Here is where we locals shops, all what is needed is here. Very good organized, such a clean and tidy... and the awesome aromatic smell around is just for the Malvern Central.

This place should be called "Mummy Central." Every second store is kids clothing & toys. Yawn. At the entrance there are two bedding stores. Yawn. Is this how dull Malvern really is? Give us some variety for God's sake. We aren't all breeders or boring Malvern mums in big cars and athleisure gear. Please close down some of the kids shops & put in some decent new stores. My friends and I only go in for groceries at Woolies. Definitely the most boring shopping centre in Melbourne!

It's the tight size for me. Love that I can get to David Jones without having to deal with Chadstone. And it is adjacent to a terrific strip shopping centre.

Good selection of stores, very well kept and clean. Excellent signage re: covid entry and exit points, with multiple QR codes for multiple people to enter seamlessly. Good lighting and space available to keep covid safe. Either no or difficult to find mall directory. Elevator available for wheelchair access. Plenty of seating in the foodcourt, and variety of cuisines. Overall a pleasant experience.

Lovely small shopping centre with everything you could need. Supermarket, fresh food, hair and beauty, retail, department store. Bonus is the parking is awesome and there is a great electric vehicle charger station in the centre car park and a car wash too. Best.

Easy to get to by train and tram. Wheelchair access and lifts to all levels. Huge range of shopping options from supermarkets to upscale fashion stores. Huge selection of coffee and eating options, was very busy on the day I was there and seating areas were full and the place had a nice buzz. Good option for families and friend groups/clubs to meet, eat and socialise. Highly recommended if you've never been, go check it out.

Somehow the landlord convinced DJ to take a lease here. Hope DJs got a big discount as it is just so out of place, and looked pretty empty. Malvern central used to be a good place to go if you wanted to avoid chadstone. Feels like the whole place is being propped up by woolies otherwise it would die pretty quick. They need to replace DJ with Big W or Target and somehow change the overall vibe of the place which is a bit of a downer.

Caters to yummy mummies, exclusively. Children run rampant - so don't get in the way of their satisfaction. Wish the Woolworths wasn't there. I don't do any other shopping there, but no choice. David Jones level is the same.

Malvern Central is a small shopping complex, with some specialty shops. You can shop fruit ,vegies, seafood, butcher bakery, and specialty bakery. There's also a Woollies within and David Jones along with a choice of cafes to sit down and enjoy a coffee and bite to eat. Very well maintained, clean and pleasant atmosphere.

A small shopping centre but has many shop you will need. The car park is easy to get in and out.

Smaller mall, a few good stores, clean toilets but the undercover parking is tight, and the small Woolworths and Coles supermarkets always seem full with slow checkouts.

I've boycotted the car park and therefore shopping with a trolley at Woolworths since number plate recognition was introduced. I miss Target and Len's the Butcher.

Plenty of nice shops. Places seem well maintained. David Jones is smaller but service isn't too bad.

Great customer service. We were able to find the shoe we’ve been looking for months. Their website was reliable and you just have to go get it as soon as it’s available as Click and collect doesn’t work when there’s less than 3 of a certain item.

One star for the middle class nightmare that has nothing for anyone, unless u happen to be a cashed up middle class housewife who's only interests are perfumes (David jones) or bland overpriced clothing (seed). The gateway to melbourne's east. The Prozac and opioid capital of Victoria!

Recognized for its friendly service, convenient parking and an assortment of eateries which offer a variety of cuisines. The overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a preferred shopping destination for locals.

The best shopping center in the area. The range of shops is very good with many focused on quality product delivery. Just a shame what when I needed a toilet, only one cubicle in the men's was available. Took ages for the guy before me to finish

Very confusing layout, not aided by a couple of visits. Poor or no signage. A good range of stores. Noted the Woolworths has increased prices compared to other locations! Poor selection of canine care products, specifically soap and conditioners.

  • 2/5 John P. 2 years ago on Google
Soon going to charge people to shop and park there. The travalators made no sense for direction confusing people and there are shops in front of escalatiors meaning you have no direction of escalatiors and no signs for lifts. Very bad planning.

Small shopping centre , but underpinned by woolworths and David Jones. Bit of a food court and a number of supporting retail outlets. Good parking

Small mall but parking is simple and enough stores to satisfy consumerist needs. Toilets are immaculate.

  • 4/5 Matt W. 2 years ago on Google
It's alright. I always like how clean and light it is. Bit of an odd mix of shops...more boutique if anything g which reflects the High St. I'd like some other food options and over three floors that shouldn't be difficult.

Malvern Central is a relatively small shopping centre with a range of stores. It is easy to find parking and a good choice if you want to shop in an area that doesn’t have too many people.

  • 3/5 Elvira E. 2 years ago on Google
Food court could do with some tweaking … a bit “same old franchises as everywhere else”. DJs has changed the food area for the worse and offer little by way of stock in cosmetics and everything else, for that matter. Not a good use of space in the layout. One of the better Woolworths in the area. Butcher excellent but expensive; grocer OK only, fishmonger better than OK but nothing to go out of one’s way for. A few ladies’ clothing shops are no better than barely passable. Bric a brac and bed linen shops Adairs and Bed Bath & Table are not the best version of themselves. Overall, mediocre aside from the Woolworths.

Good centre great shops, bit pricey

  • 2/5 Kim R. 2 years ago on Google
The only draw here is the David Jones. When that’s all you have you know things aren’t good. Better to spend your time and money at one of the many independent businesses close by.

  • 2/5 Giddyup J. 1 year ago on Google
A good centre for shopping but disappointed that they charge a min $25 to see Santa at the centre this year. Would have been a nice sway to thank they customers by making it free

It's alright. I only go there for the butcher, Boucher. The smell they spray in the centre is really not pleasant. Too soapy and chemical.

This is my one stop centre for everything - I am not a huge fan of big Centres like Chadstone, I think Malvern Central got it just right. David Jones, Hype Dc, Seed, amazing fresh food and butcher with a Woolworths for some things. Everything I need in one peaceful centre!

I normally have my lunch in this shopping center, it used to be a very nice place. But I been here serval times this months, during lunch time, I couldn’t see any cleaner around, all the tables and floors are dirty.
