South Melbourne Central is one of our favourite shopping centres because it's well located, has excellent undercover parking in which your first 2 hours are free, has a great Woolworths and is close to other stores we visit including Aldi and Australia Post both just across the road on Market Street and the South Melbourne Market. As well as stores like Woolworths, Spotlight, Medical Centre and an Amcal Pharmacy, it has a number of good coffee shops and for us is Degani, is our fave. South Melbourne Central is open 7 days a week.

Plenty underground parking. Food court. Done big names live here... (Across the road from Aldi)

Handy shopping across the road from South Melbourne market - there is plenty of under cover Parking over two levels, FREE for 2 hours. Woolworths, bakery, chemist, Spotlight, recreation gym and a couple of cafes and takeaway food cafes will satisfy those quick shopping requirements.

The woolies is good but does not have much in terms of international goods. I prefer the other woolies nearby. Also, many of the shops are now closed - might be due to COVID but there no info on how to contact them to obtain their services.

I love there much with a wide range of items you are interested inside the mall, good for fun anyway.

The car park is only 2 hours total per day. If you are 2.min past... you pay $12. Ridiculous especially if you use the gym there.

Absolutely fantastic place. Free parking for 2 hours, all under cover, access to Aldi, Dan Murphy, Woollies, Spotlight and the South Melbourne Market. The shops in the centre are limited but it's all you need for a bite to eat and coffee. I now go to this centre weekly.

They've got a great Woolies, 2 hours free parking, and tidy toilets.

I only visited the Spotlight store there and was pleased with the service and help from the staff.

I dig Spotlight but thats all.

I went to the haus of cosmetics . Bella and katrine were kindest ladies. I felt like i was a staff member they made me feel so comfortable . They looked after me . The treatment n service was excellent . Awsome pricing ... i love going to places where i here the raw honest thruth and i love seeing how staff members worked togeather . They bounced off each other .. and im very greatful bc i had a great chat which i haven't done for a long time and the girls made me smile laugh so hard..its what i actually really need .. so bless ladies thank you

Great little shopping centre. Good assortment of useful shops eg Woolworths and Drs. Plenty of FREE parking too.

I reckon this is a really weird little shopping centre. The vibe is all off. The upstairs bit where Spotlight is feels out of place..disjointed..disquieting. I really don't get this place. Please tear it down and start again.

Good shop, however was a bit light on the Asian ingredients and herbs. All that is to say I was passing through on the way to Dan Murphys and the position of the Coles, Pharmacy and ALDI were more than anything else, of sizable convenience. Nice area and well serviced by the local 12 line tram.

The spotlight store here is as always good for picking up dress up / seasonal gifts for the kids. It also has some great specials in the toy/creative section making it a popular stop for birthday gifts for our kids friends. Good assortment of art and craft. They also have regular sales on rugs and cushions. Great for Halloween. Woolworths downstairs stock plenty of Halloween costumes too. Parking underground and free for first 2 hours.

10 years now I've been shopping here too. Great friendly place, has a few speciality stores and most everyday items. Highly recommended

It is a shopping mall with two hours of free parking with number plate recognition which is good but it breaks down all the time which means a long queue of cars stuck in the car park which is bad.

Very handy, and 2hr free underground parking. Large Woolworths on site, as well as other facilities. Nice little café with seating 🙂 Also close to South Melbourne Market, Aldi & others.

Horrible to get to. (Traffic chaos everywhere) Horrible to get into. (Parking diabolical, and so many people walking where they liked it was dangerous to drive on the roads.) Messy, chaotic, and not a particularly pleasant experience . Won't be going back in a hurry, all things considered

Super market experience unsatisfactory! Opend at 7 to 8 for senior shoppers No rice,no pasta. Limited meat, no mince No toilet paper - would have thought to get at least 4 rolls, just essential shopping for 10 to 15 days unable to complete. Feel sorry for all the other disappointed shoppers, who left with nothing! Please thing this better through and have the store reasonable restocket. Disappointed experience .

For a medium sized shopping centre it's ok, the Woolworths is convenient if you need and it's not far from the Market.

Great local shopping mall where most businesses are open to the public on a daily basis. The recently revamped Woolworths supermarket has a sushi bar & cafe; also two dedicated short-term car parking places for 'Pick Up' orders. There's a great array of food outlets lining central plaza/court with a decent amount of seating available. Health services include a pharmacy & a family medical centre (week days only), as well as a fully-staffed gym. Beauty services include hair salon, nail bar, brow & lash studio. On the first floor is a large Spotlight store. Across the road in an associated building there's a Post Office, an Aldi supermarket & a Dan Murphy's. Free car parking (2 hours) underneath the centre where a car wash is also located.
