Excellent shopping experience, clean and modern. Plenty of variety and the parking costs are low ( I think we paid $2 for 2 hours)

I love going to Victoria Gardens Shopping Centre because here I get everything (from ting to tong and ding to dong). The single best thing that VG could do you improve the shopping experience is to get rid of the "chuggers". So i would like to recommend this mall!!!

Home of my go-to Ikea, my go-to dentist and my go-to cinema, and there are some great food options like OMI and Local Hero Singapore. Parking is generally stress-free and it's easily accessible via the Victoria Street trams.

It's passable for the Richmond area I suppose, the selection of shops is decent for a medium sized shopping centre, but it doesn't have much else separating it from the mass of others, aside from the IKEA, as that appears to be the main reason why you'd come here in the first place. Also you would think that this place would have multiple floors of shops, but it doesn't, it's only reserved for one store.

Parking is an absolute rip off, $38 for a whole day considering I have spent more than $500 here. Only just exceeded the 6 hour mark & there was no empathy from the operator but shes right, I should have known. Definitely not a 1 shop stop shopping centre given the time limits - Next time I will be shopping elsewhere.

Small shopping centre with the very minimal basics like kmart, the useful Ikea, Coles, cinemas and some other cafes and retails. Could be renovated to include more stores, arcade centres, etc. Still has all the basics in Richmond though, so no complaints here. We'll maintained and clean. Free parking when you validate receipt of purchase at the ticket stations.

This is a great lil shopping centre. With Ikea available, it is a wonderful shopping centre to walk around. The only downfall is that there is no free parking close by. It is all paid parking, which is probably why I have never seen this centre busy.

A place of worship. A holy sanctuary. A serene ground in the middle of Hiroshima that attests to the power of hope over despair. This Cathedral is built with grace, simple but exquisite architecture. The roof is a sight to behold. A must visit when in Hiroshim

Getting parking and having the info center near disabled car park was a huge bonus. However the lack of restaurant(not cafes or food court) options only critique. Loved IKEA though

I like the the shopping centre. It includes many different shops and many restaurants. If you are looking for a place that includes famous shops you are in the right place. For example, you can find Ikea, Kmart, Coles, Daiso and many other shops. This shopping centre is located near the city. I really like it.

Absolutely a breath if fresh air. Food court fabulous variety and so clean. I cut myself badly on an IKEA display but the staff was amazing at making sure I was okay. Free parking and free trolleys were a bonus.

The parking fee is daylight robbery. The free 4-hour parking ticket you get from the shops is voided once you pass the 4-hour mark, so they will ask you to pay their rates which is $38 if you stay for more than 6 hrs. They won't make this clear even after all the complaints they get in regards to this issue because they're cashing in on this scam. Should be reported to ACCC. It literally says 4 hours free parking and that's it. No disclaimers or anything.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Victorian Gardens Shopping Centre, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location of the mall is fantastic, situated in a vibrant and easily accessible area, making it convenient for both locals and tourists alike. The food court at Victorian Gardens is definitely a highlight. It offers a wide range of culinary options to cater to various tastes and preferences. From fast food chains to ethnic cuisines and gourmet delights, there is something for everyone. I was impressed by the quality and variety of food available, and the dining experience was enjoyable. When it comes to clothing stores, Victorian Gardens offers a diverse selection of brands and styles. Whether you're looking for high-end fashion or affordable everyday wear, you'll find it here. The range of options caters to different budgets and fashion preferences, making it a one-stop destination for all your clothing needs. The presence of supermarkets within the shopping centre is an added convenience. It allows shoppers to easily pick up groceries and other essentials while they are already there. The supermarkets are well-stocked and provide a pleasant shopping experience. The atmosphere at Victorian Gardens is welcoming and inviting. The mall is spacious, well-lit, and beautifully designed. The layout is easy to navigate, and there are ample seating areas for shoppers to rest and relax. The surroundings of the shopping centre are also attractive, with well-maintained landscaping and pleasant outdoor spaces. Parking at Victorian Gardens is ample and hassle-free. There are plenty of parking spaces available, and the parking facilities are well-maintained and secure. I didn't have any trouble finding a spot during my visit, which added to the convenience of my shopping experience. Regarding transport options, Victorian Gardens is well-connected. It is easily accessible by public transportation, with bus stops and train stations and traams located nearby. The hours of operation at Victorian Gardens are also accommodating. The mall stays open for extended hours, allowing shoppers to visit at their convenience. Whether you're an early bird or prefer to shop in the evenings, you'll find the mall open and ready to serve your needs. Throughout my visit, I noticed that the mall was kept impeccably clean. The common areas, restrooms, and stores were all well-maintained and tidy, creating a pleasant environment for shoppers. For those looking for a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely dining experience, the cafes and restaurants at Victorian Gardens offer a great variety. From cozy coffee shops to trendy eateries, there is a wide range of options available to suit different tastes and moods. This shopping centre is home to some fantastic department stores. These stores offer a vast selection of products across various categories, including home goods, electronics, beauty, and more. It's a great place to find everything you need under one roof. I always find my experience at Victorian Gardens is incredibly positive. The location, food court, clothing stores, supermarkets, atmosphere, surroundings, parking, transport options, hours of operation, cleanliness, cafes, restaurants, and department stores all contributed to a delightful shopping experience. I would highly recommend a visit to Victorian Gardens for anyone looking for a top-notch shopping destination.

Horrible and Unfair parking system/rates. It's basically robbery to charge $8 for 5 hours when they provide FREE parking for 4 hours when you shop at IKEA. I spent $1000 at IKEA and was delayed by an hour. I offered to pay for the extra hour but they charge you for the WHOLE 5 hours, apparently it's the 'rules'. That's just ridiculous!!!!! If you offer the first 4 hours free then atleast have a justifiable system to charge for the extra hour ONLY. You are just making money off innocent customers.

Free 4 hours parking from IKEA is only valid for less than 4 hours duration. After 4 hours full parking fee is charged. Easy hack, exit before 4 hours duration, re-enter parking and purchase something else for $7 at IKEA to extend another 4 hours. Works out to be way cheaper than $38 for 6+ hours of parking.

Had to go here for IKEA, so skipped most of the rest of the centre by parking on level 2. If you buy something from IKEA you get 4 hours free parking, although I had trouble at the exit gate but there's a help button which calls a helpful lady who raised the boom for me.

It's a strange shopping centre at the best of times, but lockdowns are making it depressing. Daiso and the newsagents closing in the last few weeks has made this centre even more depressed than before. Coles changing it's hours without notifying customers leaves me recommending that at least for the time being, people go elsewhere.

My visit today was only to Ikea. I travelled there by tram and it was easy to access the shopping centre from the tramstop, near to the up escalator to Ikea on the first floor. There are many other shops, large and small, within the Centre. It also has large carpark areas below ground and at first floor level.

Great place to shop for furniture, styling decor and homewares as there’s IKEA, Adairs, Kmart, Freedom and other smaller retailers. It’s like you can find almost any item at any price. Parking is also not an issue and you can have lunch here either at IKEA or the food court.

  • 3/5 Kit W. 2 years ago on Google
As far as shopping centres go, Vic Gardens is a bit sad and unimpressive. There isn't much to see or do and the food court has limited options. I only really visit to drop by Kmart or IKEA. The Hoyts here is one of my favourite cinemas though.

We don't get to visit this shopping centre often, as it isn't close to home for us, but it's a wonderful place that we really enjoy when we do get to visit! Very convenient to have Ikea together with other major stores, such as Coles and Kmart, as well as a variety of other smaller stores. There is also a Hoyts cinema upstairs. There are lots of really great options for something to eat too! The Dumpling Chef and Roll'd restaurants are favourites! The toilets are modern and comfortable. I look forward to the next time we visit.

Excellent place within the inner skirt of the city. Has public transport on the door. Main advantage is IKEA. The shopping plaza is actually underrated. A bit confusing for parking though. Must recommend to shop here. And a short stroll to the river bank if you need some fresh moist air.

I liked this shopping centre. There are alot of stores and decent stock levels too. Good food options, nice brands to shop, cafes are nice too. On weekends and some weekdays, i have seen this getting very busy and crowded (unsure if its just me post covid feeling that) so just keep a mask handy if you are concerned on that front. But facilities are managed well in terms of cleanliness.

Great place to look around. It has a big parking lot. Maybe 2$ for 0-2 hours I'm not sure. If you buy something from Kmart or Ikea parking is free. Ikea is on the top floor. Kmart is open until 12. There is even a multiplex to watch movies. Kids can play games that are next to the movie section. Enjoy. 😍

  • 3/5 Sarah E. 1 year ago on Google
Great for a small, local shopping centre but the parking prices are ridiculous. Even with a purchase from one of the big shops you end up paying if you stay over 2 hours, so it doesn't encourage doing a shop as well as staying for lunch. I'm not surprised that the shops often change over as it doesn't encourage customers to stay and peruse.

What a rip off and a hassle being charged for parking at any time of day or night. I can understand doing it in peak hour to prevent it being used by commuters. But at 8pm on a Thursday night? Come on. And you can’t even pay at the exit gate, you have to carry the ticket around and find a machine. So vintage.

Pretty good, nice relaxed and chill vibe, you won't get overwhelmed or lost like you would at Chadstone or Melbourne Central. The fact that there's an IKEA upstairs is a much appreciated bonus too, there's not many of those in Melbourne at all, let alone in a shopping centre

The food court was amazing, I went to Coles for groceries,it turned out to to be a one-stop shopping experince. They have other stores around them;the butchery, seafood, wine and bakery stores were right there and they(Cole) let me use their shopping cart to go to all the other wine store and bakery etc. I also got their latte before I started shopping, which made for a relaxing shopping experience, I also went to Kmart with that cart and out of the shopping mall to my Uber ride 😅 Worked perfect for my first time tourist experience.Really nice girls at the "Cotton on" store, not so friendly at the Seed clothing store, they're all stuck up and ignore customers and their prices are through the roof!

This shopping centre is great for Ikea and a few other things. There is a Hoyts cinema. Parking is paid and the fees can be a little steep. Located in busy Richmond. That being said there is plenty of parking and public transport is an option. Shop wise,I would say this is a medium sized shopping centre with Kmart and a small food court.

Great spot with a variety of shops, Ikea the big draw card. Easy parking and get your parking pass from Ikea for free parking if you've been in there. Well worth the travel across town.

It has a big Ikea store. You would get 4 hours free parking if any purchase is made in Ikea. 1 hour free parking for selected stores.

Ladies toilet is not the best attraction for sure. They got some nice stores, with staples like Coles and Kmart. Worth a visit

Not the biggest shopping centre but definitely got a good range of shops including the most attractive, Ikea. Also has a cinema and decent food section. Overall, despite the size it's a good place to shop and visit.

Shopping at VS is a good and relaxed experience. You can walk around for the windows shopping, or buy something for your house, or even have some delicious food and drink from there.

Victoria Gardens Mall offers a pleasant shopping experience. Stylish stores, variety of brands, and good dining options. Spacious layout and modern ambiance. However, parking can get tight on busy days. Overall, a great spot for shopping and leisure.

You can hire a Go with the Gecko van or ute from the car park by downloading the go with the gecko app and easy as that. You can book n go. Vehicle hire made easy in a convenient location.

A decent shopping center but not amazing. Ikea is great and the Coles is a good one. Parking is good, and you can generally always find a spot, and Ikea, Coles and Hoyts will get you free/reduced parking. The Hoyts cinema is a good, but typical suburban center. The food court has a small, but excellent selection but plenty of seating. The Kmart is decent but a bit smaller than most. Cotton on brands are well represented, and there are a few specialty stores but overall the center is dwarfed compared to other areas like Camberwell, Preston, let alone Northland or Chadstone - but being able to pop in quickly and get what you need is a much better than those other places.

Getting a little busy with all the development that has happened in the last 10 years. My favourite shopping centre but she's due an upgrade.

Its all there is up here. But its a toy of a shopping 'centre'. Not enough and too early to close. Security is intrusive and chock full of brown boys filled with ego and needy for hero moves on poor, sick, hungry, not right in the head heroin enthusiasts. Especially Blonde, well dressed, polite and articulate H hobbyists. Who tend to write rambling reviews on Google; Data collecta or whatever this is. Who ever reads this stuff, anyways...
