Friends asked me to find a place for dinner and I’ve found this place. Everyone applauds my decision given all the dishes we ordered were so magnificent. Well flavoured, the ingredients were all fresh. We ended up ordered twice more as the portion is relatively smaller than expected and that’s the only thing if you think there is a place for improvement. Gonna come back again! My personal rating for this place is 4.8.

Ordered takeaway during lockdown and was super impressed. Fantastic flavour and great portion sizes. Maybe they have changed their chef in the last few years because it was much better than I remembered from visiting previously. Pleasantly surprised.

Food was deliciously cooked and beautifully presented. The owner of the restaurant took the trouble to explain their specials, what they could do about the portions, and where we could get alcohol (as they are not licensed). Service was really quick and even though the restaurant was full we didn't feel rushed so we really enjoyed it.

Family gathering for a birthday. John was a great host. Suggested a selection of entrees which were spot on. Our main meals were really good and the service was fantastic. Definitely coming back.

This place is always good, wild mushrooms/truffle risotto is absolutely delicious. Great service, great atmosphere, always great specials up on the board, fair pricing, good portions. A real hidden gem out in the suburbs.

We have been going to il Sogno for years. The food is always excellent, and the service is great. Our favourite restaurant for a dinner for the two of us or with friends.

Food was amazing. Chicken saltimboca was juicy and well seasoned. Arancini was crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Do be mindful that they are a BYO only restaurant, so you'll need to bring your own bottle of wine. Thank you for a lovely dinner. We'll be seeing you again.

Always reliable...great quality food at what I think are reasonable prices, particularly considering it's BYO. One of our go to restaurants in the area.

My parents have always raved about this cute Italian restaurant with a chef who deserves 3 Hats and it didn't disappoint...took my mum out for her birthday dinner...absolutely amazing food! So pleased to see Surrey Hills with such quality restaurant options :)

The food was fantastic. Shared a set of arancini balls to start, followed by the lamb shank special which was decadent and rich. Finished it off with an amazing desert of vanilla crepes, filled with salted caramel, topped with fresh strawberries and vanilla bean ice cream.

Super nice place with tons of nice food. The waiting was quite long but overall it was an amazing and amazing place plus experience!!!
