Caulfield Plaza Shopping Centre

Shopping center

😐 This is a typical suburban mall. Anchor tenant is Coles with an Asian grocery shop, Commonwealth Bank and a whole host of Asian Eating places to cater for Monash students. The pizza shop sells pretty nice pizzas too. I normally park in the basement car park as there is internal access to the Plaza. People often mention Coles, shopping, shop, centre, shops, good, closed,

Caulfield Plaza Shopping Centre isn't really a Shopping Centre at all, it has a COLES which is not a good COLES at all in comparison to every other COLES I've ever been.. it has a Salon and a few different places to get Food This place is in major need of some actual Shops before they can call it a Shopping Centre...

All the restaurants have closed and relocated. Looks like they're developing the whole site

So many shops have closed here unfortunately. There Chemist is gone, prior an all you can eat Chinese Restaurant was there & other great places to eat. Most are gone & empty shop shells. It has your basics of Cole, Coles Bottle Shop, Fantastic Asian grocery shop & I think 2 maybe 3 food places to eat at. Damm shame as prior there was always a variety of different international styles of food. Ta😁

Wish Monash University would decide what to do with this place. It's becoming a ghost town with all the empty shops. Awful for the students.

75 seats are allowed under current restrictions, but theyre still gone. Its been a whole month now. Pathetic Monash Uni centre management are lazy and inept. In feb 2020 the seating was removed and didnt get put back until april 2021, Now theyre gone again. No where to sit for lunch, so I don't buy from your cafes. You're a cruel landlord to all the small businesses there,

This is one of the more older shopping centres in need of a bit of love in make-over but for some reason we like to stop by here. Perhaps for nostalgic reasons or parking is easy or there is a wide variety of restaurants serving different cuisine. Ot is next to Caulfield Railway Station.

One of the feel-good shopping centres with all most everything available for purchase. I go there every evening to get coffee and snacks for the job. It's very clean and mess free. Always there will be someone local neighbourhood who shares a smile.

It's ok, it got Coles otherwise it's not worth visiting

Small and very few shops, Don't think you can get your things done under one roof. May be good for quick shopping before you are waiting for train since it's very close to the train station but other than that it's below average shopping mall.I really think Caufield should have a larger mall than this near its train station.

It's a shopping centre I go to for the Coles, although the Coles is closing down so I won't need to go there much longer.

Old building but well kept and security guards always on patrol. Most shops are closing though so no variety. Good pizza place in there tho.

Since 1981 it has provided the essentials. After almost 42 years the centre closed on 30 th July 2023. The signs at the centre stated see you 2025. The centre will be updated. As a person who attended on opening day and the final day I will miss it. But from a business point of view it needs to be updated to be competitive. A new Coles supermarket operates at the nearby Caulfield Village.

dead dying place. coles isn't as bad as people say, better than any i've been in. fairly ok asian supermarket. bakery isn't bad, banh mi is decent - despite being in a half of a french style baguette rather than the vietnamese kind which is bizarre. hot dog rolls are good if a bit too flaky. seating decent. steal the coles wifi if you're out of data, it permeates the whole place.

Only went to Coles. Found it bit dark outside the entrance. Not a big deal but few shops were closed when I visited the market.

Not my favourite shopping precinct, but handy for staples if using Caulfield Station.

Great newsagents too and right next to Monash uni and trams, trains and buses.

This place could be so much more it is very outdated it needs upgrading and it could be so much better! This is a great Location for a small Local shopping spot, and yet it has so much passing trade as the caulfield station is Just across the road, Monash Uni is 2 steps Oway, and Thousands of newly built appartments that will bring crowds here! I say- redevelopment is due!

The plaza has shops that cover most of your daily needs, weekends are a bit quiet with many shops closed

For a very small shopping centre of approx 10 shops? Every shop is usefull. They got it right, who ever the real estate agent is for that plaza

Good for quick shopping trip but not much to browse. When I went in the afternoon many stores were closed or nearly empty

Convenient spot for a quick shop. Strangely laid out store but had most of what you need.

Walking into this place is like entering purgatory. Cold, dark and the sent depression in the air. All the shop keepers state into your soul beging for business. Just when you think it couldn't get any worse you go into the coles (worst in Melbourne) a labyrinth of disappointment . The lady at the bakery is nice and the donut was good.

Not the best place I have gone, the bottle shop is limited and overall its a bit average. The disabled toilets are also a bit difficult to get into.

I love going here for Coles and LiquorLand. They have a pharmacy and an Asian store also

Coles is just a disappointment. NO bakery, not a match to there other stores. Products or lack of them expensive. Staff are nice. I avoid the place. I surprised it's not shut down. I go to StKilda or Balaclava stores.

Quick & convenient , good bakery as an alternative to 7/11 for some variety for lunch or dinner

This shopping centre is on land waiting to be developed. Having Coles supermarket so close to the Caufield train station is super convenient. There's a pharmacy too.

Went to that superb gift shop opposite the supermarket grog shop. Spent an entire 9.90 got some adorable well made hair ties and a new change purse . Awesome staff great merchandising.

Lack of assisted checkouts is disappointing. Apart from this all was good...staff who did help were great but lack of staffed checkouts not good and will keep people away.

Will only go there when I absolutely have to. It is dark be and dingy. The Coles supermarket is it's only saving grace, thus the three stars. Nobody looks where they are going, either walking inside the centre or driving in the car park. Strictly enter at your own risk.
