are no dedicated parking bays for motorcycles. A good place to dash in early to get what you need and leave before it gets too busy.

I would get lost any day in this shopping mall, truly I do not know what to say about this place. Almost like an airport and probably even better! Has a lot of stores and there is an information pad, it shows where a store is. Honestly, they should add more of those because I feel like, especially me, who has been constantly going to this shopping mall for 2 years but sometimes I still cannot find my way out.

Awesome spot to shop. Wide range of shops... very convenient place to go. Family friendly... Good parking... Plenty of toilets and baby change rooms and very fancy also. When you get tired of shopping your cheeks off you can go rest them by sitting down and enjoying a meal at many of the great restaurants.

You will find almost everything and every brand here. It's a convenient drive on M1 and has ample parking. They have kept hand sanitisers and masks at information kiosk. Good food courts to enjoy all sorts of food. There is apple store as well for the iPhone and Mac lovers.

Absolutely DON'T EAT AT a Chinese cafe called dumplings plus. That bold and middle aged waiter is extremely rude. Said he is busy with a long face when we asked him for some seasonings. Rubbish food. Terrible service. Tiny space. DON'T GO THERE.

This is the worst Westfield shopping centre. The carparks are so poorly designed that it can take more than 15 minutes to leave. It's just a single level, sprawling nightmare. The only saving grace is that it keeps the population of Narre Warren in Narre Warren so the rest of Melbourne doesn't have to deal with them.

Like going there,it's big and was very busy today even though it was only a Tuesday. Lots to see and lots of retail outlets, spacious hallways, clean, the only concern is perhaps not enough undercover parking but at least it is free, it's also very close to home makers centre on the next block over . Fountain gate also has lots of restaurants and food outlets, also a great cinema complex.

the best westfield in melbourne imho, it has a certain ‘je ne sais quoi’. maybe it’s the fountain; maybe it’s the sleeping babe on the side of the building; or maybe it’s the wild parrots calling the grounds home, or all of the above and more. it’s got such an abundance of clothing shops, my favourite fruit store, movies, bathrooms, food court, coffee selection, restaurants, multiple carparks, etc 😌

Another shopping mall. If that's what you enjoy it's satisfactory. The west end near Woolworths is a desert landscape, the east end tries to.look high end. Food court entrance on the north side is a drug market. On the south side, near the cinemas is a restaurant area of not very creative restaurants. If McD opened a shopping mall, this would be the model

Kmart 24 hours is a joke. They open 24 hours but the Entry to Shopping centre opens at 8am what a joke. Couldn't find an alternative entry to kmart at 4 am. So the alternative entry is all the way on other side with no signage anywhere. Just search ANZ ATM and you will have to go complete 180° opposite.

Lovely of people to block the disabled parking spots when the bays were right next to the spots. Same thing happened on the bays on the other side on top of big W parking. Also, why only 4 disabled spots on that whole top level above Big W/Aldi. Not good enough.

It's a good place to hang around and do some shopping. Please don't go there after 6; it's completely dead and you may have to go around the whole lot to get your parking space. Good crowd though.

this shopping centre is quite good however I have a problem with the arcade games placed around the centre. They are a good fun way to spend some side cash however they have recently become rigged, especially the one near Priceline. I record spending 50 dollars there and having multiple goes and not winning anything. However I picked up the toy each time and it dropped in the exact same spot each time. Just a complete scam and rigged. Fix your system because this is unacceptable.

Great shopping centre in Melbourne, once you know the area it’s very easy to get around here. A wide range of shops that have good products at good prices. Parking is terrible though. Fun to be here for an hour or two then it’s time to leave cause it quickly becomes boring.

  • 5/5 Kat W. 1 year ago on Google
Look, it's a shopping centre (which I generally don't like), but to be fair it does have a very good range of all the usual shops. Much easier to find parking than somewhere like chadstone shopping centre, good amenities and shops for those in the far East looking for a large shopping centre. Great fruit and veg market, has all the big shops you would expect, and there's also an external section with outdoor, car, food options as well - almost like a combination of indoor and outdoor shopping centre.

  • 4/5 AJA F. 1 year ago on Google
Good place to shop. Fountain Gate shopping centre is a shopping hub for the south East. Wide range of retailers and good vibe. There entry of park around the centre and lots of activities. Truly caters to a multi cultural demographic. Don't bother with Chadstone. :) 😀

  • 4/5 Tony R. 2 years ago on Google
One of the better shopping centres in the outer south east. All the main anchor stores are here such as Myer, K Mart, Big W, Apple etc. there are also plenty of fashion and other stores. The food court is a bit ordinary. Plenty of undercover parking and the layout is easy to navigate.

  • 4/5 Sampurna B. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing place to shop. Caters to a big area, so popular shops like Target runs out of kids sizes very fast. Good restaurants and cafeteria has many options

  • 3/5 Katelyn 1 year ago on Google
The mall staff could be much nicer. When I worked in the mall they made me feel like a criminal if it was past 8 and I just wanted to get to my car... They also close the mall of very early, considering Coles is open late, I don't appreciate being locked away from my car when I work in the mall just because I work on the other side and wanted to go to Coles before going home.

  • 5/5 Hailz993 2 years ago on Google
Was crowded but considering how much it has to offer with all the stores, was still worth visiting as always. Found what I was looking for at Big W and even a surprise item from Collette, a pair of adorable earrings that are also 100% recycled material, which I absolutely love. Gloria Jeans also have some amazing toasted sandwiches which were a great choice for lunch.

My go-to shopping center for everything for the past several years. What prompted me to write a review was the first time experience hiring a wheelchair for my mum yesterday. It was a smooth process and the chair was very handy. And to my surprise it was free of cost. It makes all the difference. Thankyou!

  • 3/5 Luciano 1 year ago on Google
The centre does ok for balancing affordability with higher end shopping. The lay-out isnt great but they have had to work with add on wings and a weird sprawl to begin with. Saw one security person patrolling in my few hours there and the place was clean for a mid week visit. The food court could be helped with a little more variety of cuisines.

  • 3/5 spookysculpter 1 year ago on Google
Food court used to have a coeliac safe option with the Spud Bar but now it has nothing leaving people who cannot eat gluten with no safe options. Has no neurodivergent safe spaces very loud and bright with not enough places to sit or get a moment of refuge.

Dinner at the Sports Bar, the meals were average, 2 steaks were somewhat tough, food was longer to come to us than what is expected. I ordered garlic butter with mine, did not receive any, they ran out. Pricing was on the high side when you take into consideration the quality.

It’s a good shopping centre with many floors and has an amazing layout with all the food related items in one area and everything is sectioned out well with the tech stuff in one place and clothing stores with some repair shops placed around. There is a food court upgrade ongoing so you can’t really see well and have to walk around the food court to see all the different foods available other than that it’s excellent.

  • 4/5 Marina M. 1 year ago on Google
There are all the shops at my fingertips and I can do all my shopping in one go! Although, sometimes, it is hard to find a parking spot near the entrance and, as I have a disability, it becomes hard for me to walk from the car to the entrances therefore I avoid going shopping during peak hours or on the weekends as there are not enough parking spaces allocated for elderly people or people with disabilities. Otherwise, it is a very nice and clean centre and it is usually a nice experience to shop at the centre most of the times.

  • 3/5 Alexandra 1 year ago on Google
Overall the store range is pretty good, but the population of the area has far outgrown the capacity for most of these to provide sufficient stock, especially in the bigger popular chain stores and especially around times like Christmas & Easter etc. Trying to shop at the end of the day, or closer to Christmas is often disappointing as I leave without many items I need as they were out of stock. Most other big shopping centres don’t seem to have the same problem, or not nearly as bad as Fountain Gate. But other than that it has mostly all the shops I need & want and is generally easy to park at and navigate around inside the centre.

  • 5/5 Daniel 1 year ago on Google
Well organised and with a well developed food court. Some plants around too. It does get very busy at certain times of the year and parking can be challenging. Parking on the roof is usually the best option. Be mindful of getting around during night hours as it becomes more difficult to more around (especially if you have a trolley) as sections get closed off by security

Easily one of the biggest malls I've been to in Australia. Brimming with eateries, retail shops and cinemas, the place offers something to everyone. One complaint, however, is their crowd control after evening shows at Village Cinemas. They cordon off some sections of the mall for security reasons (which is fully understandable) but navigating that maze of a mall to get to your parked car is no joke when there's not a lot of people around to help.

FG is a good shopping centre with shops that are important to life. Such as Telstra and other providers. Lots of food shops, coffee shops and many more varieties. Myer is on two levels. There are gift shops, jewellery and lots others. Quite easy to be there most of the day and maybe a movie or two. Enjoy

Trying to navigate through the underground parking lot near post office as a pedestrian is a very unpleasant experience. That whole area in general needs a revamp as it’s incredibly dark, sketchy and pedestrian access from there to the the bus stop is very poor

Huge place with an amazing variety of stores on site. Took a long time to walk around and have a quick look at the stores. Bought some fruit and vegetables at the market type stalls. Very fresh and good prices. The concierge ladies were great when I had a couple of questions and they pointed me in the right direction.. Overall a great place to visit.

A Local's Perspective on Westfield Fountain Gate As a frequent visitor and a long time resident of the neighborhood, Westfield Fountain Gate has become an integral part of my life in Narre Warren, Victoria. It is a hub of bustling activity, offering a fantastic selection of over 400 stores, including major retailers such as Kmart, Target, Big W, Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, and Myer. This makes it a one-stop-shop for all my shopping needs, whether it's groceries or clothing, homewares or electronics. The centre is well-managed and maintained, which is a testament to the efficiency of the Westfield team. The staff members here are generally friendly and go out of their way to assist shoppers, which adds to the overall positive experience. Not to mention, the ample parking spaces and public transport access make it easy for both locals and visitors to reach. Fountain Gate doesn't just cater to shopping; it's also a hub for entertainment and dining. The variety of restaurants, cinemas, and the occasional bingo session, is great for a fun family outing or an evening with friends. The centre also hosts various events and promotions, adding a dash of excitement to everyday shopping. While the centre is steeped in popular culture, being the setting for the beloved comedy series "Kath and Kim", it's not without its downsides. Due to its size, the centre can often become crowded and noisy, particularly during peak hours and school holidays. This, coupled with its somewhat confusing layout, can sometimes make for a stressful shopping experience. Shopping or dining at some of the high-end brands and restaurants can also prove pricey, and the long queues and waiting times at certain facilities (like the cinemas and food court) can sometimes test your patience. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall experience at Westfield Fountain Gate is enjoyable. As with any large centre, planning ahead, checking the website for updates, and trying to avoid peak periods can greatly enhance your shopping experience. In conclusion, Westfield Fountain Gate offers a well-rounded, albeit occasionally crowded shopping, dining, and entertainment experience right in the heart of Narre Warren. It's a place I frequent and will continue to do so in the future. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates the convenience of having everything under one roof but would advise newcomers to be prepared for the hustle and bustle.

Great place to get all your shopping done from food to clothing/jewellery. Don’t get lost though, it’s a massive shopping centre with everything you need.

a good shopping centre to just be at in general. however, tonight (Wednesday, 19/7/2023) , 3 young girls asked a security guard if they could get through the locked gates as their cars were parked there and there was no other way, which he rudely replied with no as he earlier ‘saw’ them around the shops, which how is having a trolly on you a crime. kindly raised the concern as 3 young girls shouldn’t be walking around the OUTSIDE of the shopping centre especially all wearing dark coloured clothes (unsafe on roads which had to walk all the way down) he rudely replied again with no and to give him a second which he proceeded to ignore the request and didn’t seem to have a care in the world that 3 girls walking down a dark empty path wasn’t an issue. Next time, even if you aren’t having a great interaction with the person, don’t jeopardise the safety and make them walk around the whole outside of fountain gate. let them through. if anyone had of been injured, that would of been on you. It is utterly disgusting how this situation was treated. especially as an older man was arguing with a young girl. Have some self respect. All that was needed was to get to the carpark which ended up escalating resulting in walking around in the dark late at night, with no-one around. Have some self decency and just let them through. As stated above anything had of happened and that would of been on you mate. Hope you’re ecstatic with yourself.

Gosh, it's a big place to get around! I love it as there is the Cinema and a good selection of restaurants and cafes. I loved the Food Court as it has a great variety of food. So it was an enjoyable experience to have a wander.

Quieter than usual, the place is generally full of rowdy teenagers so recommend day shopping. Heaps of stores to choose from though the selections get repetitive. Heaps of parking.

The kids' activities need to be better. It's usually only colouring in, kids like coloring, but if there going out to do something a bit more entertaining is the way to go. It's not difficult to have a craft or something. Don't call it a science week activity if its a colouring in.

Good for when I need to commit time to shopping for various things. Vastly too big to enjoy frequently though. Parking is generally as issue.

Great shopping center. Lots of parking. Lots of variety of shops and things to look at. Great food court and surrounding take-away places. I grew up with this shopping complex and recently discovered they expanded it and added more to it.

As a staff member I'm forced to use the public toilets which are always filthy , broken or both. This is really not on as I've seen better facilities in developing countries. Please invest in building more or renovating what is their especially near Foot Locker. They have opened some great shops. Its sad there is no health food shop. Cinemas are a treat to take the kids to during morning sessions. Safety is a big concern with everyday brazen thefts and fights to gangs congregating near exits. I know security are trying to do the best with what the resources they have, however they don't have enough law on their side to even apprehend or physically stop anyone.

A great mix of shops… though not a very intuitive layout. If you take the time to explore, so can find some cool hidden gems!

Target stores are a rarety these days. We waited a long time to shop at a target store because of covid still being around. At target fountain gate I was able to purchase inexpensive QS cotton fitted sheets for $22 plus the new Britney spears book for 40% discount. Talk about value for money and quality products. Our visit to fountain gate was a targeted visit but we will try for return trips more often.

Always clean, especially the toilets. Alot of teenagers hang out so security is good. Love the range of stores just wish they had a Motto Store, Taking Shape TS14+ Store, Ishka Store, Autograph & Leonards Chicken.
