Emporium is a relativey new shopping centre, right in Melbourne's CBD. It is modern, luxurious, clean, and has a calm vibe. There is a great range of typically high-end shops, that is not for for everyone. On the top floor there is a rather big food court with a wide range of cuisines. Empourium is directly connected with MYER's on Burke Str, and with the Melbourne Central shopping centre, creating a shopping "village" in the CBD. Overall, a great place to be whille in the City.

gorgeous place, easy to find. Restaurant upstairs and a beautiful shop below - they sell candles to Asian snacks, cup noodles, and fine sake. They also had truffle beer and cute hand made music boxes. Worth a look around even if you don't buy anything.

Emporium Melbourne is a luxury shopping centre on the corner of Lonsdale and Swanston streets in Melbourne, Australia. Occupying the former Lonsdale Street site of Myer's Melbourne store, Emporium opened in 2014 following extensive redevelopment.

Large shopping mall with about 4 levels. The last level had exhibition room and recently had Neighborhood Earth exhibition. Such a good one for space enthusiasts. Restrooms in this mall are quite good especially for families. Change area for nappies is clean with papers as change mat provided. Bottle warmer also available amongst other obvious baby essentials. A good play area for the kids also inside. Well maintained place. Been to many and this tops the list. Retail therapy at it's best with all tastes available. Food court had wide variety of providers and reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Emporium Melbourne stands as a premier shopping destination, boasting a chic blend of high-end brands and unique boutiques. Its modern design creates a sophisticated atmosphere, complemented by diverse dining options. While the upscale offerings cater to discerning tastes, the vibrant energy and central location make it a must-visit for both locals and tourists seeking a luxurious retail and culinary experience.

A huge place with lots of big names if you are into big shopping. As a Melb weekend visitor, we had a very limited time to explore much of the place but the highlight of the quick visit was the food place in the LG called Thai Social where we had this delicious dessert.

Big mall with a mix of Australian and international brands. Really clean and spacious. Big food court that has lots of dining options. The mall is also well connected with other malls in the area, there’s an air bridge connecting them together which makes it convenient to travel between them.

Emporium Melbourne is home to one of the largest collections of Australian Designers, under one roof. There are variety of retail stores across different ranges at different levels. Since its opening, Emporium Melbourne has firmly established itself as the City’s preeminent shopping destination, an experience like no other. Close to Melbourne Central, State Library and famous RMIT University. A sublime fusion of design, food and fashion flows through the architectural veins of Emporium Melbourne. I think whoever comes to Melbourne, should visit this place at least once, especially if you are in the Central Business District.

Well, if you have got money, this is a fantastic place to spent it. All the fancy clothing brands are here. Even if you don't want to buy anything, this place is quite good for roaming around and reminding your eyes of the hundreds and thousands of colors that are on display. It can be a visual treat if you let it be. Also, there's Myer and H&M near the mall, there are other smaller stores too. There's something for everyone.

Amazing place to shopping in Melbourne. Not only emporium, there's lots of shopping centre around here. Must visit once when you traveling or living in this city. I feel very comfortable when I walk in and visit all the shops in this building. And also there's food court so you can have a meal whenever you feel hungry.

  • 4/5 Andrea R. 1 year ago on Google
Had great coffee in the food hall in the emporium then stayed on to have dumplings for lunch, and what great dumplings they were. Food choices always good. Right in the centre of Melbourne, so convenient. Close to trams, not too far from the stations, and great shopping near by

Worth visiting for serious shopping. Parking is next door at the Strand. There is a bubble tea shop in the basement.

  • 5/5 Kirby 1 year ago on Google
Really clean, well laid out and plenty of interactive info signs to help find specific stores. The food court looked great but we had already eaten so we didn't try anything there. Loved the level with EB Games etc, wish there were more stores like that instead of mostly fashion :)

  • 5/5 Anastasia L. 1 year ago on Google
Great central location for so many stores. Food court has many options. Facilities are clean and nice. Love the fact there's a space where you can bring your laptop and work with a view of the city; there are many power points and tables and chairs all free of charge for whoever wants to use them.

Very nice upmarket shopping complex. Spread out across 3 floors it has a really nice feel to it. The shops have changed over the years, but they are still great, and I would say catering towards the higher end of the market. A good place to browse even if you don't intend to buy.

  • 4/5 Kylie G. 11 months ago on Google
Every shop you could ever dream of. It's very large, making it quite easy to get lost. It was fun to walk around and see all the different shops and explore the venue. Great range of food court options too. Close to public transport.

  • 5/5 Bree T. 9 months ago on Google
Great place for shopping. if you want designer watches, clothes, shoes and makeup it's all here. The food court has so many great options! The Emporium have some of the best dessert places for dessert lovers! One of my favourite places to visit when I go city.

  • 4/5 Belinda H. 9 months ago on Google
Plenty of stores and services here. The cafe court doesn't have any cafes though, it is actually an Asian food court that smells very stongly of fish. So long as you aren't confused but that and expecting to find cafes instead it is a lovely place.

Emporium Melbourne is a large shopping center located in the heart of Melbourne's central business district. The center features a range of retailers, including both luxury and high-street brands, as well as a variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars. Great Shopping mall which sometimes makes you confusing where you actually are. Nevertheless lot of different shops from clothes to techniques and restaurants. You definitely can spend there several hours without getting bored. Another good thing is that it is connected to another big mall on the opposite site of the street.

Higher end shopping mall with lots of branded choices. Conveniently located at the city centre, easily accessible. Would recommend visiting if you are keen to shop for branded goods.

A cold and desolate place spawn from the excesses of consumerism ... Aside from the human zombies hopelessly trawling the unimaginative products; this place is uninhabitable to most living things ... Unless you're using it as a butchered thoroughfare; there is no reason to visit

  • 5/5 Shelli 6 months ago on Google
You can literally get lost easily if you are not familiar with the area. Great things are you can find variety of well-branded names for fashion, and many more. Modern layout and connecting bridges through Myer and David Jones stores.

Emporium Melbourne brings late night shopping to a whole new level. I have never encountered a shopping centre that closes as late as 11pm. It was great to see so many people still shopping so late, definitely a unique Melbourne shopping experience and one of the reasons its my favourite place to visit near Christmas time :)

Clean, plenty of space and fancy. Generally you know you are going to spend more in Emporium though. So if you are on a budget, best to avoid. There are however some very great shops in here and also some lovely restaurants as well as some great options in the food court.

Beautiful shopping centre in the heart of Melbourne. So many shops to choose from, including a lot of up market brands. Massive food court, which does get quite packed, with heaps of food options from low to high prices. Good for lunch time shopping or browsing and lunch.

I can't comment on the shopping aspect of Emporium, but I certainly can comment on the food court. One of, if not the, best food courts I have patronised. An excellent range of outlets and those that I visited were staffed by attentive, friendly, and helpful people. These aspects made our dining most enjoyable.

Decent range of shops but it can feel like a bit of a maze. The layout is simple enough but keeping track of what floor your on sometimes isn't. Great food court with more upscale kinds of fast food. Also home to a wonderful lolly shop with excellent service and a nice atmosphere.

  • 3/5 Allwyn J. 2 years ago on Google
They have a lot of stores in it. To be honest, i got kinda lost at a point and would recommend to visit with your friends to hangout. They have a shopping options, gaming section, food section, and beauty section too so one among the best places i visited.

It's nice place to shop. While some in Melbourne Cantral are closed due to covid 19, it's more convenient to just shop in Emporium.

  • 4/5 Crystal D. 2 years ago on Google
Great shopping centre. So much choice! Great location. 4 stars because if you want to park there be ready to pay 64 bucks for 3 hours. Cheaper if you buy something in emporium but still nuts. Train is the only way to go

A great shopping centre offering a range of different stores and food options. Emporium have also hosted a few different events, recently The Gingerbread Village and Fleurs de Villes. Strategic location, literally in the heart of the CBD and is connected to DJs, Myer, and Melbourne Central.

The place has lost its mojo after covid. Sad to see so many shops closedup. Live entertainment available during Christmas season was good.

Loved the gingerbread village by epicure. Like the shopping and cafe.

  • 4/5 Kris 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful shopping centre, but amenities are quite limited, there's no public seating outside of the food court on level 4?, very few places to sit and have a quick coffee, and so, so many places closed since covid has taken its toll, the only new tenant is the Genesis luxury auto showroom, which is where the old Nescafe shop was located.

This was such a beautiful hidden gem of a place, the atmosphere was beautiful with many great shop options to choose from. The only downside was how hard it was to locate the bathroom, it was honestly like a maze. Great otherwise and worth a visit!

This is a great complex. Especially if you have young children. There's a great baby change room with family toilet and ample baby change stations. There's a microwave and bottle warmer also. There are plenty of bins under change stations the room is well-lit everywhere. Within a secure fenced area there is a playspace serviced by three spacious feeding rooms and an interactive screen with lots of games. Great when you just need a break before moving on again.

Customer service team member at customer service desk determined with their agenda and unable to effectively communicate and listen. By not listening and demonstrating any form of understanding the staff member escalated the issue and then hung up on me on the phone. Really unwarranted, unprofessional and a terrible experience.
