👍 Still relatively quiet, which could be a good thing, if you're trying to avoid the crowds. Semi bougie, though has a nice garden in the rear. People often mention parking, shops, great, shopping, nice, cinema, Great, park, area, Nice,

A very refined selection of shops that you won't find in too many other places, it's very easy to access both via walk and public transport. About half of the places here are closed on weekends though.

What a great example of a hotel. Friendly staff and helpful concierge. The room had a huge comfy bed with those sheets you just snuggle in. The parking was expensive but given the type of vehicle I have it was perfect. Plenty to do and see on Chapel street. Do yourself a favour.

Don't accidentally (or maybe even on purpose) park in here 😂 I'm not from the area and in a moment of absent mindedness I drove in thinking it was the Big W car park. By the time I worked out it wasn't/checked whether parking rates were the same as Bee Dubs, 10-15 minutes had passed and it cost me $17 to get out. 🙃

Gorgeous building, wowed upon entering. Most of the stores are closed at the moment so check in advance before coming. Looks very nice overall but the public toilets could use a facelift.

Great service. Very good people and easily accommodating. I had to change a third party booking at short notice and they found a solution very quickly. Made my group booking very easy. Rooms are quite large and quite funky.

In south yarra, it have choices of restaurants, cafes, shops, cinemas , the street parking is very hard to find, mostly 2 hrs parking next to it. You can park in como centre, if you are okay to pay. Most of the shops are open now. Cinemas as well. You can use public transport.Trams are in next door. South yarra station in 5 min walk..

A vestige of old South Yarra and is not so slowly dying off. Really not much here as the only thing holding on was the movie theater but now its gone. There is a Laurent for those with no taste, why when I can go to Tivoli rd??? There is so much more in the area now that this will most likely just end up as offices, which itself is not a bad thing.

Como Centre is always beautiful. The greatest problem is parking...normally however on this day find parking easily!

If you are dressed in boutique clothing you will be smiled at when served and noticeably treated nicer. Post office ladies ok as they see soany ppl just popping in so in trackies etc. All my nice clothes were stolen so I have a few tracksuit pants but can't dress nicely any more. Ppl are snobs,, rude. I ask for the time and ppl say no thank you like I just offered them my services. Worst area I've lived in.

The location of the business has a fresh look and smell. A modern facility, where commercial and some retail sales are available or can be leased.

Could do with many more food options. Half of the shops were shut or vacant

I have to say that what was once a magnificent majestic building full of people spending at high quality (& priced) shops, was almost totally empty. Covid has hit this place very hard. At least the open garden in the centre of the complex is still accessible and a lovely place you relax. One can only hope that circumstances prevail such that everyone can return to grandeur that has been enjoyed in the past.

Nice atmosphere with several setting areas . Very clean although female toilet door needs fixing, along with parts of the wall missing. Channel 10 studios within.

Never park in here. Went in here by mistake thinking it was the big W car park and literally spent 7-10min to go to a rental agency office and got charged 17 dollars. Total scam of a parking lot.

Como Centre was interesting when it first opened. Sadly it's now a ghost town, with only a few expensive clothing shops left. It's often hard to buy just a coffee there, with the venues having closed early. Only the Palace Cinemas are of any value in the Centre.

this is more about the parking. it cost 12 dollars for the time it took to note we were too far from the restaurant we were heading to on Toorak road -10 minutes. It was raining and one of us where on crutches. We turned straight back around and left. oh well

A seemingly well situated place with great easily accessible large parking area. Just kinda got confused with the emergency exit and carpark exit signs looking the same. The shopping and business areas seem clean and well organized. They have a huge and wonderfull garden on the 2nd floor where i saw people layed out with ceramic plates from one of the restaurants which was fantastic to do. Sadly a lot of retail spaces remained vacant and the meat place i searched for and was excited to try was a bit disappointing as many items on the menu were not available and the food preparation while nice looking did not seem flavorful.

  • 1/5 Andy R. 4 years ago on Google
The shopping centre is dying. It is a shadow of what it was like - when I used to go in the 90's it was fully let and full of people. Now most of the stores are empty; the 1st level seems blocked off and you can count the people in the mall on one hand most times. Not sure why many reviews say this place is great and buzzing? Looking at the floor I remember the floor tiles being the same 30 years ago - says it all really.

Last night, after coming out of the cinema my elderly parents forgot where they parked their car in the center. One of the night manager Ahmed helped them to find their car and also he fixed it because it had some mechanical issues. such a life saver, kind hearted young man. ?
