Second
time
we've
eaten
here.
Great
local
restaurant
with
a
menu
that's
a
little
different
and
unusual.
Our
group
of
6
went
on
a
Monday
night
and
we're
seated
in
an
area
of
our
choosing
as
the
original
bench/booth
type
seating
was
too
difficult
for
my
elderly
parents
to
get
in
and
out
of.
We
ordered
one
Entré
to
share,
the
lamb
ribs
which
were
absolutely
delicious.
Tender
and
tasty
with
a
delicious
crust.
It
was
supposed
to
come
with
preserved
lemon
but
there
was
no
evidence
of
it.
We
ordered
a
range
of
mains
from
Sliders,
Burgers,
Schnitzel
and
Eye
fillet.
All
our
dishes
came
with
really
good
fresh
chips.
Everyone
commented
on
how
much
they
enjoyed
their
burgers
which
all
had
a
bit
of
a
twist.
(
Monday
is
Burger
night
and
there
is
quite
a
selection
as
well
as
the
standard
menu).
The
Eye
fillet
was
a
beautiful,
generous,
tasty
cut
but
was
unfortunately
overcooked.
It
was
ordered
medium
rare
with
a
crust,
but
was
well
and
truly
medium
and
tending
to
dry.
The
staff
were
very
solicitous
and
offered
to
redo
the
steak
which
we
declined
as
it
would
have
taken
way
too
long.
It
was
ordered
with
the
red
wine
jus
and
also
the
mushroom
sauce,
on
the
side,
which
the
very
helpful
girl
who
was
serving
our
group
was
only
too
happy
to
accommodate.
Both
sauces
were
excellent.
As
we
were
all
quite
full
we
only
ordered
one
dessert,
the
"Tasting
Platter"
which
was
a
beautifully
plated
wooden
platter
with
a
Chocolate
Fondant/Lava
Cake,
Strawberry
and
Chocolate
Mousse,
choc
mint
crumble,
berries,
Apple
&
Calvados
Sorbet,
Espresso
ice
cream
and
decorated
with
some
edible
flowers.
It
all
looked
great
and
tasted
as
good
as
it
looks!
Highlights
of
the
meals
were
the
Morrocan
Honey
Lamb
ribs,
the
Apple
Calvados
Sorbet
and
the
Espresso
ice
cream.
Apart
from
the
miss
with
the
Eye
Fillet
and
the
slightly
Bland
Schnitzel
we
all
enjoyed
our
meals,
the
lovely
freindly
staff
and
the
atmosphere.
Will
definitely
return!
