One of my favourite places for lunch in st Kilda! I think I’ve tried almost everything on the menu... I just have to find all the photos as o didn’t have all this in one sitting! 😂 Awesome place, so much outdoor tables and seats, staff are lovely and love the fact that you can order from your table 👏🏼 check out my photos. Food looks and tastes delicious even the burrito which is vegan!!!

Neither vegan nor vegetarian but a friend of ours was so we ended up here. Great flavours, I had the special which was a Japanese Curry with a croquette stuffed with roasted pumpkin (I think that's what it was!) Absolutely delicious. My wife had the Nasi Goreng and our friend had the Jack Black Burger that wasn't really black? Maybe I'm remembering wrong but all around yummy food with great textures. Ordered a soy flat white post dinner and it was amazing. St. Ali coffee, can't go wrong!

Wow! What a range of vegetarian food! And definitely a place to suit non vegetarians as the wide array of food will definitely satisfy all preferences. Asian through to Mexican inspired dishes. Great friendly service too! Indoor and outdoor seating available Will return to try more of the menu!

I’m writing this review on behalf of my friend who’s scrambled egg was a disappointment. We ordered from QR codes/app I (mushroom burger) and my friend ordered the scrambled eggs. There was an option for eggs or tofu eggs, she chose eggs. My friend who is not vegetarian was served tofu eggs. She told the server and he rudely told her “well that’s what you ordered” and abruptly walked away. My friend ate two fork’s worth and couldn’t continue as the taste was underwhelming (I’m being nice). We asked if it could be changed as it wasn’t what she originally ordered, they said yes but wouldn’t be free and would have ro pay. The rest of the service was pretty mediocre and we felt like because we had questioned something that they couldn’t be bothered with us. A shame really as my burger was really nice.

Went for dinner with friends, first time eating at a fully vegan restaurant and they did not dissapoint! Enjoyed a delicious (huge) burger and vegan cheesecake. Great atmosphere, service and delicious food, highly recommend. I will definitely be back.

My all-time favourite restaurant in Melbourne. Thank you for the healthy and delicious food, and always a warm welcome when I walk through the door 💛 Highly recommend the LSD (dandelion soy) drink - it's to die for! PS. I' will very happily change my 1⭐ review to 5⭐ as soon as Soul Sisters no longer discriminates based on vaccination status 🙏 A friendly suggestion to the business: please please please contact our local MP so that these rules are reversed and everyone can have access to this wonderful place. Big thank you.

Great little find! Lots of plant based dishes to choose from mostly with an Asian twist. We got the okinomiyaki to start, I had the zen bowl and 15 mushroom drink. Staff were friendly, dishes came out quickly and the interior design was stylish! Loved this place !

This place is just vegetarian and vegan heaven and our favourite spot in St.Kilda. Open from early morning till dinner it has some amazing variety of healthy vegan options and the menu keeps changing, so you can try something new every now and then. Breakfast / brunch options are plenty , smashed avocado toast is just next level ! You will also love speciality coffee and smoothies options. Service is very attentive and fast, they will get you sorted in no time. Don’t miss some cakes from cabinet ! Some nice treats there !

Four of us visited here last night. One of us had been many times before and insisted we go, despite my pleas to go non vegetarian. I'm so glad we went. We were lucky they had one table available due to a non show. The amazing smell of the food, the atmosphere, the man who looked after us with patience and humour as we dissected the menu and last but not least, the food itself. Every single dish was outstanding. Full of flavour and wonderful presentation. We shared the eggplant, the green dumplings, pancakes and the polenta chips for starters. Mains were Nasi Goreng and stir fries. If I lived in Melbourne, this would definitely be on my list of a regular place to visit whether you are a vegetarian or not..

I'm vegan and places like this just make me happy :)) also happy to see that the place is always busy (more people enjoys plant-based diet!!). Came for brunch on Sunday and ordered their Tofu Scambled on Toast. The texture is a bit too runny for my liking but taste is OK. Maybe I'll try other menu next time. Coffee was good, though! Wanted to get their muffin / banana bread but was already full. Next time! Service and ambiance were amazing.

Great vegan restaurant in St Kilda. Although the price is slightly higher than other restaurants, this place offers great selection of vegan food and also nice atmosphere. They have outdoors setting and it’s perfect during summer. I really liked the one I ordered and would love try their soba salad next time.

Sister of Soul is a fantastic spot to start your day in St Kilda. Their sunny outdoor seating creates a wonderful atmosphere, and the food, with its impeccable presentation and delicious flavours, won't disappoint. The diverse menu offers a range of options to suit every palate, and the service was very efficient. Preferably enjoy coming here here for lunch & dinner.

I wish all restaurant in St.were like this one , the waitress completely listened to me as i ordered GF,vegan ,oil free ,no soy , they bring the dish as i wish ,it was yummiest dish ever ,may not be the most delicious for every one as i remove some of ingredients, but they respectfully listened to me . I don't know how appropriate them , I hope you guys keep this quality every single day . I think other restaurant in St . Just think about money with zero quality of food .I've never seen a restaurant around all St like you guys.if i only come to st for food it would be the only place i get back in .

We enjoyed a mid week dinner here and although they don’t take bookings after 5pm, on this occasion we were lucky enough to get a table straight away. We had the Vietnamese Style Spring Rolls, Green Gyoza Dumplings, Okonomiyaki (Japanese Pancake), Spaghetti Bolognese and Red Falafel Bowl (from the specials list) The service was friendly and the food was super fresh! We especially liked the Spring Rolls and Spaghetti - with two out of the three of us not being vegetarian, you seriously did not notice the absence of meat here!

Visited over the weekend at the St Kilda branch of Sister of Soul. Service was a bit of a mixed bag as we were given menus when we first walked in but then had no one approach us for ages to take our order. Once ordered, our meals came out very quickly. I ordered the burrito which was dry, which I think the avocado on the side would have been better inside the wrap. My friends were happy with their meals, so I must have just had a dud. Once we finished, we had to wait a while again to ask for the bill. We tried many times to make eye contact with the servers but they just seemed to continuously walk past without notice until I raised by voice at one walking past to grab their attention, as eye contact was not enough. They split the bill which is good. Parking available on the street or just down the road at the Palais Theatre.

Friendly helpful waitress explained the scan QR code and order and pay online system which worked like a charm. A choice of about ten different mains made choosing a nice dish easy. We chose the nasi goreng and the greens with rice vermicelli. The food came quickly, was very tasty, well presented and a good amount and I couldn't fault anything. Price about $45 for the two dishes. We'll be back.

The food here is good and it’s definitely popular. The prices seem high to me and everything has an extra charge; for example if you order a burger and get fries instead of onion rings it’s another two bucks and if you want rice with the 20 dollar curry it’s another four bucks. They have drip coffee for four bucks but that doesn’t come with refills. If you get a cappuccino you’re looking at 7 bucks which is a few dollars higher than comparable restaurants in the area. Even when you leave you’re presented with an awkward screen about tipping where the staff is looking over at you. If you don’t want to tip (which isn’t custom in the area) you must decline and it’s uncomfortable.

Had lunch at Sister of Soul today, first time there, definitely won't be the last! Due to curent COVID restrictions, we were met at the door and instructed to scan a QR code to enter our details. Regardless of this, we were seated quickly. The waitress was friendly, and the service was timely. I ordered the udon soup, and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the serving. It was a tad spicier than I had anticipated, reading the menu didn't seem to indicate the spice level. The broth was packed full of flavour, and there were plenty of tasty vegetables. Although a little on the pricier side, it was well worth it. Delicious.

As an open minded eater rather than dedicated Vegan, I absolutely loved my experience. The food was beautiful and just the right size. The outstanding service matched the quality of the food. The staff were friendly and it was a pleasure to interact with them. This is now a 'go to' restaurant when I visit from the ACT again.

I had the red stir fry and Japanese pancake. Both were overflavoured, tasted like they were seasoned with ready-made sauces even if they weren't. I took one star off for the price vs quality. Didn't have the feeling of healthy food I wanted because of the heavy-handed, very salty sauces.

This restaurant located at St Kilda just behind the Luna Park has a menu of various vegan and vegetarian dishes. The dishes covers different kinds of cuisines: Italian, Mexican and South-east Asian. The ambience is perfect on any sunny day. The food was great and tasty. The staff are friendly. We loved the system of placing the order which is completely contact free by scanning the QR code for menu and placing the order through phone. A recommended place for vegetarian and vegan lovers! 🙂👍

Service is okay, vibe is good, food is very mediocre although vegetarian food is a great concept. The worst thing is they charge you 18% of surcharge without notifying you beforehand. An informed decision before swiping your card would make the whole experience much better. Wont go back again and recommend to anyone.

Arrived 11 am Sunday and was told no food until 11.30 am so we waited and had a coffee. Then when food menu was available was told only lunch menu no breakfast. Anyway, we ordered the burrito and was very nice. The oat milk coffee was good too. The hungry hungry online ordering system is terrible idea. Takes away from the enjoyment of going out to eat. Spent more time on our phones trying to order than socialising.

Most disgusting food I've had in my life. Like sure, I'm not vegan but still didn't think anyone could screw up smashed avo on toast. Also bought a mushroom toastie, even my dog wouldn't it eat, and he literally eats vomit. As for the toast itself? The lack of flavour aside, even the fork hated it (see pic attached) How the hell does a fork bend like that trying to pierce bread?! If this is what the "future" looks like, I'll stick to slaughtering and eating animals, thanks.

The vibe: very friendly happy staff. Cute set up with a natural vide to the restaurant. keep in mind this is a plant based restaurant. ✖️meat!!!! I didn’t know this when walking in as it was just the most coolest restaurant at St Kilda on the hottest day ever in history. 😅 What we ordered 3 x hand made chips with tomatoes sauce (credit for this) 1 x immunity smoothie (my Niece says it’s delicious) has ginger in it wasn’t a Winner for me 1 x lemon lime and bitters 1 x coke total cost $54.60 😦😳 totalling overpriced for what we ordered, perhaps public holiday charges applied, I don’t know as there wasn’t a sign I could see that said this and it wasn’t explained when seated or when paying the bill. We originally ordered the watermelon and mint smoothie but all sold out…😑 so had to order drinks we really didn’t want Full table service accept for payment. Gave us table water, poured ourselves though. What I rate about the place. The staff looked happy to be there and were super friendly and smiling and that was the highlight of the restaurant for us not being vegetarian or vegans. The food being served to other tables Looked amazing and little works of art on a plate. Recommend: the place was still really hot in the restaurant with the 2-3 air cons going. I think they need a service or a good clean because they weren’t going as well as they could have. Perhaps upgrade to newer one also, the brink walls looked a little dirty and could do with a brush to get rid of the dust building up. Overall super lovely staff and menu looked great if you are into vegetarian and vegan Options.

What an awesome vegetarian/ vegan restaurant! Delicious and well sized dishes! We got the Mei Gorien with egg and the Jack fruit Borrito. Both were so yummy!! I tried the apple crumble cocktail and it was I think the stand out for me! Absolutely delicious!! Prices were pretty decent however I would say slightly on the higher side. $20-$30 for a main. Service was really friendly and the restaurant had a lovely, bright, and relaxed atmosphere.

A nice place for a vegetarian breakfast. The place was pretty empty, in the morning. It is located in corner so it is ok. We had the big breakfast. The food was nice. Really felt like a home cook meal with some elevating touches. The vegetarian elements on the dish were really good. The prices were very reasonable. The service staff, could have been more friendlier.

We were blown away from the delicious linguini with bolognese! It tasted so real, kinda like your own mother cooked it. The food was so good that we came back few days later and as before we weren’t disappointed by the delicious food.

A great find using broadsheet as our search engine for eating places in St Kilda. Great table service with very helpful people who knew their product. Presentation was well beyond our expectations as was the quality of produce and cooking. So good I found the chef to say how ,u h we enjoyed lunch.

Great if you’re around St Kilda Beach & want healthy or vegan options. Indoor / outdoor dining, music, beach atmosphere, good vibes. Ben & Jerry’s across the road for dessert after.

The coffee was delicious and so was the big breakfast I had 💚 Many vegan and gluten free options. The staff were lovely and accommodating. Next time I want to try their pancake 🤤

Awesome place for people with dietary restrictions (Vegan or Vegetarian). Excellent food and drink options. It’s one of the gem in Ackland St. Easily accessible via public transport (Tram 96 from Southern cross) Staff and their hospitality is heavenly. Food is Yummm 😋 🤤

Absolutely delicious food! The pasta was exactly what you'd expect from a vegan bolognese, and the burrito was one of the best I've had. The eggplant however was a surprise favourite and we are so glad we ordered it. Great atmosphere too!

What a great place! Came here with two other people for the first time and really loved the vibe of the place. It seems like it must be pretty busy as most tables were taken and it had a friendly hum to it. The staff were really welcoming. Aside from needing to get their attention a couple of times to speed up service they were amazing. They had a reasonable range of options to cater for different dietary needs. Even though we needed vego and gluten free meals to share, we were still able to find a couple of really tasty meals. Once the food was ordered it was quick to come out and was REALLY delicious. I will definately be coming back if I'm in the area again!
