This is a large shopping center that has a number of large stores and shops all in one location. Given its size and extended shopping hours on Friday until 9 p.m., free parking is an added benefit.

A large, good shopping center with most things you could hope for in one. Better than average food court with quite a bit of variety. Slightly tired (showing its age) in some areas, but not to an extent that that'd be a major issue.

Every time I'm here there is a SWAT team chasing down people stealing from kmart which makes the shopping centre feel very unsafe. The toilets are also something you would see on the beaches of Liberia, I almost feel as if I have been plunged into an alternate reality in which everything has a brown spray paint hue. Despite all of this, I continue to do my shopping here as I feel the multiculturalism of the area fills my cultural quota for the year in just one visit.

All types of consumption articles written here are easily available...All the expatriates who live around here come here because they get food at good prices here. If I get a chance to come here again, I will go here again and again because the atmosphere here is not noisy at all. Here Hindustani, Pakistani, Nepali, Banglashi, and also from different countries live near and come here on every weekend. Moving to Australia and learning the culture there is very easy.I tell all you Indians, Bangladeshi, Nepali, Sri Lankan, Pakistani and other asian countries to visit Australia once.

Northland Shopping Centre! Open in 1966, Shopping Centre was one of the first self-contained shopping centres in Melbourne, Victoria. Northland Shopping Centre was built and owned by the Myer Emporium. In July 1983, Myer Emporium sold the shopping centre. Marvellous shopping centre to go with grandparents, family and friends. I think this place is pretty good. It's a decent shopping center where you can buy quite a decent amount of things. Clothes, furniture, food. You name it, you got it. Some places good be cleaner though. The Myer change rooms are absolutely disgusting. Apart from that, everything else is good. This is my local shopping center.

The big win about this shopping centre is the ample parking. Really open space, laid out wide instead of long. Roads in the parking lot can however become a bit confusing, so be mindful when exiting of overlaps/ confusing rules. Inside, quite a clean and tidy centre, mapped out very logically and conveniently with the supermarkets towards the front and miscellaneous others further back in.

We have been to this shopping centre before - and this trip was equally fun and productive. Got what we needed - shampoos from Lush, shoes from Famous footwear and a cute dress from Dotti. There are so many stores here - you can spend hours just browsing.

This shopping centre is a Frankenstein's monster. All the bits seem added on, badly, then zapped with electricity to make it live. A thoroughfare that forces me to walk thru Myer and then to be halted by the food court seating. Who puts a food court in a thoroughfare? No-one else, that's who. Even the car parking is messed up. Do yourself a favour and take a drive over to Doncaster shoppo for a good shopping experience, they know how to do it.

Great selection of shops for all possible grocery and retail needs. Mostly on the one level which is handy for getting around. Can be difficult to get a park at times as it gets quite busy. Lift to the cinema seems to be broken often meaning no real mode of entry for wheelchair users so I would not recommend going to the cinema here. Otherwise quite good.

Northlands is a huge shopping centre. It has so many shop. Your guaranteed to find what you need at this fantastic complex. Even has movie theatre, and other stuff to keep kids entertained. There are also a lot of shops that surround the centre on the opposite side of the road and side streets. Parking is huge with multi level car park. This place is definitely worth the visit.

Very big mall with wide range of stores and shops. One of the few malls which has both target and kmart. It has free wifi and charging area. Information system is placed in various places. Pop-up stores are placed in many area. There is always some kind of promotional activities happening in this mall. Huge parking spot. We could not spot any kids play area easily and we are not sure if there is one. Myer store in this mall is so huge.

Good place for shopping all kind of things, ladies or gents all get what they are looking for. Reasonable prices depending on brands. Must visit place. Good choice shopping place for La trobe university students. If someone is looking for authentic Indian food then STAPLE OF INDIA restaurant is the right place. You will not be disappointed. You will love it because each dish has it's own taste ,which one hardly finds at most food joints.

Half decent and the masses were very kind today. Avoided the food court as it was a little loose - but the shopping gives me what I need. No complaints - aside from Myer being way too hot.

This is a great shopping centre. Great fashion stores. It has everything you need. It's a very clean centre very well kept and warm in winter and cool in summer. It's also very spacious so your not walking into other people like some other smaller centres. A nice crowd of people there too. It's a great place to go shopping with family and friends.

My dentist Pavel is at the Northland Dental Clinic and I highly recommend him for his caring and thorough attention to detail. I have had fillings, extraction, crowns, implant and cleaning and I have left his surgery feeling very comfortable and relaxed after every visit. His staff are also attentive and caring. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Plenty of parking available, more so since the china pox eruption. Not advisable to use the multi level parking as this is frequented by car thieves and other undesirables. The shops are well stocked and patronized, the whole place is exceptionally clean. Sadly, many of the stores lack sufficient staff. Will continue using this place as needed.

Large, spacious, plenty of shops. Not many good restaurants. Too many clothing and accessory stores. The customers tend to be somewhat young and hang out in gangs. Too many smokers smoking at the entrance. People drinking alcohol in public outside. A bit rough. I walk in and out as quickly as I can.

Great Shopping center. Houses alot of common Australian retail stores. Cinema is a plus. However the building complex confuses me sometimes and without the map kiosks, I would've been lost many times. Can be busy during the day, and parking gets difficult outside specially with the bus stand situated in the parking lot. The parking building is more convenient during busy times.

Been coming here my whole life, nearly 30 years, it’s always been a great place to shop, having lunch and even just look around. Huge variety of stores, from department stores to more expensive, fancier smaller stores, clothing stores, jewellery stores, electronic stores, skincare clinics, and great places to buy groceries. Great places to eat, places for kids to play, comfortable places to sit down and rest. Love it, it’s always been my favourite shopping centre.

A good variety of shops, and generally adequate parking throughout the year. It can get a bit crowded on some days where large discounts are universally offered though. Also a good variety of restaurants if you just want to stop for some food.

My go to shopping centre. Has good stores but can do better in the shops and food. Yet all in all a good place to shop. Around northland there are Other shops like Bunnings, furniture shops which all comes handy. Is definitely a good shipping experience.

Soooo much food, but struggling in retail. A lot of stores are "shelf less". I understand the supply shortages right now but just get what you need there IF you can. I hope it picks up soon because its a really clean modern layout now with all the changes. I love just sitting and chilling in rest spots sometimes. Some amazing seats and comfy chairs around without being right next to others too

I like to go there every week to relax, enjoy and spend money for my happiness. In addition, I have found nothing of issues related to mall access for wheelchairs at all. The mall is a peaceful, friendly building for disabilities.

The largest single level shopping centre in Melbourne. Pretty much has every kind of store you'd need. Food court is a little cramped but the variety is good. Most offerings are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is buoyant. The hairdresser, Cuts Only, deserves a special mention.

Been here several times. It's a huge mall with amazing stores. Bit confusing, make sure you have the strength to walk to find your desired stores 😂. Please make sure to retain the parking spot where you parked, it's hard to find. It has all the stores you can think of. Multiplex is on the top floor.

  • 4/5 Gabby 1 year ago on Google
Easy to navigate, everything you need. Clean and plenty of room to walk without feeling claustrophobic. I went here on the weekend during the Christmas season, so of course, incredibly busy. During the week however is a comfortable place to shop. For a huge shopping center however, it does close very early during the weekdays. Closing at 7 would be more ideal during the week.

Barely evolves as a shopping centre. Same old tired stores and eateries that you see in most shopping centres. Food court lacks charm and ambience, no toy store AT ALL and barely anything of entertainment value or draw cards. Cinema is about the only good reason to go there. Parking can also be a pain in the neck at times.

  • 3/5 Jay T. 11 months ago on Google
Good selection of stores but annoying that country road has gone. Car parking here is less than ideal. Ground floor Entrance to Myerfrom carpark has been closed also. It forces you to enter the shopping centre where you have to walk though a cloud of smokers and the riff Raff that hang out the front, not great when you have a baby. As for amenities it has everything you need once inside.

Nice, clean, welcoming and overall great variety of retail outlets and also shopping store! Today we only visited the one store (JD Sports), due to time pressures, a screaming 4 year old and because the family and I went to Northlands specifically, to buy 4 family members new shoes... All 4 of us walked out with a brand new pair of shoes each and it was made so much easier, through having our selected design/brand of shoes, added to our JD Sports "wishlist" prior to arrival. Northlands Shopping Centre ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ JD Sports ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Parking at Northlands ⭐️⭐️ (due to very very limited parking opportunities/spaces, located outside in the open for a large 4 wheel drive, and because the clearance allowed 50mm at the absolute maximum for my large 4x4. A+ experience

Went to Hoyts D-Box cinema. seriously did not love this experience. The service at the candy bar was slow with a silly pay then pick up system. The staff were friendly and helpful though. The D-Box cinema experience was not my favourite. I found the seats to be quite uncomfortable. I was not a fan of the movement however some of the younger people I was with enjoyed the experience and movement.

Apparently Victoria's largest single storey shopping complex, this place has loads of variety with large variety stores, supermarkets, clothing, electronics and specialty stores. You'll also find Myer, a sizable food precinct and cinemas. Finding a parking spot can be tough a peak times so planning ahead is key.

Good old Northland is Chadstone‘s cheaper cousin. It’s got free parking, but you’re looking at mid to low range shops. Definitely covers it off if you’re in the area… But don’t expect to buy a Gucci bag there.

My first visit to this establishment and it wasn’t bad. The young Staff were impressive and very helpful. I thought the small space was utilised pretty well. The only complaint I would have is the equipment, slides and facility needs dusting beyond bad. The slides had thick layers or dust caked on it causing my family to sneeze ridiculously.

Typical shopping centre with various shops and mobile repair places. The entrance is very non intuitive from the carpark. The carpark is too low for my Hiace which was annoying, luckily there were some parking spaces just outside. The front end has been rizzed up with planters and whatnot but the back end is just the usual tiled floors etc.

Northland is the place you go when you want 14 year olds to assault you and security to do nothing about it, it's got one of the highest crime rates in melbourne shopping centres and nothing done about it. Good shops tho if you make it out alive!

Has always been a great place for the last 15 years that I've been visiting here. It's got everything like literally everything. You name it, it's there. Food, Lifestyle, Kids, Movies, Sports, Technology, Fashion, Arcade, Entertainment, Cafe, and what not.

It would be Great if the very neglected Food Court could get a makeover. Noisy, uncomfortable and ancient seating. No ambience whatsoever. Just outside of the Foodcourt it was closed for months whilst they made a family friendly area?! It will accommodate about 8 separate lots of people and the little slide they have for the kids won't be much good in the summer months with the temperature heating up. Surely with the amount of money going into that project a better Foodcourt would have been more viable. Every other part of Northland gets the magic wand treatment. I've been going to Northland from day 1 of its opening, please can the eating area get something done with it? Ferguson Plarre, KFC and Baker's Delight all closing/ closed. Ferguson Plarre had been there for the entire time I'm pretty sure.

Misleading Pricing and Sales On 1th of Agust 2023, I visited FOREVER NEW store and noticed several products displayed with red stickers, indicating a markdown in prices. Additionally, there were signs promoting a "Take a further 30% Off" sale. However, upon reaching the register to make my purchase, I was informed that the items would be charged at their full price or only the red sticker price would be offered. Also this experience happened for me on 24 July 2023 and I must admit that my most recent encounter with your customer service has left me feeling disappointed. The incident occurred when I came across an item I had been eyeing, which was labeled with an extra 20% discount. Excited about the prospect of purchasing it at a discounted rate, I approached one of your staff members to avail of the offer. Unfortunately, the lady I spoke with refused to honor the advertised discount, stating that it was not applicable to the item I had chosen. As a result, I reluctantly purchased the item without the promised discount. This left me feeling dissatisfied and questioning the consistency of your promotional offers and customer service standards. I am disappointed by this misleading pricing and sales practice, as it creates a false impression of significant discounts, only to be contradicted at the point of purchase. This situation not only caused frustration but also raised concerns about the transparency and honesty of the pricing strategies employed at the store. I believe it is essential for customers to have a positive shopping experience and to feel confident in the pricing integrity of the products they wish to purchase. I kindly request that you thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate measures to rectify the situation.

A great range of shops and franchise outlets but the place is laid out like a maze. For example, the quickest way to get to the food market from the supermarkets is to cut through the Myers store. The whole centre is floor level so pretty easy to manage if you have a disability. I visit weekly to shop at Coles. Got to admit, it took me a number of visits to get my bearings to remember how to get to key tenants like JB HiFi or Kmart. Trolley collections from the car park are slack so often trolley bays are overflowing. People tend to not match trollies like for like so you often see them manoeuvred into each other in strange angles for them to get their gold coin back. Definitely not ideal.

Normal shopping centre which is congested. Can't find a parking space at the time of visit. Bus service access to the centre is fantastic and serviceable to many other suburbs in the north and east. Access to toilets requires long walks and navigate where they are located with minimal signage shown. My experience was what I expected of huge shopping centres to be like an unfavorable place to shop other than for a specific article and a quick exit.

I actually have a problem with this place My wife likes going there so much that I'm sick of this place. Just because I don't like going there doesn't mean it's not a awesome shopping centre has everything you need go enjoy please

Quite a large shopping centre with a range of different outlets and shops. However, I recommend keeping your shopping to during the week or on a Saturday, as Sundays are quite busy and crowded. However if you don’t mind the crowd, any day is perfect for all your shopping needs!

Decent shopping centre with a wide range of great consumer brands. Can get busy, but usually not too hard outside of standard peak times finding a park.
