Sorry, a big disappointment. We had store-bought pita bread, two dips and two dishes which cost $75!!!!! Everything was small portioned and tasted very lemony. I have seen other reviews and I think the restaurant owners has changed. I’m not a picky eater or a hater by any means but this is really bad. Please eat somewhere else

I booked the restaurant based on the great Google reviews. I was advised due to the current situation, they served banquet only. We paid $70 per person for the seafood banquet. For that price, I'd expect some delish meal but to be honest, it's just meh. They loaded up the banquet with lots of rice and bread and dips, but only served 2 prawns (one each), 4 calamari (2 each), 2 scallops (one each). All I could taste on the dishes was lemon and more lemon. And coffee was meant to be included but was not offered. Turkish delight was really nice tho. I give this 2 star instead of 1 just because the server was very nice and attentive, and because of the Turkish delight.

Meat banquet is good value for money. Gluten free options available. BYO wine, but corkage is getting a bit pricey at $5 per bottle. Belly dancer on a Friday night adds to a fun night out.

Food is delicious and main portion sizes are very generous. Everything was packed with flavour.

A terrific venue for our 50th birthday celebration, thirty of us enjoyed superb food that just keeps coming if you're having the banquet, with that char on meat and chicken sticks to die for. The atmosphere was authentic and the service attentive - highly recommended.

Great to go with groups or family and friends. Great meals and good hospitality. All staffs are very courteous and respectful and professional.

Went in for dinner and food was absolutely tasteless, I was extremely disappointed! Food 6 months ago tasted beautiful and now, literally nothing... they need to work out what has changed and fix it, while they are at it... sort out their staff, it was the slowest service. I don't think I'll be back, plenty of better Lebanese restaurants to go to now. What a shame!

Great Food at a great price! Excellent eating experience .. went with with family and from walking in the door and being greeted by the hostess, seated and order taken, was just fabulous. Meal was served hot and excellent taste, server was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return back again.

The hospitality was good and proactive. But the top famous dish seem to have lost its touch. I have ordered hummus and lamb shawarma. I have had some best shawarma. But this one's entirely different, it was served with oily rice and meat on top, not so tasty n lamb meat was bland, hard to chew and not really enjoyable.

Foods taste very good and returant location is perfect. They have their own car park with about 10-12 spaces. Stuff are friendly and helpful. However be mindful that they have 15% surcharge on weekends.

The food here had me mouthwatering over every bite. I had to try every single thing that got laid out to us because it all looked so brilliant. Outstanding service and staff made it a night to remember. Safe to say I was well fed and a very happy boy.

The food was of poor quality. Outside, kebabs were burned, and inside, they were raw. Rice was cold and undercooked. One of the employees was obnoxious, reviewing our clear order numerous times because was confused. No star at all. Later in their response, they confirmed how much they value their consumers! They don't know how to make kebabs!!!! sorry to see such impolite staff. Totally awful experience... Wast of money...

Waited over an hour for the my main to come. My mother never received her food. Left feeling very disappointed. Gazgerald does not recommend

Worst food that is the worst food of my life never suggest this one

The food was great but the restaurant was so cold and we did not feel comfortable while eating.Although we offered a different table where closer to the air con, it did not work at all, hence the 3 stars

LOVE this place

Used to be amazing. Unfortunately they seemed to have lost their way. Ordered an early take away but was then made to wait for about 40 minutes only to be told they didn't put the order in the system. Then they said the order would take 1.5 hours to make. With young kids at home, I could not wait that long. The staff seemed to be in a great panic, even though the restaurant was empty due to covid. I would avoid, there are much better restaurants in Eltham

Exceptional service. Probably the most friendly restaurant I have been too. The food came out quick and was quite tasty. The custard dessert and Turkish delight was the best. The atmosphere was nice they had a belly dancer while we waited for the main meal. Some of the food was a little salty though, but the value is worth it basically 3 entrees, one main and dessert for $60 pp is a very good price.

I was there for my friend’s birthday and we ordered different meals. Each of our dishes were really great in terms of quality and portion. Also the waiter was so attentive. I will def come back again. Thank you guys. Keep it up.

Went here for a Christmas party loved the food here it was great there's little parking & unfortunately I saw no access for disabled people but I would highly recommend the food Sonia

I am editing my review down below (between quotes "" "") after my last two experiences at Maroush. It used to be our local Lebanese, always fresh food, great flavours, not too expensive. However, the second last time the food wasn't as fresh as always, and we always get the same things, so it's easy to compare. We said OK, anybody can have a bad day. But the last time was really poor, it is the time of the virus, so we couldn't order what we wanted, the only choice was a banquet. Understood. Banquets for 4: stale food, the falafels were really hard and dry, reheated food mostly, the lamb was completely overcooked, the seafood banquet was really a joke, extremely disappointing. Can we have some baklava for dessert? Sorry, we don't have any baklava. Coffee wasn't offered. Cost 60/70 per person, depending on the banquet. I'm really sad, I think we are going to give it one more chance, but it looks like the quality has gone quite down. "Excellent food and service, as always. Went with family from Barcelona, they were very impressed. They loved the ambiance, the vibe, including the belly dancer. That's why we are regulars, they never disappoint."

Good food, friendly staff. The servings are relatively small, they are only ok if you have entrees before. Also I am concerned about the prices which are lot more expensive than its competitors for the same value.

Amazing food, even better service! The banquet provided an incredible opportunity to experience the menu at a fuss free pace. The staff are fantastic; very prompt and willing to have a chat where appropriate. We will definitely be coming back.

I don't know how previous reviews can be 5 star. There are a couple of accurate ones here including mine. Food was ordinary, anyone can scoop some Hommos on plate and cut up some pitta bread. The kebabs were tough. We were only offered the banquette but a couple next to us could order anything they wanted. no thankyou!

What a great night out. We had the banquet which was fantastic. The Belly Dancer also added greatly to the atmosphere. Can't wait to return.

Went with a group of friends last Saturday.. we all had amazing time there. Loved the food, the atmosphere where exotic is mixed with elegance. Staff are friendly and welcoming, delicious food and generous serving. Entertainment took the vibe to the next level. Specially when we danced along .. so much fun and great experience..Certainly will be back again 😊

We visited this lovely restaurant midweek for dinner. The ambience is wonderful with traditional middle eastern decor. The service was excellent and the quality of food was great. The highlights were the Tabouleh, the Babaganoush and the beef rissoles.
