Beautiful setting and location, this hip expanded hole in the wall style Cafe oozes a central Melbourne vibe. Nice and laid back staff. Seating is a little bit janky, but it works for a breakfast/lunch. The food was wonderful, nice and freshly prepared, decent portion size but gets a mark down for price, it is getting a little pricey for a $4 extra for halloumi which is 1-2 slices. Coffee was good and they had an awesome drink selection to choose from.

Waffles were yum! But would give them 4.5 stars (but rounded to 5) for not writing cinnamon in the description for it on their menu, which they dusted on top. I personally hate cinnamon so if I knew about it I would’ve asked them to skip it.

Nice little cafe in the Melbourne CBD. Coffee is good and they have nice little treats, with some good vegan options. I had one of their peanut bar type cakes and it was very noice! Not too sweet but adequately nom. Prices are pretty standard for the CBD - it’s quite a busy area but it’s pretty quite in the back.

Found this lovely alleyways cafe while strolling the streets of Melbourne, during city visit from interstate. Great vibe, friendly inclusive staff and an awesome coffee! I couldn’t really ask for anything more… For my meal, I decided to try one of the signature dishes, açai berry bowl. I think only the fine folks at Seedling Cafe and God can add so many fresh, wonderful flavours into one bowl! See photo. Enough said!

Nice small place to have lunch. The salads are great and the meatloaf too. I ordered a almond milk latte which was great. The only detail is that, if you are seated and want to add something more, you need to order it on the counter and pay. They don’t offer you the menu on the table.

Cute little Cafe. Seating for around 8 inside, very cosy and another 6 outside. Vegan friendly. Softer smooth coffee, with great milk. Muffins are wonderful, fast service which is needed with how popular this place is. A great window for people watching along the street. Recommend trying.

Great friendly service! And delicious squares! 100% gluten-free is hard to find around here. Tried to order a cake but the cake maker was out of town. Got a box of mixed treats instead. They even conveniently cut them up into small bitesized pieces topped with strawberries and blueberries. I had mentioned it to be a sharable sort of occasion. Saved me the trouble of doing it myself later! Pick-up was quick and easy. As arranged. Location easy to find. Thank you!

I think this cafe is overrated. I ordered a waffle, a big salad, a flat white and a babyccino. The coffees were fine, average quality; the salad was pre-made, nothing fancy nor to complain; the problem was the waffle. It took half an hour to wait, which I could live with coz they told me so, but the waffle was obviously over toasted. It was so hard to bite and tasted bitter. Moreover, the waiters were cold-face.

I went to the cafe with a vegan friend of mine and we were disappointed with the choices. Firstly, if you are a vegan this is not the place for you. You don't have a range of choices and the vegan salads I had was just plain. However, the espresso and the hot chocolate was amazing.

Cosy friendly cafe selling organic coffee. My first attempt to try organic coffee and it tastes so good better than those size small & over $5 from cafe next door. Love it. For sure will be back again They also have fresh salad on the menu. Worth to try it:

Beautiful little Cafe with healthy options. The avocado smash was so tasty with the goats cheese and beetroot hummus. Lovely presentation and tasted so fresh. The chai was also a winner

Came across this laneway cafe whilst visiting Melbourne from Brisbane. I grabbed a smoothie and went about my day. The smoothie was delicious, so I returned for lunch and had poached eggs and bacon on GF toast. Very tasty and well cooked and I would happily recommend this little gem to anyone. 100% gluten free with vegan and paleo options.

The food and drinks taste really good. Impressed with their baked egg. All gluten free. Love their beetroot latte too. However, they cannot offer takeaway cup for drink when we dine in. Hence I give 4 stars in here. Their dessert was the second best of mine in Melbourne cbd. This cafe is not big, seats are limited. Very close to public transport. Car parking nearby too. You can also collect stamps for drinks and get free drink once reach 10.

Ordered one of Seedlings special cakes for a colleagues goodbye party as she was going on maternity leave. Not only did the cake cater for a few different dietary requirements - it was also DELICIOUS!!! Not a bite left in site. The team at seedling also put some extra special thought and added a cute baby sign to the cake - without me asking! Loved the cake and couldn't recommend it highly enough :)

The worst coffee I’ve ever had asked for a soy milk latte it was horrible and half the coffee was this thick weird foam consistency. The staff seemed uninterested and quite rude

Friendly staff, mainly about salads, they tasted nice and fresh. Extra $3 for a beef loaf is not a good idea. Shop is extremely small with few seats.

Love this cafe and the one on Flinders lane! It has saved me so many times in the city trying to find a decent Gluten Free meal! The savoury muffins are amazing as is the paleo pumpkin bread and salads! Staff are so helpful and lovely! It's quick delicious and all gluten free!!!

Staff were rude and unfriendly. Food is good for gluten free, but cannot get over how inattentive and not welcoming their staff were. Wasn’t even asked if I wanted water when I sat down, pretty basic - but the attitude was the worst.

Best acai bowl in town! The avo toast with goats cheese and tomatoes was delicious too. *Husband doesn't enjoy goats cheese. Meh.
