Italian food doesn’t get much better then this. Came here on a Google Local Guide recommendation and wasn’t disappointed. Located at the south end of Tunstall square with plenty of parking out the front this place was busy at 6.15pm on a Saturday night and stayed that way during my stay. The lovely waiter told me the specials and took the order a few months later - the special of the day was I order which was ravioli with a deliciously tasty sauce. Cheese and garlic bread was also ordered. Fabulous menu with a variety of choices for everyone of every age. Food came out quickly. Service was great. The table next to me had three seatings in the time I was there. This place is wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Take away available.

Just had a fantastic experience at Saporito Italian restaurant! The Torino woodfire pizza was absolutely amazing. The flavors were exquisite, and the crust was perfectly crispy. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance was delightful. I can't wait to go back for more culinary delights. A definite 5-star dining experience!

Great service, waiters are super friendly and helpful. Calamari was cooked perfectly and the mains were cooked authentically and full of flavour. Very good value for money. My new favourite restaurant

Definitely a great place for absolutely traditional and exceptional Italian food. Sooo friendly and professional. A local hidden gem! When you search for local Italian restaurant, pizza forno might comes up, as they got a bigger venue, however the business is running by some Chinese owner. Why picked Italian food🙄. Anyway, avoid that one if you can for your money wise-spending sake. Enough of typing, I need to focus on my food now. Grazies!

Great service, nice atmosphere and decent portion sizes. I’ve had better calamari but it had a really nice flavour though not super crispy. The pasta however was a bit plain and relied on the protein mixed into the dishes to be tasty, the dishes were still enjoyable though. One pasta dish also came considerably less hot. Those would be my only criticisms but I’d recommend giving this place a try for sure.

I recently ordered pollo pizza from saporito the order maintained their flavors remarkably well, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality even for takeout. The portions were generous, providing a satisfying and indulgent meal at home.

I had a very great night with my family at Saporito, the food was amazing and the servic was fantastic. I really looking forward to come back soon.

Fresh food, wide menu selection, efficient/great service, cozy ambiance! Was able to accommodate on a short notice a reservation for a big crowd for our team dinner during our visit to Melbourne for the annual Nunawading Spectres Tournament. Kids and adults had a great and relaxing time!

Do not order from this restaurant, avoid it and save your money! I ordered a chicken parmigiana that was delivered uncooked. It was an odd browny/ grey/ pink colour. I called the restaurant and was met by someone who was only concerned in telling me the kitchen was closed and that I need to go to Uber. No care at all. Do yourself a BIG favour and avoid this place.

We went here for dinner before a show. Whilst the staff were friendly, they forgot 3 items that we ordered and we had to remind the staff multiple times what we had ordered. Our food was late (one pizza forgotten about) and we had to eat quickly to make our show They also charged us for a pizza we did not order. There were seven of us and 5 ordered pizza, each ordered a different pizza. We were charged twice for the pizza they forgot Would not return here

Came here on a Tuesday evening with the family and the place was quite busy around 6pm with a couple of large tables. The staff were friendly but it seemed like they may have been understaffed that evening considering the number of customers. We ordered 3 large pizzas to share which came out pretty quickly and they were quite tasty. Would be happy to come back again.

Tonight we went for the first time the restaurant has a very warm, friendly atmosphere. The Calamari Fritti were amazing so tender they melted in your mouth. And my husband enjoyed the pasta ....which is great as he can be fussy. Will go again and bring the family!

Really looked forward to returning here after COVID but so disappointed with our visit tonight. Food was ok but the service was very poor. Young girl who was meant to be out waitress spent the night chatting to her friends at an outside table and ignored us. Dirty dishes were left on our table after our entree which I packed up myself and she ended up pulling up a chair to her friends table and talking while our empty main meal dishes were left on our table. They were still there when we left. Won’t be comeback anytime soon.

Asked for special request and got exactly what i wanted. Amazing combination of vegetables beautifully cooked, really enjoyed its a hidden gem when it comes to pizzas.

Pizza was eatable but the Matriciana and Pollo Funghi rissotto was not good at all. We had a few bites and left. I am not going here again.
