Oakleigh Central is a medium sized shopping centre in the Oakleigh Shopping precinct. Free 2 hour Parking available under the centre and it's located close to Railways and Buses. Cole and Woolworths are right next to each other with lots of ancillary stores, bakers, Deli, Butcher, Greengrocer and some Cafes etc. Much less Asian stores than say Box Hill and Springvale so a fantastic range of European, especially Greek and Italian specialty stores reflecting the residents in the area. Great place to do your weekly shop as everything you need is here. Outside the shopping centre is the Oakleigh Shopping Precinct with hundreds of smaller shops, clothing, shoes, hairdressers, butchers, cafes and cakeshops, restaurants, chemists etc etc. During busy times this whole area can be insanely busy and difficult to find parking.

Hadn't been here but had something to collect nearby so we visited. This place has many food outlets, fashion stores, supermarkets, and in a first for me, a dog food vending machine! Lots of parking underneath, free for first 2 hours.

Variety of shopping requirements. A one-stop place, would stay longer, petty parking us charged after 2 hours.

Such a pity the council and the Govt keep interfering with this amazing food Centre. Great quality food, cakes, coffee everywhere. But spaces are over council regulated. Typical idiot politicians seeking their 30 seconds of fame and detracting from the quality, character and life of this great little spot ..

This is a small local indoor shopping precinct. Adjacent to well attended Greek style cafes, this shopping area is a local heartland. Needs a spruce up.

The vid two supermarkets are here, plus some hairdressers, bakeries, greengrocers, fishmonger, deli, bottle shop, cheap homewares shops. Plenty of parking, both undercover and outdoor. Never failed to find a park no matter how busy it gets, and your first 2 hours parking is free.

Great little complex of shops, consisting of Coles and Woollies, bakeries, delicatessens, fish monger, florist, hairdresser and chemist ect. I must say it does get very busy on a Saturday but there's ample parking with the centres undercover parking, get get everything under one roof, not to forget the wide variety of shops outside on the centre.

General ok for groceries and necessary services. Definitely needs attention to revamping, more parking, maybe extending and above all cleanliness.

Location is the best especially if you solely rely on public transport to get around. The shopping center is at the doorstep of the train station. Very convenient...

It is a very good forum. Will have almost anything you need for your groceries need. The location is also strategic.

I love Oakleigh. I hate finding a park and I hate leaving because of the traffic but when I'm in there shopping it's great.

Good shopping centre except car parking only free parking for 2 Hours only o think it should allowed for 3 Hours Minimum do you don't have rush out . Francis Jansz Visits Oakleigh Central every Monday for groceries but no time to have a coffee after shopping due to car parking .

Been coming here for awhile for my local grocery shopping. The escalator always seems to be broken or it always is clothes so you have to walk around the car park to the ramp. Only two options for shopping. Is Woolworths and Coles and a fruit market

It’s has the best Woolworth and Coles for anyone from south aisa (specially India). Why so ? It’s (both coles and Woolworth) have all the Indian food times one needs to survive without cooking hassle. MTR, Haldiram, ready to eat food, snacks, masala, paranthe, roti packs etc. It helped me survive my single living days in south eastern melbourne. Even now sometimes I come to buy myself some ready to eat or minute ready food items from Indian brands to make me nostalgic about those days.

Has everything under one roof. There is fruits & vegetables for all ethnicity. There is Woolworths,Coles and many more. Clean and not congested, a good place to shop.

  • 4/5 Siddharth K. 10 months ago on Google
Lots of options...for almost everything you are looking for available here. Ofc, not as big as Chadston... But lots of eating options just outside the mall makes it more appropriate!

The Lady at the Checkout at the Amcal Chemist was SO RUDE, wouldn't let me use cash and should not be working if she doesn't like Customers. The Lady in Millers was Lovely!

Covid safe measures? People go free willy nilly here, could be better security ensuring everyone entering is wearing a mask and qr coding in.

  • 4/5 Konstantin K. 1 year ago on Google
Good selection of stores, with Coles and Woolies present. Plus pharmacy and fresh vegetables store. The place may need a bit of an upgrade, but otherwise pretty good.

I haven't been there for a long tine .I did not relize its 2 hour free parking than you pay ...it took me over 10 mins to get out ..I could not find anyone to tell me where anything was so ended up having to pay $5.06 to get out (still wondering where they got the 6 cents from)

I helped an elderly man after he had fallen trying to get around a tape barrier at the escalator. Stop putting that dam make shift blockage there, some people also mistake it for a hand rail and go head over.

Needed shoe repairs & excellent 'Mr Minute' at Oakleigh Central. As I go infrequently quite like a wander around as often find bargains.

  • 4/5 Craig M. 1 year ago on Google
Oakleigh Central is fine for a middle range shopping centre but it could do with a major store e.g Big W or the like that would drive more traffic at times it can be a bit dead.

  • 4/5 Diary of a Pin Up - Bette F. 2 years ago on Google
The coles often have nice plants but the fruit & vege shop has lots of plants! Very reasonably priced. There's also very nice staff at Mister Minute.

  • 4/5 Ishtar2480 1 year ago on Google
pretty good, it's in an extremely convenient location if you catch public transport as it's where a lot of the train and bus routes connect in the south-east. My only criticisms are that everything besides Coles and wooloworths closes early and there's hardly any vegan options, including at the supermarkets

Went today. Had good shop at Woolworths and coffee afterwards at the muffin bar. Very nice girls serving. My son had iced coffee and granddaughter had toasted ham and cheese croissant and read a book. I like Oakleigh for shopping, but it's very popular these days.
