The best food in this restaurant used to be Chicken Parma, but in this days the quality is gone a bit lower with tasteless Parma. Lower cheese and cream with Pastas as well. On the other hand, Risotto was amazing and will have it from now on. Update 16/07/2022; I’ve been there again and I’ve enjoyed most other dishes except chicken Parma. They are making the best risotto Thanks 🙏

Had a lovely dinner at this restaurant with my colleagues. It was very busy but the service was friendly. We were fortunate to have Alfresco dining as it was rather noisy inside the restaurant. The food was delicious and there was a good variety of dishes for selection. I also like that some dishes may be ordered without chips or potatoes but with vegetables instead. I would love to visit again.

Birthday party. 🎂 very hot, air con not working well. Food was yum! The drinks divine! The service was amazing. Kathy the waitress was phenomenal. She was on hand, polite, accommodating and made sure we were all happy. Personally, I would have cracked it at our expectations 🙃 but she did not! Love ❤️

I ordered a pizza and I got this…. It tasted dry and like it was microwaved. The ham was dry and seemed like it had been left out for hours. Don’t recommend the pizza here. Horrible Pizza

Enjoyed a truffle risotto and tomato based marinara fettucini. Overall the meal was enjoyable. The risotto was a tad overcooked and didn't have a bite to it, the pasta was nice. But sparingly plated. Wish there a bit more.

Excellent menu selection, professional staff and wonderful alfresco eating areas. They have a cool mist flowing above to keep their guests cool on a hot day. We ordered ... Chicken Parma for my brother Penne alla pescatora for my hubby Roast salmon fillet and chips for me. The chips were great and not oily at all. Yummy 😋 All three dishes were made with fresh ingredients and cooked in record time. Only flaw... waiter kept forgetting my dry ginger ale, even after the boys had nearly finished their beers 🍻 😅

It’s good place live atmosphere to have lunch with friends. The prices gone up and portions of food reduced compared to last year but I still enjoyed my meal. We had to ask a few times to get water for our table but otherwise the service was good.

The first time we ordered the marinara pizza, it was amazing;full of delicious fresh seafood and vegetables. However, the quality is going downhill each time we order it. Today we had no green leaves at all with very average seafood and cheese. A very disappointing dinner indeed.

Extremely happy, it was my first time there and found the food to be excellent, the service staff were excellent also. The staff wore a smile which is always nice and nothing was a bother for them. The place was packed and yet the staff were in full control. Prices were excellent will definetly be back.

Carlucci's has the best tiramisu i have ever had in my life! Huge slice, handmade with lots of indulgent creme but cake nice & light, just the way it should be, yum! Always nice friendly service from the guys & gals here too. It's a bit out of my way but worth it for that indulgent desert! Only issues is it does get very busy at times which makes it a bit noisy inside but they have now expanded their outdoor area so plenty of room out there, complete with heating lamps. i would recommend booking ahead so you don't miss out on a spot too.

Had lunch at Carlucci's today. The wait staff were friendly, attentive and made no errors with our order. The food was hot, delicious and quick to arrive at our table. The cost of the food is alright in price, there are other eateries that are more competitive on price. The deserts - lava chocolate cake was warm but did not come with cream or ice cream on the side. That was disappointing. Same with the apple crumble which was served cold without cream or ice cream. Yet they charge a premium price for dessert.

Great restaurant for tasty food. Fast, friendly service. Good range of kids meals and great desserts (at least on paper). I didn't really like the Fire Starter pizza as much as I was hoping - the sauce was too sweet. Will stick to the usual mexicana. Souvlaki was great.

Following a recent dining experience, I feel compelled to provide feedback on the pizza. Regrettably, I must convey that the gastronomic encounter was marked by a sense of averageness. The flavors, deemed ordinary, did not ascend to the anticipated standard of excellence. While acknowledging the commendable service, the overall dining experience left me yearning for a more elevated degree of culinary satisfaction.

Lovely outdoor seating. Lunch was excellent. Very fair prices. Service was very good although booking 'system/process' seemed 'missing in action' re reserving a table -- we were pointed to 'any available table' when announcing ourselves noting the outdoor undercover seating area was understandably full.

I’ve been to Carluccis a few times now, but am not likely to return. The place was busy and had a good vibe, but they seemed very understaffed and that showed with the service and quality of food. Booking was at 7pm, and even with our best efforts to catch the servers attention, we didn’t get to order until 7:40pm, food arrived at 8:30pm and they forgot our starters. The fish and chips was good, the parmas average but the lamb gyros was dry as a bone and burnt…overall food was very disappointing. The servers were very polite and clearly doing their best, but looked stressed, under pressure and were endlessly rushing from one table to another. Would not recommend, there are many better options out there.

Had a coffee and fruit toast while waiting for prescriptions at the pharmacy up the road. 5 star rating all up. The service was great as well as the food. We sat outside under the umbrella in the fresh air which made dining even more pleasant. Highly recommend Carlucci's.

Popped in on a whim looking for a late lunch option in Templestowe and had the best service. The server was knowledgeable, charismatic and made me feel like I was in their house. Took me through all the vegan options and made some great suggestions. Best meal out I’ve had in some time.

Amazing food, great choices on menu and staff very friendly and in sufficient numbers to cope extremely well when it gets busy. The quality of food and timeliness of service was very impressive even though the restaurant was busy. Highly recommend!!!

Everything was average. Not bad and not very good. The dessert and coffee are better than food

Waitress was the highlight. Super friendly and charismatic. She even presented some of my friends with a candles on a biscuits when she found out it was their birthday. Went the extra mile in hospitality. Atmosphere was buzzing on a Saturday night.

Great place, my daughter loves their pasta. The food is generally always consistently good. It's a very busy, noisy place so you can dine outside of that's more to your liking. Prices are reasonable and staff are usually helpful and efficient. One of our regular "go to" restaurants for a quick but quality meal.

A good selection of food on their menu, the wood-fire pizzas are delicious. Friendly and accommodating staff. Excellent customer service. Enjoyed many meals on several occasions and look forward to visiting them again.

This is a favourite place of mine for many years. I have been here perhaps in the hundreds of times over the last 13 years and across 3 different owners. I have experienced everything from three course dinners to a casual coffee or glass of wine in the outdoor area. Carlucci’s strikes a beautiful balance of atmosphere through the excellent outdoor seating area, service through friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a very wide range of quality food and drinks. It just ticks all the boxes.

My dining experience was pretty good. Ordered the chicken parmigiana, and it was cooked about right and not too dry. Oyster Kirkpatrick was good. However, i noticed that the tap beer did not have a thick foam. And tasted a bit funky compared to other drafts I have tasted. This might have been a once off occurrence, so I will update if this changes on my second visit.

I came here with my daughter for lunch in April. It was 22 degrees, pretty warm in April. We sat outside and ordered a couple dishes: kids Spaghetti Bolognese while I went for a good, old chicken parmagiana. The one word to describe Carlucci's is generous. I was surprised at how big the kids size was. This is what Italian food is about! It was yummy and would definitely want to come back.

A great spot for brunch! Easy parking available, lots of menu options and a great atmosphere. A busy place to be on a Sunday, only downside was it was quite loud. The coffee was good and the food we ordered came promptly and was also delicious. My brother said he had the best eggs Benedict in his life!

My friends love this place and have been regular and loyal customers for a while and suggested we should meet up in this place. So we met up here on a Saturday afternoon and I didn’t take any pictures as I was busy talking. We ordered steak, chicken salad, calamari and coffees. Well, if you ask my true opinion about this place, I gotta say I’ve tasted better places. Steak is fairly good even though a bit chewy due to overcooked a bit ( I’ve asked for medium rare but end up with medium to well done, plus the leafy salad comes with it wasn’t pleasant as some of the leaves were either in yellow Colours Which means they’ve almost gone bad or with questionable smell) and my wife’s chicken salad is good and the calamari is fairly good as well. Coffees are normal, at least not as rich as I expected.

Dined for dinner with friends. I had the chilli prawns for my main which were tasty & shared the nutella & strawberry crepes for dessert which were tasty also. Service friendly.

I def recommend the drinks here. Mine is Ms Jackson, and the red cup is Cherry Bom. The small dish of Grilled Octopus was the charm of the night. The sauces and veg went well with each other. The texture of the octopus surprised me as it was tasty, fulfilled and different. The beefsteak was so-so. Not really special. It could be better. The market fish is on my bottom list. The texture was too lean, which I didn't like personally. The sauce was not my fave either. The side dish was the worst. Too oily because it had nothing but carrots with butter. Other than that, the service was terrific. They were polite and had their own styles. Love it!

Had a brunch date with myself. Staff were really friendly. Food was delicious and great portions sizes altho to much for me, didn't quite finish. I'd go back for sure!

While the food at this restaurant is decent, I had a disappointing encounter with the day manager. It was on a Saturday. He seemed disinterested in his job and was consistently abrupt and short with us. His lack of enthusiasm and bedside manner made us feel uncomfortable throughout our visit.

I now know what it’s possibly like to eat dinner on a live export sheep ship. It was 35 degrees plus outside so everyone was as crammed inside. The water misting system outside had minimal effect. Within minutes of being seated we were being asked to order entrees. Seriously mate give us a few minutes. The atmosphere is crammed and loud, real loud, to the point it was not possible to have a conversation. Trio of dips entree came with charcoal burnt dipping bread.really ! Dinners arrived before entrees had been consumed and we had a farcical situation of putting main meals on an already crowded table. Dinners were of reasonable quality but had better in pubs. Staff were friendly enough Overall I would not recommend this place, especially on a hot day. To crowded, too noisy and average food
