Not a bad little shopping centre with Coles, Vodafone, Australia Post and some other shops. My only gripe with this shopping centre is Kmart, without Kmart it’s a bit quieter, otherwise great and super convenient. The best thing about this shopping centre is parking.

It's a sufficient medium sized shopping centre with places for groceries and other types of goods. It has access to a tram and it's not difficult at all to navigate.

“Good thing about shopping centre is the customers around here are really generous and polite comparing to the customer attitudes in other centres ….” Quoting a salesperson of this centre ;)

The plaza feels old fashion and run down. Lots of empty shops. The open air donut stall adds a delightful greasy oil smell to the entire plaza. Plus the men's loo High St end, has no toilet seats. So be sure to practice squatting. This is a beautiful place to shop.

I have been here on and off over the years (15yrs). I’ve seen its highs and lows… the loss Kmart didn’t help… Coles x 2 and liquorland are consistent…..

In my opinion not a pleasurable shopping experience. Who in their right mind places a busy park in between the two buildings that make up the shopping center? The center comes across as rundown and depressing. One building has a Coles store at either end. Both stores have different layouts. In the other building, an Aldi and an under cover carpark. The smaller tenants were relatively non descript so did not leave a lasting impression on me to recall what they were. I do recall a very busy butcher near one of the Coles stores, so assume they were good. If you were a local, it would be convenient for grocery shopping but, if you're looking for a shopping experience, look elsewhere.

I'm still not over the loss of the K-mart, but what are you going to do? 2 Coles. 2 pharmacies that are related to each other. 2 cheap shops. It's such a unique shopping centre it should be included in tourist brochures. Will they have what you need? Will there be some random shop stocking that random item? Who knows - but it's part of the fun.

Honestly this place really sucks since Kmart left. Super hard to get a good coffee, the food options are really limited and there’s maybe three shops that are worth your time. Two of them are coles.

There is definitely a good side to the plaza and a not-so-good side. The tobacconist on the High Street side should really be shown the door unfortunately. She doesn't belong there as she has the manners of a goat. The other side is much more lively and welcoming.

Enveloped by an amazing ambience and palpable vibe,Northcote Plaza Shopping centre is my go to place when I'm feeling the desire to go on a major shopping spree. It is also of such great convenience as it literally has such a vast array of diverse and different business outlets under the one roof, that will surely enthrall, entice and satisfy your buying needs. Aesthetically, the Plaza is infinitely enveloped by sheer opulence which is conducive in enhancing and intensifying an already amazing experience at shopping at such an amazing and sublime shopping centre.Added to this, the employees as well as management who work at this shopping centre are so friendly and accommodating and are not averse in going out of their way in ensuring that there respective customers achieve complete satisfaction, they are both dedicated, diligent and passionate about their roles and obligations as employees at this business outlet, and impart the absolute pinnacle of superlative skills in ensuring that your shopping experience at this store will be both sublime and unforgettable. In conclusion to my rather extensive review,I would just like to add that if your in need of fulfilling your shopping desire, then I have no hesitation in vehemently recommending that you pay a visit to Northcote Plaza, you will not be disappointed, five star service guaranteed.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

This complex has a wide range of wares, and something I like; it hasn't changed for the 20 years I've been in the area. That will annoy some, be for me its nice to have a constant around. What's notable and odd here is there are two Coles stores, the Northern one a big bigger than the Southern one. A decent number of food choices too, plus a nice deli and jewellery shop.

It is getting refurbished, it’s been there for years, but it does have some good shops. Supermarkets, delicatessens etc, and cafes, and it has a has a fantastic park playground at the rear of the centre. It will great when CAThe complex is completed.

Time for an update. They also need to get rid of one of the coles supermarkets and make way for some competition! I don’t think I have been to any small shopping complex that has two large coles supermarkets. They also had Kmart but they closed the only good store in the plaza.

Poorly set out, ill conceived. It has two Coles supermarkets , and they also removed the Kmart. Virtually no food court and you would struggle to find something decent to eat while you were there. This is very much an in-out job.

I have lived in Northcote my whole life and growing up I worked at the Plaza at several places, over the years the Plaza itself seems to have just gotten worse and worse, once upon a time Kmart was the best thing here but seems like Kmart did not renew their contracts with the Plaza and that's no surprise since there is no update to the interior or stores, no other department stores, almost no clothing places left (certainly no male places), the Plaza has had many shops closed down and it seems for such a great suburb of Melbourne the shopping Plaza is let down by it's lack of update & lack of stores. There is two Coles in the Northcote Plaza leading from the days where Coles group did not want any competition In the Plaza so they swooped in and took the other groceries shop and made it a Coles. This place is in desperate need of some major retailers jumping on board and serious update. If I am not mistaken private owners have been trying with council to get approvals to expand the Plaza in levels and bring on some redevelopment with possible addition of a cinema and additional shops and restaurants, I believe council has been difficult. I really hope this Plaza gets a much needed update and Northcote Plaza can finally be a go to place for shopping. Overall it only serves as a place to go when you need groceries or something from the discount stores, your choices in shopping for anything outside of that is limited.

What can I say........it looks like the plaza is suffering from a slow and painful death with two Coles supermarkets feeding on the corpse like sharks on a dead whale. What would be awesome is if we could reimagine the entire plaza....imagine a Preston Market in the heart of Northcote?? Still, I shop here to support the locals.

Quite popular amongst the older generations, it is relatively small but has enough diversity of businesses that you can find a few things. It has two Coles supermarkets only a couple stores apart which is... odd. The Kmart closed down so if you're looking for one the best bet is Northland shopping centre. Average.

Good range of shops. 2 Coles. Yes 2 Coles. 1 Aldi but 0 Woolworths. For some reason i have a fondness for this place. It ain't pretty but is very functional. Fishmonger down the side is excellent next to the delicatessen.

Everything except a Woollies. Sadly the broadest menu in town (Thyme To Eat) has closed so no more bangers and mash. Next best is North Seafood & grill (forget Deganis) and Kmart has gone to make space for another horrible tower blocking views from All Nations Park.

Used to love going here when I was younger but now that they got rid of the K-mart I don’t really enjoy going as much there’s still plenty of great stores however so it’s still a great place to shop and if you wanna get something from coles you’re in luck because they have two stores so if you love shopping at coles this is the place to go just know there’s no longer a Kmart and instead the shell of what once was just an empty large liminal room so keep that in mind hope they put something there soon as it’s been like a year or more since it was shut down and I realise I should not be putting this much energy on something that’s been gone for like more than a year TLDR: Great place for general shopping they two coles and they sadly no longer have a Kmart but they have other stores to check out

The whole shopping centre needs a complete revamp/refresh as it is stuck in the 1980s. The introduction of a more lively range of cafes and restaurants is what is needed and a more diverse range of shops. The Kmart that is presently there has been sold and will close down in November 2020 as will the two Coles stores so enjoy the convenience while you can! Parking has never been a problem when I have visited generally on a weekend.

It's a community plaza. There are some fantastic shops here such as the deli and the florists. I've never understood why there are two Coles and it's great the are has a Kmart. Generous parking, but the plaza needs an upgrade. Also more security presence would be great as sometimes, just sometimes it doesn't feel safe.

A shell of its former glory. Two Coles supermarkets and that’s about it. Kmart shutting down years ago was the final straw. It has an EBgames, a few two dollar shop’s. Two massage places. Three!!! Pharmacies and a donut king basically.
