Revised
4*
review:
18/06/2020:
Brunelli
is
back
open
with
restricted
seating
because
of
Corona
Virus.
Bookings
are
definitely
needed
as
there
are
only
6
or
so
tables
available
at
any
time.
Original
4*
review.
We've
eaten
here
several
times
over
the
last
10
or
more
years.
Brunellis
always
seems
to
be
busy
which
is
a
good
sign
for
a
smallish
local
suburban
restaurant.
We
went
on
a
Wednesday
night
and
the
place
was
at
least
80%
full,
but
our
party
of
5
was
comfortably
and
promptly
accomodated.
Clean
modern
styling
in
the
restaurant,
even
the
toilets
were
modern
and
spotless.
Environment
wise
only
complaint
was
it
was
a
bit
cold
inside
and
we
all
spent
the
2
or
so
hours
or
so
we
were
there
with
our
jackets
on.
Ordered
mains,
salads
and
entrés
as
mains
as
well
as
a
few
desserts.
Everything
was
delicious,
and
as
the
waitress
explained
when
I
tried
to
order
one
of
the
Stracceti
di
Manzo
(
Strip
Fillet
Steak
with
red
peppers)
entrés
that
the
entrés
were
very
large
and
unless
I
was
ravenous,
should
be
sufficient.
She
was
right,
they
were
huge!
We
also
had
a
seafood
salad,
Mushroom
Veal,
a
Pasta
dish
and
a
very
large
Greek
Salad.
Panna
Cotta,
and
a
Sticky
Date
for
Dessert.
All
the
dishes
were
generous
serves
and
attractively
plated.
We
sampled
several
of
their
wines
by
the
glass,
all
were
delicious,
especially
the
Loose
Leaf
CabSav.
All
were,
we
think,
reasonably
priced
at
$8
a
glass.
The
waiters
were
friendly
and
attentive,
without
being
clingy
and
gave
knowledgeable
advice
about
the
meals
we
ordered.
Only
things
not
giving
a
5
star
was
that
my
mother's
main
dish
was
forgotten,
and
had
to
be
requested
again
as
the
rest
of
the
group
were
half
way
through
their
mains
when
we
realised
her
dish
was
not
coming.
Staff
were
very
apologetic
and
the
main
arrived
in
less
than
5
minutes.
They
also
offered
us
a
free
dessert
along
with
their
apologies.
We
enjoyed
our
meal
and
drinks
and
will
definitely
be
back
again
