Avoid this shopping centre if at all possible. Parking is a NIGHTMARE! The car park has clearly been designed without taking cars into consideration - a two year old could have designed a better car park. Forest Hill, The Pines, Kerrimuir and several other shopping centres are close by and a MUCH better option.

Wow, recent expansion and renovations have to this place into a good groceries shopping option. Many new eateries and cafes are emerging, too. There are plenty of parking spots, and being not so busy is surely a plus. Can't wait to visit again when all renovations and expansions are complete 😍. Then it might become a more regular visit.

What an absolute nightmare this place is. I didn't even get in to the shops. Please mark the car park as a one way system! To the people tutting, skaking their heads in disgust & tooting at me whilst I tried to get out, may you never make a mistake in your life. There was no signage to indicate the one way system. A very unpleasant experience that could have been prevented.

Absolute disaster, terrible place. Parking here is worse than anywhere in Melbourne. The "upgrade" has been in progress for over 4 years and nothing has improved. Go to Forest Chase instead, much better parking, easier shopping and so many more choices there.

This shopping centre has been completely revamped.. Beautiful clean and good parking. Good shops.

The interior is nice but the north side car park is an absolute disaster and is a truly abysmal design. I noticed they've already changed the parking lot to be one direction around but the entrance and exit is still horrific to get in and out of. Updating as parking has gotten worse, there’s nowhere to park and the whole place is an absolute mess.

I want to give the centre more than one star because its starting to look good inside and I'm sure it will be great when the upgrades are completed.. BUT!!! The centre management seem to have no care about customer parking. The tradies working on the redevelopment park their vehicles in the customer car parks, leaving customers without a place to park. It can take multiple laps and at least 10+ minutes just to find ONE car park. I would not recommend going here at any time the construction is taking place. As soon as the tradies finish for the day, car parking is a breeze.. I get that they need to park somewhere, but this should have been taken into consideration during the planning stages and not severely disadvantaged both customers and tenants with near impossible parking during the day. I really feel for the smaller tenants as they must be struggling to maintain good client relationships when their clients are unable to attend the centre because theres no available parking..

My favourite shopping centre. Lots of parking. Every main supermarket for groceries can be found there. There are Coles, Woolsworth, Aldi, independent continental grocer, Bakers delight, fish, butcher, florist, Specsaver, etc

Accidentally came across Blackburn Corner. Looks like a new or renovated shopping centre. Has Coles, Woolworths and Aldi. Plenty of food/restaurants, cafes, fruit and veg, plus speciality shops and Jetts. Saccas has a huge selection of fresh food and vegetables and is very reasonably priced. The centre is very clean, bright and new. I was impressed and will go back again to try some of the eating places.

If you want the best multi-culturally diverse range of delicatessen products, fresh vegetables and fruit and a great fresh barista made coffee and patisserie then look no further than the new centrally located store opposite Coles and the Butchers Club at Blackburn Square Shopping Centre. 10 times better than Colonial Market at Westfield Doncaster Shoppingtown.

It was my 1st visit to Blackburn Square in North Blackburn Shopping Center. My 1st impression of the overall layout was not very impacting with badly littered outdoor parking. In the whole, the center looked in desperate need for an upgrade with more appealing and inviting atmosphere. It also needs some good coffee outlets and restaurants.

Really love the Fish Pier in this shopping centre. They mainly sell Aus and NZ fresh fish. Some of the fish species are very rarely that I havent seen them in any other fish pier But because of poor Centre Management, 50% of the shops have closed down, making this shopping centre a stuggle for the retailers... The fish pier is now gone...

I know this centre is still to be finished however the carpark at the Springfield road entrance is awkward and dangerous. Need alteration to widen the left turn at the exit coming out of the carpark and even though it's one way cars still travel in both directions as well as going too fast.

Parking for this shopping centre is an absolute nightmare. The front parking is always packed and too many people ignore the one way- to steal the few available parking spots and nearly cause accidents .Construction has been going for 3 years now with no end in sight.

Renovation is taking forever! Started pre Covid, a lot of speciality shops missing because of works. Getting around as a pedestrian not safe. And trying to find where to return your trolley, hopeless!

I just love the shops. You've got everything here, 3 supermarkets, Saccas, a great fruit and vegetables store with a wonderful deli. There is Fish Pier , a lot more nice shops and Moon and Spoon for a coffee and a bite to eat!! There is only one thing that gets only one star, and that's the parking.

Brand new centre but absolutely zero mobile phone reception. I couldn't present my prescription on my phone and had to walk to the 7-11 across the carpark before I had enough reception to display the e-script. I know this is not the centre's fault and lies with Optus but they should campaign for better reception for their centre.

If you want to buy basics then Blackburn square suits all your requirements. It's not a large mall packed with people, but it is a good little local shopping centre for people who live or study closeby needing to do their weekly shopping etc. My last experience here was ok. The shopping centre is very easy to get around and rarely heavily populated, making shopping a quick in and out. The shopping centre itself is quite bland and has no unique attributes that set it apart from every other mediocre shopping centre/square.

Is a small shopping centre on a single level with 2 supermarkets. There is one bank which is the commonwealth bank. One some evenings the floor cleaners block off areas so they can clean. It's a nice place to go shopping.

As with smaller shopping centres getting the right retailers is a big issue. 2 large supermarkets with smaller retailers. Parking is always good with easy access in and out. For a local suburban shopping centre it is convenient without the hassles of a large shopping centre.

A pretty abject little shopping centre to be honest. And DON’T try to plug in your phone for a recharge or security guards come tell you off. Rental takings must be very poor if what you save in electricity is more than you’ll earn from accommodating shoppers. Just WOW.

Centre Management is useless and unprofessional - same as it used to be when I worked there 3 yrs ago. Called 2 weeks ago to ask about casual leasing as advertised on the website. The person in charge was "away", so my number was taken down but I never heard back. Called again today within their 9-3 window only to be told by that there is no casual leasing. How about calling me back? Or perhaps just updating your website, so that potential customers can look elsewhere.

Loving the new renovations. About time! So excited for it to be finished and have Coles and Woolies. Although I feel like an aldi would of been a way better addition than that fancy place there putting in the centre. But I look forward to seeing it when it's all done and hope they add an aldi somewhere in there eventually.

I like this place, very convenient for locals. But biggest flaw is no mobile reception in 2022 in the middle of the eastern suburbs of metropolitan Melbourne. How am I supposed to call my wife for grocery instructions or swipe tik toks while waiting in the que?

  • 4/5 Russell C. 1 year ago on Google
This medium sized suburban shopping centre is undergoing a major redevelopment. Both the two major supermarkets are present but many of the smaller variety shops are yet to open. It is fine for weekly shopping but not for major purchases including hardware, electrical and furniture. Parking is a little restricted at present because of construction but will be ample.

  • 5/5 John B. 1 year ago on Google
My first visit since the opening of the renovated half of the centre was opened. Man o man! At last a 21st century shopping centre in North Blackburn. Can hardly wait until the rest is finished and opened. Beautiful reno, modern looking facilities, good parking, plenty of shopping options and yet more to come. Ten out of 10 - can't praise the first stage highly enough. Great job. I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely love the redevelopment of this shopping center which was long overdue. It is my local and I frequent all shops except the pharmacy which is a shame but I refuse to spend my money anywhere they treat their customer with complete disrespect and does not comply with ACCC replace or refund for faulty items. Have multiple videos of item not working but tried to make me deal with the supplier who was just as disgraceful. In the end, threw the item in the bin but will let everyone I meet know about my experience with this shop, its a shame there is only one pharmacy in the complex. But I love all of the other stores!

Visiting this Centre atleast once per week, it is nice having Woolworths, Coles, a really great fruit and veg shop.. Baker's delight.. liquor etc.. Good atmosphere here and feels new. The parking here is mental busy and rather frustrating.. Thankfully there is some development happening that might fix the parking issue.. I also understand that it will get an Aldi!! What else does one need.

This is now one of the best Shopping Centres in and around Blackburn area! It used to be pretty old-fashioned around the time we moved in to Blackburn (in 2017), but recently it went through a complete makeover with Coles, ALDI, Fish Pier, Boost and other shops coming in. There are plenty of parking spots as well. To conclude, it's a pretty cool place to shop for your weekly and daily needs. You can also hang out in one of the cool restaurants that the centre has now.
