Hours for Thursday and Friday are open till 9 pm but more then half stores are closed. Centre management needs to address this , it doesn’t happen at other shopping centres. What a waste of time to come here when things are closed at 5-6 pm

Simple and relatively quiet shopping centre. It’s gotten a bit of a facelift in recent times so definitely give it a go — the Loft on the top floor feels very trendy.

A good sized shopping centre with about 200 stores. Great selection of Asian stores, fruit & vegetables with some of the best prices around. The food court sadly had too many closed stores; more than any other shopping mall I've recently visited. However, the centre had a wonderful vibe, and busy. Would definitely come again, even though I'm not close.

Good selection of shops, ample under cover parking. More relaxed than some other places.

I took my 88 year old Greek Mum there to do some shopping, some banking, and to get her hair done. She's currently using a walker, having just had a hip replacement. Everything went beautifully. It was easy to get around, parking was free, and I couldn't help noticing how friendly all the other shoppers were. For instance one nice Chinese lady insisted Mum go ahead of her in the queue at Coles. Another shopper at the cafe we stopped at told us about her own encouraging experience getting a hip replacement. Forest Hill Chase seems to be a smaller shopping centre - by outer-suburb standards - but it's got everything. And it has a pleasant feel to it. At least that was my experience, as a guy from Richmond. 😎👍

A great Shopping Centre with so many choices of shops. The Centre is really compact considering the amount of retailers operating in this Shopping Centre. It is easy to park. The range of stores available makes it easy to do your complete shop without having to go to another Centre. I would rate it very high in shopping centres I have visited. You should give it a visit as you will be presently surprised on the quality of retailers at this Centre.

Forest Hill Chase shopping center is a very convenient shopping center in the center of forest hill. It has Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and Chinese groceries all on the same floor which makes it easy to shop for groceries. And the first floor has target, TK maxx and jbhifi for all your homewares and electronic goods. They’ve also renovated the top floor and brought many new restaurant options which has definitely brought a breath of new life to this amazing shopping center!

Large shopping centre that certainly caters to the local older demographic. Lots of fresh meat, fresh fruit and veg and international options. The usual large supermarkets are here too. Fashion is definitely aimed at an older market. Only complaint is that the lifts are often not working which is difficult because as among many I am caring for someone on a walker.

As a shopping centre it's great to grab our essentials. The only thing that disturbs me as a shopping centre pushing for a covid safe environment. If you are providing playgrounds there really should be a level of cleanliness that should be maintained for the children. This has been a constant level of dirt and dust clear from the lack of cleaning on the children's playground at the food court. Photos attached.

Forest Hill Chase was a very pleasant shopping experience. It reminds me of Southland because it is neither too big or too small - just the right size for a relaxed day out. Plenty of nice cafes and The Chase sports bar/dining room had a lovely casual ambiance. The food and drink were fine. Summing up - if you don't feel like the extreme crowds and hustle and bustle of the nearby Glen shopping centre go to Forest Hill Chase!

Parking availability is fantastic, never spending mindless loops driving around the lot to snag a park. Shops within close proximity to parking bay, very conveniently layered shopping centre.

The inside is not very attractive, old lifts n escalators that don’t function, old giant speed humps in the car park that don’t suit a shopping mall & not good for Modern day vehicles. The place has potential to attract lots of customers from leafy neighbouring suburbs if only they did some serious renovations . Lots of parking spots available too

I recently visited this shopping center and had a generally positive experience. The variety of stores and amenities available is impressive, and it's a great place for shopping during the day. However, I was a little disappointed when I visited for late-night shopping, as more than 80% of the shops had already closed by 6 pm. It would be wonderful if they could extend their late-night hours to accommodate those who prefer to shop in the evening. Overall, a great place for daytime shopping and leisure, but some improvements in late-night shopping hours would be appreciated.

If there is a zero or negative rating I would have given , the centre runs a lunar new year tote bag redemption for ver $75 spent , guess what with the whole load of T& C apparently can only redeemed on the day of purchase which I wasn’t aware and came back two days later the service desk just keep going like a broken recorder it is a T&C . we have spent a few couple of hundreds and no retailers have informed us and found out later and such a disappointment. We as customers trying to support the retailers in the centre and yet we have been treated like dirt , so disrespectful! P/S: lesson learnt ALWAYS CHECK THE T& C and never trust anyone as we have checked the TC ourselves and what a surprise, there is no such TC redemption must be on the day of purchase and the staff was checking on my mobile and shouldn’t she have the TC by heart ???? She was trying to brush it off to say it t is TC for MOST OTHER promotions ????? Stop being lazy and trying to assume all TC are similar across the promotions !!!! Plain lazy and such a bully the cost of the gift is negligible and the principle is not right and hope she will not the CEO of the centre if not the future of the centre will be doomed !!!

It looks so much cleaner than it has in the past which is really nice The Coles has a weird smell to it though stuffy Id describe it It’s merely the entrances around the place and probably the paint job of the classic yellow which needs re doing I’ll be honest the outside looks way outdated the roads re surfaced and lines re done this is from the Canterbury road entrance around the petrol stations the car park around the back needs the same attention

Going to the underground parking area is a nightmare, scrapped my cars front bumper because the ramp down is more narrow than a fast food drive thru. Avoid going to the underground car park near the side of Mahoneys Rd

Awesome place to shop with lots our variety to choose from. Some of the big brand are here. New addition is TK-Maxx if you want to get decent clothes with decent price. JB HiFi, Aldi, Coles and Wollies. The centre also have charging station for Electric cars. They are free chargers for now and always seems to be quite busy occupied by EV owners.

Very good shopping centre, with a great food court. I find Forest Hill to be unique as it houses some retailers not seen in any other mall in the neighbourhood such as Target, best and less, rivers etc.

I haven't been here in probably 12 years. Found a car park easy enough, and really it hasn't changed a great deal. Shops have moved and they've added new ones, but it was more or less how i remember it being. Good range of retailers and services, cinemas, food court etc. Even a kids play centre.

Walkways are narrow and obstacle filled. If you get stuck walking behind slow walkers it's difficult to get around them. Dowdy ambience. Good shops for very basics. Don't even bother if you need new shoes or clothes.

I come here fairly regularly and have done so for a number of years as my friends live in walking distance. It's a nice shopping centre not as big as the large ones but you can get most things that you need here. It has a good range of shops easy parking three different supermarkets a food hall eccetera

  • 5/5 Andrea K. 1 year ago on Google
Forest Hill Chase is still a good old-school shopping centre. It's small enough to get to know the people behind the counter and big enough to be able to spend some time just enjoying all it has to offer. It's unassuming and doesn't feel overwhelming. I also love that you can easily drive to an entrance on each level. The only thing l don't like is the smell from the fish shop that can sometimes permeate throughout the fresh food section of the centre. Positives include the newly refurbished food court, the excellent selection of places to get good coffee, the cinema on level three and the newsagents on level two.

Haven't played mini golf for a while so decided to come here for a hit on the weekend. 18 holes which quite varied. Definitely harder than it looks but fun. Some took a bit of patience 🤣. $35 adults but noticed a sign saying it's $20 on weekdays during the school holidays. The staff was friendly 🙂.

  • 3/5 Matthew C. 1 year ago on Google
I like Forest Hill in that there's no real draw to it - it's small, the shops aren't exciting and it has all the basics of supermarkets and cinema and a small but nice selection of restaurants and a food court. But my gosh, maintenance. Today there were THREE escalators that go from level 1 to 2 broken, and the lifts had a big queue so it was frustrating. The one in front of Coles has been broken for MONTHS, so there's no "it was an unlucky day" thing - they just really don't care enough to pay for them to be fixed I guess while they try to continually improve Level 3 to draw in young people (which, honestly, is pretty cool of them). But please, make it easy to walk around first!

  • 5/5 Minh T. 1 year ago on Google
Overall, it is a great place to hide from the rain on the weekends. The food and retail offerings are good, and you can spend all day walking around the area. The third level is where all your entertainment is at, with multiple restaurants serving a variety of different cultural foods, as well as an arcade and a bowling alley. The centre is kept well clean at most times, and for the adults there is a mini golf bar on the top floor to play while you get drunk! Would recommend if you have some time to kill for shopping.

  • 4/5 Titus B. 1 year ago on Google
Very good in having almost all essential businesses. Not crowded, you can easily walk around. Being new to this center was a bit of a challenge, i got lost sometimes but not for long, i could figure out my way eventually. My frequent shopping center.

I had to drop in to Spec-savers today and the shopping centre was looking really good. Parking is always easy. Not crowded at all although it was Sunday at around 2:30pm. It’s always nice at the Chase. Cheers

  • 3/5 Rae K. 2 years ago on Google
Forrest Hill has EVERYTHING you can possibly need! My only two complaints are... not enough benches scattered around the centre for people to rest. (It it a large centre)! And the HEATING always seems to be on!? I've noticed that the staff and other customers seem uncomfortable with the heating in the shopping centre. It's always OVERHEATED. So, if you like that kinda thing... it's the perfect place to shop. If you don't... especially with the mask wearing mandates, maybe choose another of the many shopping centres in the area.

  • 5/5 Deborah 1 year ago on Google
Have been going here for years, do enjoy the current variety of stores. And that it's never over crowded- great if have pram and or little kids. Mostly enjoy the expanding dining and entertainment area on top level.

Came to Forest Hill to use the NAB ATM and was hoping for a fast in and out experience. Parking was nice and quick, where I parked close to the entrance. One of the ATMs was out of function but they had another one I was able to use (smart ATM). I also decided to grab a top up of grocery products at Coles and it was nice and fast. Would like to experience the level 3 children's play centre next time and a restaurant or cafe to dine at as they look quite nice.

This shopping centre is a little smaller making it easy to find thing. I sometimes find it a little hard to get around but if you get to know it is easy to park near where you want to shop. It also has a nice cinema on the 3rd floor.

Medium sized shopping mall with a smallish food court. Three levels of shopping with three levels of car park. Car washing in the lowermost level towards Canterbury. Has Yang Yang, Colonial, Coles, Woolies, Target, Aldi, Rivers, JB, Rebel among others. Hoyts as well upstairs.

I was after JB Hifi and, despite the fact that this is a big multi-level shopping centre with lots of shops of all kinds, I found it quick. Lots of free parking at that time. I found the layout straight forward. My visit took 30 minutes so great.
