I’m impressed. I was in serious need of takeaway tonight and Bar Doh came to mind. I had trouble deciding what to have. When I got there and the nice manager made some helpful suggestions Including on a wine to have while I waited for the goods (a McLaren Vale shiraz, very nice). I eventually went for the herb crust pizza with cheese and rock salt. Plus, a caprese salad. These were very good choices. The pizza was delicious. Beautifully composed, cooked and presented. I couldn’t fault it and polished it off mighty swiftly. The salad was optimal too. Generously sized and very tasty. Service was lovely as well from both servers. Friendly, engaging and polite. Genuine too and that’s what you want. I felt a bit guilty when I left. I’d been driving past this place for years and always thought the shop name was a bit silly and had judged the place accordingly. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It’s a lovely pleasant place inside, much nicer than it looks from the street. The food, wine and service were great as described. I really enjoyed tonight’s experience. Bar Doh is recommended. I’ll be back.

Stopped in here by chance and so glad we did. The welcome was friendly and the owner happy for a chat whilst cooking the pizzas. Small restaurant with inside and outside tables. Pizzas were excellent, light dough base and tasty toppings. We had the traditional margarita and a meat lovers. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting pizza, either eat in or take away.

This place is beautiful, very nice food. Both the owner and the staff are super friendly. Would highly recommend the Pork Special.

If you're looking for quality woodfired pizza in a cozy setting then this is the place. I've been on a quest for decent wood fired pizza in the eastern/outer eastern suburbs for a while now. My first visit here has left an impression. The owners were friendly and clearly passionate about their craft. The pizza dough is made here from scratch and the toppings were flavorsome with the right amounts. BYO wine makes it easy to enjoy your favorite drop as well. It's not a large restaurant, however I really hope that the owners can continue to provide the same level of service and delicious pizzas. The creme brulee was a treat also.

Honestly, if I decide to come here I want pizza first, then service, then atmosphere. Service was great Atmosphere was above average But the Pizza was not pizza... was horrible... no taste, and neutral... Sorry guys... I have to be honest.

I was taken here for dinner last Saturday night and I was really impressed. Super delicious pizzas. It is small and cosy inside. We had a beautiful entree of large mushrooms with toppings and we had desserts - fresh creme brulee. We were so full and we took the rest of the pizza home with us. The staff and owner were very friendly. The owner is a very experienced pastry chef and his pizza dough is really light and thin and tasty. I look forward to going back. ****Update 10/1/24 - We got two take away pizzas tonight and we all agreed it wasn't good.The base was tasteless like cardboard. It wasn't the nice thin tasty crust we had before and the topping wasn't nice either it lacked flavour - there was nothing yum about it tonight unfortunately. I don't think we will go back.

A lovely intimate pizza restaurant I had driven past many times, but will now be going back to. Pizza was delicious - with a wonderful light crust and wood fired base, and the service was on point. A hidden gem.

Best Pizzas we have ever eaten. Great ambience the owners are very friendly and always have time for a quick chat. The Chef David is the best the Pizza base is hand stretched thin and tasted awesome. All the toppings are high end food making this our favourite gourmet experience. A must try for any Pizza lover.

Small, cosy pizza place. The food was great, pizzas were not as oily as most places. If you’re looking for healthy pizzas this is the place. Workers were friendly and interacted with customers. However the atmosphere can get a little noisy at times (just a personal preference). Parking might be an issue based on where it’s located

Blackburn has lots of pizza places, our family have tried all of them - this is the best one. Excellent pizza base, fresh ingredients and wood fired, these pizzas are quality. Personally I like the balance of ingredients and the freshness, they are not salty or greasy so you feel good after eating them.

Very happy with our pizza night at Bar Doh tonight, high quality dough, we ordered 3 pizzas for 5 of us and we were full. Everything was delicious & service was great too. Wished we could eat more as we’d really love to try the Meat Lovers and the eggplants pizza. Will def be back again!

Yummy wood fired pizza and great choice of accompanying wine. Definitely recommend considering the Creme Brulee. Also 5 stars to the staff.

Got some pizzas from here for the first time yesterday after moving to the area a few kknths ago. Super fresh, hand stretched bases with generous toppings. All cooked in an awesome wood fired oven with friendly banter from the owners (I assume). Will 100% be visiting again soon.

pizzas here are the best, i recommend this place highly. Also the owners are good friendly people, very talkative. They have a variety of pizza options also take away and prices are reasonable.

Dave (owner) has really come in to his own since buying Bar Doh five years ago. The bases are delicious, (thin as they should be) and his specials (ingredients including home grown chilli) are really popular. Thrilled he’s got delicious ice cream served from a cute trolley, too

The flavour of these pizzas are superior. Excellent place for dinner out, warm atmosphere. Excellent customer service too, attended by their owners.

Fabulous food,very fresh menu, happy staff, pleasant atmosphere. We go there as often as we can. Reasonable prices also. Pizza' s really good with variety of toppings. Tapas is great as are the salads. Five stars all around
