Bayside Centre in Frankston has been an iconic and essential part of the CBD of the suburb. Owned and operated by Vicinity Centres, the stores you want. The amenities you expect. An environment you won’t want to leave. You’ll find them in the Vicinity. From your favourite local to retail centres that can compete on any international stage, Vicinity aims to enrich the communities we serve with the experience they need. It's a great centre to find most things you'd be looking for.

Good stores are leaving in their droves and the centre has empty stores. Many are moving to Karingal Hub where there are 3 major supermarkets, free parking and no walkway peddlers trying to sell to people by jumping in front of them. Westfields are greedy. They overcharge leases and overcharge for parking. No wonder everyone is going to Karingal instead. As a shopper reliant on public transport this annoys me greatly. I now need to travel further for the stores I visit because they got free parking and a much cheaper lease at the Hub. Westfields used to have a monopoly and thought it could overcharge. 2022 is proving there's no such thing as too big to fail. Compete or get left behind Frankston. Even massive chains like McDonalds left, and now Myer is leaving. This is so sad.

Terrible mall in the crackhead capital of Australia, half the customers are methed up to the bloody eyeballs, the toilets are disgusting and the "I own frankston" kid was nowhere to be seen

Not a lot too offer. Between the scabs asking for smokes and the over priced bad food their is a few alright little stores.

Im not usually a big fan of the Bayside shops, however i lost my parking ticket AFTER i had paid for it. I was 100% expecting to have to pay the $15 for a lost ticket. Howevercthe lady looked up my payment and it was not an issue. Very pleased with this experience.

They keep a shop who steal money from customers - Sunrise mobile!! We paid by card. We taped on two terminals. They told us that first terminal didn’t work so we used second one but the money was taken twice. We went to complain straight away nobody listen to us and we were told the money will be returned but it wasn’t! We don’t go there to often so we went to complain again one month later and the customer service is so bad!!! The second time we went there we spoke to the store manager. I really don't understand how she could keep her job! So arrogant and rude person!! She didn't even look at the store's bank account to see what happened on their end, but wanted to see our full statement to see that the transaction was not refunded (our personal stuff!!) after we went for the full bank statement to a bank the money was finally returned to us with arrogant faces and really rude behaviour! I hope you don't want to keep a business that is taking away your customers!! The highlights: we were called mate, bro, it’s only $20 why you care? (It wasn’t about the money all), they even called security on us (the security guard was so nice to us, on our side and told us where to complain) I reported them to customer affairs, if you have similar experience please do the same to get rid of this dodgy shop!!

Bayside shopping centre like Frankston CBD itself has gone downhill big time. Empty shops everywhere, shops arrive then go. All the good shops have moved to Karingal which is now far superior. Worst thing they did was muck around with food court. Closed the top one and chased the big fast food chains out. What’s left is either very expensive or putrid or sometimes both. We prefer to travel further to either Karingal, Southland or Dandy Plaza now.

customer service in regards to the parking meter machine is a disgrace I used three credit cards trying to pay a $1.53 parking ticket to get out of your parking garage and each time it said processing for a couple of minutes although it didn’t say declined it did not process my card. I tried calling the customer service number on the machine and no one picked up the line. I tried calling the Bayside mall and was left a voicemail recording. This is extremely unsettling, especially as I was carjacked this April I am extremely irritated that this is eating into my personal time as well as such basic technology can’t be correctly configured or simply employing someone to be able to answer. Safety related questions is a legal litigation waiting to happen. If I were the center Management I would ensure that this was addressed ASAP as if any one was even in an accident on their way home from shopping due to such a frustrating time consuming mistake on Center management in Bayside mall would be liable. The frustrating time consuming mistake would be completely liable, so free legal advice just make sure that when someone needs a customer service operator. I your worried about inflationary costs of employees I’m sure you realize that you can hire people that speak Excellent English living in the Philippines, as most large corporations know the minimum wage in this country is literally pennies on the dollar and you would likely only need to part with $50 per week.

It's an alright shopping centre, could be better. There is not much seating round and it is a shame that you have to pay for parking there as well because at karingal hub there is a lot more seating available and you don't have to pay for parking at karingal hub. I prefer karingal hub because it is a lot better than bayside and I only go into bayside if I really have to or when my car is in at the mechanics like it is today

Locking disabled toilets. This is horrible! You realise it’s discriminatory to lock disabled toilets, this is something that needs to be urgently looked into. Unless your staff are prepared to clean up after someone with a disability that hasn’t been able to find a staff member with a key then the toilets should never be locked. Yes I am now aware you can purchase a key for $15 but this is not an option for someone with a disability or elderly in an urgent need for restroom then and there. I implore the centre management to reverse this action immediately it’s inhumane to treat anyone with a disability this way.

needs some work on accessibility for the disabled and security always seem to be chasing after someone for shoplifting. All that aside though theres a pretty good range of stores and cafes inside.

Good shopping centre, pity about the locals. Drugged out lunatics walking around the centre all day asking for money harassing everyone it’s a shame. I will not be going there again I actually hate the place.

Sprawling dump of a shopping centre with horrid parking, I visited today for the first time in a long time. Upon entering the car park, I proceeded to drive around for a while not seeing a single free car park and dodging all of the oversized vehicles that this carpark is definitely not designed for. I had to honk at a couple of people who were blocking traffic by both trying to reverse into the same parking bay at the same time, neither one was going to give up until I honked at them, thankfully one of them scarpered as soon as I did, then someone else drove straight into the parking spot. I ended up near the top of the parking area, after driving around many a far too tight corner and still not seeing a single free car park. Once I exited the parking area, I entered a small foyer which led to a stairwell that smelt of urine, after exiting that I found myself somehow close to Woolworths. After shopping at Woolworths, I returned to the urine stairwell and then to my car to drop off my shopping. I then returned to the urine stairwell and followed the signs towards Coles, including the sign that appears to tell you to go up, when you need to go down. Coles is a long, long, way from where I parked, basically in another shopping centre altogether. After shopping at Coles, I returned to the urine stairwell and then to my car, where I had to wait a few minutes for traffic to clear, before hearing someone hit something with their car very close to me, no surprise there, the accident stats for this place would be amazing. I backed out, drove forward and spent the next 10 minutes in a traffic jam due to the ridiculously poor design of the parking lot. Then I paid for the privilege, which is like paying to use the southern end of Eastlink even though you are driving at 40kph in stop/start traffic.

New to the area and looked forward to shopping at the Myer store as per signage! Couldn’t find the store and rang centre management to be told it closed in January!!!!!! Asked why sign was still showing and received a not very helpful sorry! False advertising is against the LAW.

Very boring and dreary shopping centre, 95% of the shops are boring. The only good shop is kmart and maybe target, it needs upgrading badly and what a stupid idea that you have to pay for parking. Karingal hub and fountain gate shopping centres are a lot better

Purchased year old scotch fillet steak from the Buther Club - at $54 a kilo (paid $16-+) . It was very tough - bbq’d at medium. The steak was tough & chewy. Very disappointed.

5 STARS - Great green grocer/deli, super fresh and very good prices. Aldi and Woolies right next door so easy to do weekly shopping MINUS 1STAR - should not pay for short stay parking :((. Parking should be free for the first 2 hours. I just visited the bank and still had to pay parking. If centre want to ensure only shoppers are using car park perhaps implement a “free first 2 hours” or a ticket validation for free parking when proven to be shopping at the centre.

Good size shipping centre spread over multiple blocks with inter connecting bridges on the 2nd floor parking is available on the top floor near Myers. Good selection of stores overall a good place to shop as not as crowded as Eastland and the like.

Bayside Centre: Located Across Road From Frankston Train Station. A Clean and Tidy Place for Business. Food Court, K-Mart, JB HI-FI, Book Stores, Telstra Store, West-Pac are some. A shopping center that is easily accessible. Bayside Shopping Centre Has Free Wifi.

Cant stand this place. Firstly you pay for parking - NO! The first 1-3 hours should be free. Then the layout is diabolical. Whoever planned this out needs a new job.

Kids smoking weed in the parent/baby change rooms. Weirdos dancing to music outside shops drinking alcohol. And strange guys staring at everyone and making them feel uncomfortable. We're not shopping here again.

Been here a number of times over the years. Wide variety of stores to choose from with some of them changing from time to time. Always reasonably clean and tidy. Couple of food courts available. Plenty of parking which one has to pay for except on Sundays. But can get busy at certain times like coming up to Christmas. Worthwhile to have a look around.

This is a smaller and therefore a quieter shopping centre compared to others in the area eg Southland. It has most things you would need and so sometimes l prefer to shop here.

Bayside is a great shopping centre. Big enough and with all relevant outlets. May be? the parking area needs a revamp as it looks "tired and tatty". Security is there and very much needed as every now and then some dubious characters are wondering around. We love shopping in Bayside Centre!

I went there twice in a day the first time I was locked in none of the gates would open. The second time I went the fire alarm was pulled and we got evacuated for the 3rd time in 2 weeks.
