Mayura Thai is a fantastic local Thai restaurant. The food is great, the staff are great. We have never failed to have a great time here over numerous visits over the years. Last night we had pork spring rolls, battered prawns, mixed seafood basil, pad Thai with chicken and a chicken dish with a name I can’t recall. We finished with coconut ice cream. The highlight dish for me was the mixed seafood basil, although they were all terrific. As always, all the dishes were really good. The atmosphere was buzzy too and the takeaway orders were flying out the door. Service from Jimmy was wonderful as usual. He such a terrific person and server. You can’t get better. We also really liked the young female server with the fantastically broad aussie accent and lovely manner. What great staff. Mayura Thai is a pretty compact place but it punches well above its weight. It’s pretty much the perfect local Thai place. Highly recommended.

Impressed that our takeaway was all very safely sealed. Pad see ew didn’t seem to be listed on menu log when we ordered so I opted for a pad Thai instead which is just as classic. This was a bit of a strange rendition as I have personally never experienced a pad Thai that had copious amounts of cauliflower florets. It needed a squeeze of citrus to elevate the flavour and luckily I had some lemons at home as it was fairly bland without it

Absolutely superb meal for a small restaurant. Loved it. The mixed seafood basil was the best I have tasted, I highly recommend this meal.

We love our local. Food extremely fresh, flavours terrific, and they always make you welcome. We eat in occasional however take away is reliable.

Very happy with this little shop. Great food, good size, friendly staff. Worth the trip out of the main town for something proper and better value. Would definitely return. Cheers!

I had a memorable family dinner in Mayura Thai. The food was delicious and reasonable, the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Services were great.

They often say good things come in small packages, how true it is with Mature Thai. Absolutely love coming here when in Melbourne excellent food and wonderful friendly service. Thanks Jimmy the hospitality and food is 10/10

Has the ownership changed hands? Very disappointed with our meals tonight. Ordered takeaway......was told 30 mins until pickup. Arrived before the 30 mins, the drive home 2-4 mins, everything cold and the rice was gluggy and soooo over cooked.

If you haven't eaten here you are missing out! Food is amazing, friendly service, and great atmosphere. Love this place!

Food was hot and delivered on time. Thats as far anything good goes. By far the worst Thai. Noodles was almost the boiled packed noodles. Ordered a couple of Pad kee mao, tasted horrible. It was genuinely terrible. Serving size was rather small.

We've been eating at, or taking away from Mayura Thai for many, many years. Always friendly, great service, food consistenly good. Simple menu, which is done really well. Would be heartbroken if they ever left!

Everything on their menu is amazing and reasonably priced. The staff are really friendly, one of the best hidden local gems.
