Not sure how a business can get all these 5 star reviews with 5 dollar fries served without salt and not fresh. Looks like this generation are going to have money problems after all. Claiming this place has great prices is pure and simple a sign of how deluded people have become. Market yourself well and you can sell anything- this company are brilliant marketers.

We went there on close, I think this would be a pumping place when it's busy, heaps of good vibes. Burger was pretty good, made well and reasonably priced. But the burger patty wasn't as good as some other places & the crispy chicken strip's were of a small serving size and a bit dry.

I came in a few days ago after they had stuffed up my order (my family and I are halal and we accidentally ordered a burger with bacon ), we were offered a free meal if we were able to come back. The girl who served us a second time explained the items which were halal in great detail and even got the kitchen to label everything so my parents wouldn’t be paranoid . The burgers were delicious! The girl who helped me dealt with the situation fantastically as I was a bit snappy at first and was very kind and understanding. Big shout out for Eva for turning my bad situation around! Will definitely be returning!

Good ambience. Amazing patties. The only thing they can improve upon is their bun. It got soggy pretty quickly. Even tough the amazing patties and the sauces managed to make the burger still taste good. But a better bun would take this burger to the next level.

Maybe I'm getting old, but I'm getting inclined not to review as exceptional places that offer what they really should be just offering by the fact they are in the hospitality business.... so, for me, Betty's is average. It offers a nice selection on the menu, service was better than average, and I would say the food is what I would expect at this price point. There is nothing awesome to write home about, but average. Not bad. I've had better burgers, and I've had far worse. I would say, however, that the level of cleanliness is below what I would expect. As experienced using their restrooms. BUT I did notice this has been the case in many of the eateries I've been looking in whilst in Melbourne.

Was refused glasses of water, I guess they want to force people to pay $4.5 for Mt Franklin. The menu was not written clearly so when I tried to swap out the patty I ended up with a plain burger with a vegan patty... which was pretty mediocre and fell apart instantly. The bread was super soft and soggy like a McDonalds burger. 8bit is miles better.

I was served by phoebe who actually read my mind and predicted what I wanted before i even ordered! (Because real ones know.) Truly great service and even better desserts

Brought home a couple of Betty’s deluxe burgers. The soft buns were very delicious. Loved the Angus beef patty and crispy bacon. The trimmings consisting of pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, onion and cheese were such a great combination. And of course, to tie it all together, Betty’s special sauce. Service was cheery and it didn’t take too long for my order to be ready. Betty’s is a growing franchise and it’s clear it’ll be around for awhile!

10/10 burgers! They were phenomenal. I can’t believe I haven’t visited this place sooner. If there is a line, it’s worth the wait.

Been here a few times. The burgers are good with crispy bacon and fresh salad inside. Not a big fan of their fries and thick cut chips. Concretes are also nice, but nothing too special. Overall, good for occasional dine-in.

Great burgers! The bun was a bit flat and soft before managed to get halfway through it, though still tasted good. The young lady taking the order didn’t have a clue about the burgers. On question, and after careful review of the menu; apparently the difference between the deluxe and the double is you get two of everything -not bad at $1 price difference (she could have been working at the Kwik-E-Mart for all she knew)

This place is generally packed whenever we pass by it, so we decided to come here on a “less crowded” afternoon and found plenty of tables to sit. We ordered the Crispy Chicken Supreme - southern fried chicken, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, Betty's special sauce; and the Spicy Chicken - southern fried chicken, bacon, spicy pickles, lettuce, tomato, cheese, Sriracha mayo. We also ordered Corona beer to go with it. The service was quick and friendly. Both burgers were juicy, with fresh ingredients. It wasn’t oily at all, and just loved the taste! The Corona were both not chilled enough, and when I stated that to the staff, they were happy to replace them with very cold beers.. which I found very helpful! Definitely coming back for more burgers!

Really solid CBD burger joint, love the tunes and atmosphere inside the venue especially. The service is super quick with a deli style pickup from the counter system. Love the buns the smash style patty’s are wrapped in, the fries are also particularly great, I think keeping the skins on really adds to the flavour and uniqueness. The special Betty’s sauce is a also an awesome take on the familiar “special burger sauce” were all familiar with.

Definitely a go to place for burgers. Nice atmosphere and service was friendly too. Price wise reasonable. Beef deluxe was amazing. Crispy chicken burger could have been better if they had a bit of seasoning in the batter. Chips and onion rings were good too. My favorite was the beef burger. Would definitely recommend for quick and good meal.

you get seated and then have to get up to order and pay. go back to your seat and wait for your order to be ready. get up again to get your order. what are the waiters/ waitress for? easier to have a QR code on the table and order from your phone.

IMHO, I had a much better American style burger. I mean, it’s OK but the burger just did not give me a wow factor. I mean, I can go to any burger joint and more or less I will get a similar experience. We had the Shroom Burger and thenPlant based burger. Overall it’s OK but not making me want to come back. I will take Grill’d anytime over Betty’s Burgers.

Betty’s Double - Double beef, double cheese, bacon, pickles, onions, American mustard, tomato sauce. Bacon and patty were burnt, buns were soggy borderline wet. Not as juicy and abit bland but not as oily as I first imagined being a double, so a tick for that. Spicy Grilled chicken - Grilled chicken, bacon, spicy pickles, lettuce, tomato, cheese, Sriracha mayo. A better option on the night. Well cooked, not dry, fresh lettuce, just the right amount of sauce but yet manageable to eat and handle. Buns were still soggy. Not spicy but rather like tangy. French fries were rubbery and needed to be cooked a little longer for a crispy texture. Asked for chilli dipping sauce on the side, again don’t get your hopes up as it had no kick to the stomach. Will I come back? Probably! Maybe just a busy night for the kitchen. I’ll visit again on a different night and try the other options on the menu.

I rarely have a burger(I would say I had only several times.), but I had a plant based burger on National burger day last year and liked it! Then, I just visited here again today. Friendly staff and great customer service(especially Lucy and Danny). Highly recommended!

Top burgers at great prices! Alex and the rest of the Elizabeth St Team run an amazing joint. I had forgotten to tell the staff to exclude an ingredient from my burger. As I attempted to remove the ingredient myself, Alex came by and insisted that the team make the burger again. I was shocked as it was my own mistake. I have never seen such dedicated customer service. I also note the new burger was delivered in less than 5 mins. Very impressed!! Definitely don't see that level of service much back at home in Sydney. You won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed my burger and fries - this place was bustling on a Sunday but they were efficient and got through orders quickly. The only thing that let them down was their bathrooms could be a touch cleaner but it's hard to keep on top of them when your staff are flat tack!

I didn't realise that it was a vegetarian burger while ordering. Not that it tempered my expectations. The burger was mind-blowing delicious. I've never experienced fried mushrooms like this before. The patty was so juicy that it eclipsed the other veggies. The special sauce was oozing from the sides, and paired so well with the burger that it has to be eaten to be believed. Simply spectacular! 🔥👌🏻 I don't think one can ever be wrong with Betty's Burgers. Awesome food. All the time.

Established in Noosa Qld, and expanding south too Melbourne, Bettys was buzzing with ppl creating an inviting dining experience. Dine or delivery is available also but we went with takeaway Food was well made and came quickly after ordering through there own app making the whole process simple and efficient after a quick sign up(a few minutes is all it takes). Food was beautifully presented with a bettys beef classic and a crumbed chicken burger, and a serve of fries. both with fresh lettuce and tomato and there special house made betty sauce. They offer a variety of different sauces and sides to go with your meal. Including a small selection of soft drinks, water, beer, cider and Wine, We also grabbed a cpl of chocolate malt thickshakes that were rich smooth and delicious.They also have a variety of desserts for the sweet tooth including tubs of icecream on offer, Portion sizes where good leaving you satisfied and fulfilled. Open 11am-10pm daily. Any questions jump online and check them out for yourself.

Cute retro diner. Tasty cheeseburger but too salty. Had the pea ut butter and chocolate shake. Liked the fries 🍟. Very friendly staff. You order at the cashier and they may bring your meal to you. Walking in the back of the restaurant to the bathrooms smelled gross like urine, dogs and alcohol. Wretched smell near the bathroom but not in dining area. There was a 15% surcharge as it was a holiday. They so charge foe ketchup and other condiments too.

Watched staff prepping the food, a bit disappointed as they literally throwing food at the counter, they take fries from fridge like no one cares (mostly dropping on the floor), the staff who wears gloves to prepare the food also touch the contaminated areas of kitchen, hugs her staff then back handling the food and drinks her own drink with her gloves on!!! That’s a no no! Management should do something about it. Beef Burger still the same as the ones in Sydney and Brisbane. Tried crispy chicken at this time but its way too salty for me.

Loved the environment here, the workers were happy and smiling, they work very efficient, they are helpful, and it seems like they like their job. You can hear some of them singing the songs that were playing throughout the restaurant, and might I add good music! For the food I ended up getting a spicy bacon chicken burger, it was good, my only complaint about it was that it wasn’t spicy enough, I’d like more spice to it but it was still good. I also got French fries and a Betty’s burger ale that was light and refreshing.

One of the best burgers, recommend a stop here to try their burgers, it can’t go wrong. BTW, don’t forget the onions rings too.

After a day at the tennis we wanted a good, quick dinner and came across Betty’s. Fabulous classic burgers, great meat and sauce with the softest of buns. Brilliant fries - piping hot! Perfect beer to wash it down but above all the staff, from the order to the pick up to the clearing team were brilliant - so easy to engage with. Highly recommended.

The burgers were absolutely amazing as always! Mom and I had the Betty’s Deluxe and the Crispy Chicken Supreme and loved both. Ebony greeted us with the biggest smile and kindly introduced the menu to us. Great service and food. Will visit again!

l ordered Betty’s Classic Burger with additional pickles, just because... I also added fries on the side. I enjoyed eating the classic burger; the buns and the meat were really tasty. Although the fries were a bit too salty, it's fine. Overall, I love the burger; it's delicious. I also heard their shakes are great; maybe next time I'll try those.

Great burgers! If you are in the CBD and around Flinders St then recommend checking this place out. The spicy chicken burger was great, the chicken was fresh and juicy, however it could have been a little spicier. The beef burger was also great, meat was fresh and well cooked. The restaurant was very busy when we visited so the staff were a little pushy trying to free up tables but overall a good experience.

Amazing food. This 🍔 is really, really delicious. It was by far the best burger in Melbourne. But the place is very noisy and the service could be improved for sure. I can't believe that you have to pay for some ketchup.

Busy during meal times. Waited 15min for a table. Waitress didn't seem to be proactively managing the seats/tables/queue... Like the rest of the reviews, patty was great. Buns were the BIG letdown. Soggy right from the start. A$8 Chocolate Milkshake was a letdown too. Milkshake from Macdonalds will beat it hands-down.

Fresh, juicy and yummy! Came in off-peak hours so it’s quick to sit and eat. Love the Noosa Classic Surf burger with lots of yummy fillings inside, including big fried shrimps! But Betty’s sauce is nothing special otherwise all great!

Came for first time with my husband and couple of friends; All of us had the original hamburger with small chips and it was worthy! Love the hamburger meat flavor even though I don’t use to eat fast food oftenly. The only thing I guess could be improved to get a better experience at the restaurant would be the table service regarding to someone who can take the order (avoiding the queue)

Great diner atmosphere but the place is very overrated. There burger are fresh and the shroom patty is a must try although I find the fries quality to be average. Their milkshake is also very good and the price is actually decent. There’s a long queue though at Dinner hence I don’t go there too often.

The burgers are good, no doubt. Up there with Grill’d in my opinion. Chips may even be better. What’s a little devious is the way their staff (appear to be) trained to ask if you want certain extras on your order… like pickles, cheese or even tomato sauce - but NOT tell you they are all extra charges. Been there a few times now and it’s been the same every time. Picked will cost you an extra $2 and tomato sauce $1!! I’d be willing to pay if they just were upfront about it… but won’t be rushing to go back.

We visited on lunchtime on a Thursday and it was very busy. Lucy greeted us, prepped the table for 4 and got us into line to order. In the meantime she has arranged for the table to be ready. While we awaited for our orders, she even collected them for us. It's rare to find such great service and energy these days. Lucy is a huge asset to the Betty's team.

This place is amazing. The food is fantastic and the service is incredible. Absolute vibes. Overall 10/10. Can't wait to come back 😁

I went there hoping for what looked like an amazing burger...wasted my money. Burger was sloppy, undercooked and I threw it out. The chicken patty was. still cold and wet, lettuce was wet and the bun dry and stale...sorry guys, but just shocking.

Really nice American styled burgers. Great Staff and service, super friendly and nice. I even forgot my phone inside and they rushed outside with it following me😂. I would take care more of cleaning tho the toilets were very dirty and so was some part of the kitchen. Overall enjoyed it.

10:00pm you close (it's what your website says) - so I arrived with my partner for a takeaway dinner at 9:18pm. I was okay to come in & wait while others ordered. Then my turn comes - I come up to the counter to order & the attendant walks off leaving me for a good couple of minutes, then returns to say it's 9:30pm & the kitchen is closed. Maybe in future - stop people at the door to tell them you are closed, rather than making them wait more than 10 minutes to say you're closed. There is also no need to walk off so you can extend the time to 9:30pm just to say you are closed. Not great customer service - which disappoints me considering the food has always been good, not sure if I'll return though.

My burger was luke warm with a soggy bun, I was dining in so I can only assume my burger sat there for a while before being served to me. Furthermore the waitress was trying to seat strangers at the same table as us. I get that they're busy but I wouldn't want to share a table with strangers even if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic. The fact of the pandemic made it that much more confusing and uncomfortable that I was expected to sit shoulder to shoulder with strangers to eat my meal. This edit is a response to the owner response: I've already said how to make the experience better, read the review. Make sure the burgers are fresh, not cold and soggy and don't expect customers to share tables with strangers just because you want to fill seats.

Probably my favorite "fast food" burger in CBD. Ordered Betty's classic and deluxe, + chips and drinks. Also, try to order through their app to avail some of the discount vouchers available. Just inform the counter after ordering that you ordered though app but want to dine in instead.

I had their spicy Chicken burger and it was really good! The chicken filet was beautifully done and crispy. Nice soft bun. Can't wait to come back and try a beef burger.

Really exceptional burgers! Also clean with wonderful service- my only very tiny complaint is that sauce for the fries isn’t complimentary and there wasn’t a sign reminding us that. We forgot to order some sauce for $1 and we really regretted it!!! We couldn’t go back and buy it because our fries would get cold. We got stuck- so don’t forget the sauce everyone! Considering how expensive the fries were ($5) the very least you could do is supply a packet of sauce- (you’re paying $10 for coke and chips) We thought that was very stingy. But taste and cleanliness of the store really impressed us. 5 star for taste!

Amazing burger place, with a really chilled vibe inside. The staff are super friendly having gone in recently for my first time the staff recommend a couple of things and was left with the most amazing combo. The Betty deluxe was cooked perfectly with the right balance of toppings and super moist patty, freshly cut shoe string fries with secret sauce dipping sauce and to complete it a cookies and cream shake which tasted like cookie dough and chocolate pieces

Satisfying burgers

If you're after a quick and cheap burger (in price not quality) go here. Better than the competition by miles (Grill'd, Mr Burger, etc). Will always recommend, just super tasty. And the GF/vegan bun is super soft and very good.

They have the best American style smash burgers by far. The burgers are incredibly delicious and their chips and onion rings in particular are great. Service is very quick considering how busy it can get.

For those on a diet, try the Bare Betty burger. It's a classic burger without the bun. It's a bit messy but still yummy 😊
