This big mall includes all the stores and brands you will be looking for. Kmart. Target. Aldi, Cole's, best and less and so on.

Walking through the shopping centre today I was absolutely delighted to see the nativity display. In a world today where the true meaning of Christmas is becoming more and more hidden and lost for the possibility of offending someone, with some shopping centres even going as far as removing the word "Christmas", I really commend you for sticking true to the meaning being the birth of Jesus Christ. I have shared this display far and wide on all social media channels and the sentiment that I feel is very much appreciated by many. Some, whom are not locals to Airport West have expressed there new desire to make it there local shopping centre. I Thank you and applaud you once again and I hope it becomes a re occurring scene every year. God bless you and Merry Christmas.

The mall is not so big for roaming around but best for a quick shop for anything you need. The best thing I like is that It is virtually all on the ground floor, so you dont have to buggerize around with escalators and lifts. Westfield Airport West is not a megamall like Highpoint but it is good for most things. Apart from speciality shops, the mall hosts Kmart, Target, best and Less, Harris Skarfe, JB Hi Fi, Ozmosis, Aldi, Woolies, Coles etc. Despite the lockdown, Westfield Airport West remains busy as its very convenient for transport. The updated timings are: The shopping centre is the terminus for the 59 tram, and it is a bus interchange. Parking is rarely a problem. Its well managed and it is always clean. Tenancy vacancies are rare. Apart from Coles and Woolworths, there is a large fruit shop, with a large range of fruits and vegetables at affordable prices. This mid-sized shopping centre serves its local area satisfactorily and always seems to be busy. By the way. the food court has a variety of cuisines, all at inexpensive prices. One is from the Heaps of famous brands & outlets, cinemas, beauty & wellbeing stores etc.

Too many similar shops. Body Catalyst stands out for it's exceptional customer service. Sadly lacking a woman's good dress store. If you're after a dress for a special occasion, don't come here. Lots of casual clothes though.

Free parking!!!!! Great thing about this shopping centre is that it is all one level and has a good variety of shops. It is great that there is a choice of Woolworths, Coles and Aldi under the one roof. Would love to see another cheap fruit and vegetable grocer there and a Big W!

Desperately in need of a makeover. Feels quite pov. Went to the cinemas, they’re old as well with old seats, rickety mechanisms that squeak when actioned like the curtains…good for a chuckle though.

Although there have been changes in retailers over the years, this Westfield has not changed since I was in high school, some 20 years back. It may need a renovation, it may even feel more modern if it upgraded. It may even be a spectacular shopping centre with another floor added, but the nostalgia for me is worth the visit everytime.

Will never come back for Santa pictures for Christmas. The girl behind the camera was not experienced, and couldn’t be bothered to take proper photos. Our family photos turned out really bad and we laid $49 for them with our eyes closed in majority of the photos! Asked to retake and she said no. We usually go to moonee ponds / highpoint but it was fully booked. Please don’t waste your money. It was a terrible experience.

Great sized shopping complex that isn't overwhelming like Chadstone. Close to the airport for short few hours in Melbourne that has Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Kmart and may good eats. Plenty of parking but not undercover sadly.

Roberto's butcher, amazing, friendly and helpful , On the photo, chack meat no bones slow cooked pot-roast. And to brag a little bit, served with ciabatta home made bread ... Also, like Asian shop near haris scarf, coffee place..

Westfield Airport West is alright, earning a 3-star rating from me. While it serves its purpose, I find myself wishing for a greater variety of shops. The food court, too, could use more options to enhance the overall shopping experience. It's decent but falls short of being the best in my book.

This centre needs more diversity in shops. The food court is terrible and basic. The village cinemas need a major renovation, seats are broken, carpet stinks, the toilets are disgusting. The centre needs a timezone or another entertainment attraction and a hairdresser

Great place for shoppers. Lots of branded shops are here. Your kids can enjoy it well. Quite large place to visit it full. People love to hang around. Lots of car parking facilities and very near to highway. Also offers 24 hours parking area. 59 tram service allows you access this location even from the city. It's also accessible through bus service. It's near to the Melbourne International Airport. You will love this market.

I am Not impressed with the designed of the mall .The 3 Main shopping Stores Eoolies Coles Aldi should have a closer access to the parkings ... It's always an expedition to go and buy something..Not practical at all..Not everybody want to spend hours in the mall just to buy your basics...And The fact that The back road parking entrance, is the same then access to the highway is a Huge mistake....always busy. No really disappointed with our closest shopping centre..

A lovely medium sized shopping centres located in Melbourne north western suburbs. Whilst smaller compared to other shopping centres such as high point and watergardens, this shopping centre has almost everything you need (maybe except a department store). The food court has a wide of options and the cinemas whilst older in style still serve their function and are a good place to go see films for a discounted price without the crowds. Most importantly this place is accessible by public transport and the staff are friendly.

Window shop or visit the stores and the eager staff will sort you out with the very latest in fashion, electronics, consumables. You name it they’ve got it and if not they’ll order it in.

  • 5/5 Brianna V. 2 years ago on Google
Nice medium sized shopping centre with usual amenities and specialty stores. Simple one level snake-like layout makes it hard to get lost in there because it just flows onward and not in a circle. Free parking. It can be a little hard to get parking close to the entrance during the day, so bear that in mind if that's an issue for you. The disabled parks always have a free spot every time I've gone, so if you have a disabled parking tag, I wouldn't worry. Also, the online Westfield map isn't the best at locating smaller and speciality stores on it, so if you are wanting to know where a store is, best to call the store directly and ask.

Yesterday 7/1/2022 after shopping at Westfield, Airport West I couldn't find my car. Three Westfield staff members sat me down and went searching for it, in the pouring rain. They then accompanied me, with umbrellas back to the car and waited until I'd 'settled in'. They returned my trolley and brought back the coin I'd used. Their attitude was incredibly positive - they were patient, had a sense of humour and although I apologized for my forgetfulness, using up their time and their getting drenched their helpfulness never waned. This little old lady is deeply grateful to all three and hope none caught a cold as a result of rendering me such personal assistance. Rita Camilleri

Large mall that contains all necessities and more - Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, Target, Kmart etc. Also has a Village Cinemas and an adequate food court along with your other various stores. Only complaint is that it can be difficult to get to via public transport, with only a few buses and a tram coming here.

Quite a big shopping complex now has most of your shopping needs covered, its your usual shopping complex, it's In the same league as a Epping Plaza, not as a Highpoint shopping centre, or Northland, as Epping does not have a Myer, or a David Jones, however it has pretty much everything else One would need to purchase, food, clothing, shoes, house hold items, electronic goods, in JB hi-fi, Kmart, Coles, Wollworths, a huge Fruit shop, cinema etc, the dinning situation is a let down though as it's way to small inside and not much in regards to choice of what to eat when your hungry, they do have a dedicated Nando's restaurant which is good, other than that, I recommend the place

  • 3/5 Joesf T. 2 years ago on Google
I went here because I wanted to try the new nene chicken that had opening specials ( the chicken was very good, if somewhat expensive so I was happy with that experience ) however I was disappointed to see many people walking around without masks and crowding into shops. So until the mask rule changes to legally allow you not to wear a mask I will shop elsewhere to avoid being caught up in a possible covid breakout which if the behavior I saw indicates could well happen here.

I only saw a little bit. Was alright. The little kids okay area near the Target is good. Lots of shops, cafes, etc. The parents room was a bit average. Clean. Just small. Decent amount of parking. It seemed very busy for a Sunday afternoon. It must be popular.

Airport West Westy! Car park is a bit tight and randomly laid-out, makes navigation a lottery until you know the section you're trying to get in/out of. The actual shopping centre is sooo long, bit of a pain really. You definitely have to pick which end you're after carefully.

Well appointed shopping center featuring leading supermarkets, specialty stores, major chain stores. They have a large cinema and medium sized food court. On roof top are some medical doctors and dentist. Plenty of car parking with mechanics and car washing businesses. Adjacent to the shopping center is a bar and bistro that has good pub food. Disability accessible. It is my go to shopping center for shopping.

Brilliant layout with every store you can think of to shop. Lovely food court, would love to see the seating area expanded though, it's always quite hard to find seating. I guess that's because of it's popularity. All shops are decently priced so can accommodate all types of shoppers.

  • 5/5 Anthony X. 1 year ago on Google
I wasn't there for long, as long as it took for my car to be readied, just over an hour. Anyway I had breakfast at McDonald's and went window shopping until I got the phone call from the mechanic. Much the same as other centres, brightly lit with more stores to tempt you than you can shake a stick at. Toilet facilities were rather good which is important to me. In my travels the US I was impressed at how clean and pleasant smelling their toilets were especially at fast food outlets with heavy traffic. Would be nice if shoppers were handed spending money on entering.

  • 1/5 Nicole F. 1 year ago on Google
I went there yesterday thinking it would be well air-conditioned (as most centres are, usually they're borderline freezing!) But this was not the case, it felt almost as hot as it did outside. The heat alone made for an extremely unpleasant shopping experience paired with the fact there seemed to only be ONE centre information guide in the whole plaza. The layout was confusing. This was my first time coming to airport West plaza and I don't plan on coming back.

  • 1/5 David G. 1 year ago on Google
Enough is enough. I find the shopping centre very stress full due to the fact that that what may have been big open wide corridors is now only in some spots only 2 meters wide because they have rented out the hall way. This may not seem like a big deal 2 meters sounds like a lot but if the shopping centre only gets a little bit busy that corridor can become very full very quickly. So parents with prams, people with trolleys it just becomes a dodge em game. If you look at Taylor’s lakes shopping centre they have very large corridors that make it easier to get from one side to the other. But west field have made it so tight it’s not funny it really needs to be changed. You may think this over the top until there is a safety hazard, when there is a panic and you need every one out individually in a hurry people will climb over the shoulders of others if there is a fire or some kind of panic and how are you suppose to be covid safe with you are force to be shoulder to shoulder trying to get to the next shop. It’s in my opinion they need to free up the corridors straight away they have made it so tight to move around it. Please make the hall ways big again.

For a local shopping centre when you don't want to be overwhelmed by Highpoint, Airport West is quite adequate. It has the main staples such as Woolworths, Coles and Aldi for groceries. K-mart and Target are the two main variety stores. JB hi-fi and EB Games for you electronics needs. Then a mixture of randoms. The food court is rather small and limited spacing. There are a lot of parking spaces surrounding the complex but it's quite cumbersome and clunky. For a quick gift or if you just need to pop in for something specific, it's a great place.

Plenty of parking space! Neat and tidy but yet there is room for improvements. Feel a long walk back from Nandos to Target if you don’t plan your shopping. Not much couches to rest for elders. It has a shelf for floating library but again no couches near by.

A nice sized shopping centre that caters for most needs. Good parking, public transport via tram or bus means it is easy to get to and easy to access. Nice mixture of cuisines at the food court and a good selection of major brand and private shops makes for a pleasant shopping experience. Shopping centre staff keep the place clean and tidy and the toilets were really nice.

I went in while I had some time before my flight, hoping to find some good deals at Westfield West Mall in Melbourne. However, it turned out to be a total waste of time. It could have been partly because most shops were closed at 5:30, even though the mall was open until 9 on that day.

Transit is stupidly integrated, had to walk over 5 minutes from the tram stop, and once I arrived, I saw nothing but cars. Parking should be reduced significantly. Food court was incredible though.

There is no option to give Zero rating . Arguably the WORST shopping carpark in history. Not only is it full of deep potholes, the biggest of which greets you at the main entrance to the carpark, which most likely famaged my car ( to be confirmed by my mechanic) but the line markings throughout are faded and in most part non existent. Not being of the area and here by necessary fee times per week now, obviously locals must have memorised the road markings from last time they were done (looks like 30!years ago) . Wild West tactics prevail, with people driving Willy Nilly in all directions and pedestrians risking their lives wondering why a motorist didn’t stop at the (faded )“pedestrians crossing “. This latter issue just happened to me today with a swearing Karen flapping her arms about. So good luck not getting sued for negligence by the public in this death trap you call a car park. P.S. the only clearing painted arrows and markings are those in front of McDonalds drive through. Funny that.

Not enough comfy seats for the elderly. We left early due to this. I don't need to call and reach out, seats need to be placed throughout the centre. I see others have complained about the lack of seating. I have just crossed it off my list, we can't return if seating is a problem.

Not to bad of a shopping centre for locals. Small cinema up top. Has most things. Only 1 decent sized food court. Long L shape, decent walk from one end to the other. Plenty of parking surrounding the shopping centre and up stairs car park. Worth a visit.

What's the policy with PETS in the center. Not working dogs like guide dogs or medical alert dogs. I understand medical and service dogs. But domestic pets in prams? Somone needs to police that as I do see them in the center and was going to bring mine in and that's why I am checking.

Lots of great stores, always freebies and deals on the Westfield app, and love the community engagement with local charities and organisations.

Not enough pram parking spots. In addition there are so many potholes in the park. Did not feel safe outside as there were so many random people hanging around in cars. Looks pretty dirty and rubbish everywhere.

Westfield airport West is a great place to shop it's got all the shops you need and it is very close to the airport about 10 or so minutes away from Melbourne airport

Good place to shop. But security are seriously rude, think they are better than everyone & watch everyone like a hawk. Makes you feel uncomfortable and just want to go knock them

It is a good place where you can find almost all kinds daily required stuff from grocery to clothes plus cinema for entertainment.

I think this place is very spacious. The food is great. I like that you have lots of shops to choose from and a cinema! What more could you possibly want?!

Pretty good setup. Always clean and not too noisy or busy like some other places. I go a bit out of my way to come here but it's worth it.

They have make this place more bicycle friendly, a safe well lit at main entrances bike lock up areas, not down the street or across the road or around the corner... when you coming to your bike from shopping you hope it hasn't been stolen or you have to get an uber back to your bike. You have to encourage people to ride to do shopping or with kids. Take a look at Barkly square

Had a wonderful experience with Westfield Airport West team member April who greeted me with a genuine friendly smile. I came to scan my Westfield membership app for the Daily instant prize and was happily surprised with a win. Thank you April for your wonderful customer service and very friendly greeting and chat. 10/10.
