4.3 Oh me, oh my. What a fabulous cafe restaurant we have tucked away here. I lived around here many moons ago. The number of good cafes it had at that time was zilch. Zero. Nil. None. Take your pick of word. There was nought of note here. But, boy, things have changed. Olive Lane is easily the best cafe in the area on what I’ve experienced. It’s modern. It’s pleasing to the eye. Pleasing to the palate as well. It’s well run too. The look is modern chic here. It’s not overdone and the cafe is pleasantly fitted out. There are good indoor and outdoor areas. Service was charming throughout. Harmonious, efficient and pleasant with a good team atmosphere. There was a great R&B mix on, black panther soundtrack excerpts and the like. The mellow stuff not the gangsta stuff. It went down well and also importantly didn’t spook any of the older customers. My coffee to start was lovely. A good solid long black which was well made and well served. I ordered lamb shoulder for my lunch. It may be the best lamb I’ve ever had. Soft and full of moisture. Full of flavour with a gorgeous lemony tang. The meat was gently falling off the bone. It was an utterly beautiful dish. I’d cross any number of suburbs to eat lamb this good. Every mouthful was amazing. I didn’t fancy the menu listed potatoes and asked for a salad in lieu. It was a lovely little Greek salad I chose. It became more and more delicious as I had it. A beautifully composed and balanced salad. Every element was superb with just the right mix of oil. It was a tiny bit pricey here but it’s all quality. On paying I discovered there was no direct swap, potatoes for salad, as I’d hoped so the meal cost me more than I had anticipated. I should have queried it, I suppose, or clarified the matter when ordering. It’s a very good cafe though and I’ll long have memories of that exceptional lamb dish.

Great food and great service. Greek coffee great. Food full of flavour. Service very friendly and attentive.

Every time I travel to this area, I will stap here for brunch. Great coffee. Great food. Great service. Always....

New cafe in the area :) a really cute spot with nice dining space and fresh vibes Came here on a Sunday to enjoy a morning out and some good food. Cant say I was blown away by the food. It was pretty tasty and looked spectacular but for its price point was typical for brunch. A bit underwhelmed by the coffee - was expecting a little better. Staff overall were pretty nice and helpful but unfortunately when taking away the dishes, one managed to drop a knife and fork over a companions jacket (accidentally but still..) Nice place to check out when in the area nevertheless :)

Dropped in to Olive Lane whilst in the area on business. Wasn't very hungry so I ordered the Housemade Chicken & Mushroom Pita & a mini Kok & dbl shot mocha. All was delicious 😋 Definitely returning to try some of the other yummy Greek dishes... The service was excellent & very professional 👏

A nice indoor outdoor setting cafe. Good service and menu selection. Modern open kitchen with friendly staff. Good size meals with a wide selection of deserts. It is popular so choose your times so not to disappoint. Another venue to return to on my list.

Pretty much a new go to Greek cafe. Affordable, very good Greek staples such as octopus and moussaka. Lot of Greek families having Sunday lunch is also solid recommendation

I had the pork suvlaki today. Given I’ve never even heard of a pork suvlaki I was pleasantly surprised. It was really yum!

Just found this gem by accident ! Had the best meals and coffee...... highly recommend the wild mushroom scrambled eggs and the avo smash...great service too !! Will definitely visit again 😋

The staff were all super friendly and attentive and the variety on the menu was spoiling us for choice. We didn’t make a booking but we’re sat at a table next to the service door which wasn’t great as the staff were constantly going in and out of it but not a huge deal. The open plates are fantastic, I ordered the chicken which was full of flavour but a little bit dry, I was a bit jealous of the halloumi open plate so I’m keen to go back to try it!

This covered this place recently. Came here for lunch and was greeted by super friendly staff in an relaxed atmosphere. Coffee was great and the buttermilk chicken burger I ordered was delicious. Probably one of my favourite chicken burgers now. I will definitely be returning to try other foods on their menu. They also sell cakes and sweets at the front for next time. Would recommend for anyone living in the area or passing through.

Olive Lane is fantastic! The staff are wonderful and the food is lovely. My family have been coming here for many years and we have never been disappointed. The chicken souvlaki is the best we have ever had, the lemon herb and chicken salad has so much flavour. We love their coffee and breakfast menue. We often buy their salads and cheese or cheese and spinach pies to take home. They are so good. Great atmosphere, great place!!!!

I'm quite a tough marker when it comes to food and where to get it. These guys keep it simple, fresh and in the family. I think mum, dad and daughter were working the day I stopped in for breakfast. Well actually, I was just after a drink, but after the smile I got at the counter, a look at the meals coming from the kitchen, and a prompt from the warm and inviting host (dad i think), I decided to order. I will let the photos say the rest.

Thank you, Christine and team, for a lovely catered lunch! We ordered a few dishes for pick up, and Olive Lane were a delight to communicate with. On the day, we requested an earlier time for collection, and they did everything to meet our needs. The food (especially lamb sliders) was so flavourful! Yummmm! Again, thanks Olive Lane 💞

As regular customers, we love the food and the atmosphere. Christine goes above and beyond and makes us feel like the Olive Lane family. As do all staff. We will keep coming back.

Bad service; long wait for food, and in fact simple dish of eggs on toast never arrived and staff unapologetic about it. Cafe not even busy at the time. Burnt hotcakes which the person who made them tried to hide by flipping them over. We saw them and sent them back. They didn't care, unapologetic again. Wont be returning

Stopped by here for a quick coffee. The atmosphere in the courtyard was comfortable and inviting. The coffee was really high quality. And the service was super friendly! We're really looking forward to coming back to try the food!

Messed up order, left rear door open to the cold wind, in too much of a hurry to close up. Not much fun. Food good. Coffee ok.

A special thanks to the venue staff (especially Christine) for making our large family function at Olive Lane truly special and memorable. We were seated in the comfort of the al fresco dining area, where an immense level of detail was spent on all aspects of the menu. Our guests were particularly impressed with the barramundi marinated in Mediterranean herbs and seasoning and the grain salad. The staff made everyone feel warm and welcome, catering to all dietary needs, with generous servings of food. Our guests also appreciated the ample parking availability. We could not have asked for a better venue and would highly recommend for all small and large group bookings. Vangie and Andrea
