We loved our food whatever we ordered. A must recommended Indian restaurant in Heidelberg.

We love this Indian restaurant. Great authentic and delicious flavours. Reasonable price. Quick and friendly service. Couldn't ask for more. We are always full and happy after leaving this restaurant.

Food was tasty and not the normal typical general flavors. There was more depth and technique. Staff were overly friendly, which was nice that they cared for us and catering for gluten free. Had the banquet 2 which was plenty of food. The vegetarian was my favorite, as a meat eater this was an alternative option. Would try again and with the different curries mentioned by the staff.

Great food! We were in the area and we’re looking what was open on a Monday night. Most places were shut but not this gem! It felt super authentic. The food was tasty, and the service was spot on, they even asked me if I wanted another beer when I was still two sips away from finishing the previous beer, excellent service. We had the mixed entrées, the tandoori platter (five serves), the fish curry, rich and garlic naan. It was probably enough for 3-4 people. So I’ve got lunch sorted tomorrow, happy with that, it was all tasty! The bill came to just under 100 bucks, not that considering there’s a couple of beers in there. Would definitely go again if I was in the area.

I didn't actually dine in. I had a takeaway from Uber from here. I've been in Australia for nearly 20 years. Prior to that - England. Manchester and Birmingham, the curry capitals of the world. I know my indian food! The food from this place is either the best or the second best Indian food I've ever had. Everything about it was perfect. This is now in my Google KEEP Iist of the best Australian restaurants. It's the top for Melbourne and Victoria

Came back after so long (Covid).and both the service and food awesome as always. Owners greeted by name and delighted our group with a great ambience and dinner. Anyone who has not tried might want to keep this place in mind.

My god. I had the Lamb Jalfrezi and Kashmiri Pulao via uber eats. The lamb was clearly cooked 2 days prior - extremely dry (see pic). The Jalfrezi sauce tasted like a bloody bogan supermarket jar of sauce (I.e. not fresh tasting and full of sugar). The Kashmiri Pulao was super sweet... did you add sugar in this for the bogans? These are very poor standards. First time trying this place. Never again.

First visit for us, and we hope for many more. The food was good, the service was wonderful, and they took extra care for listening to all our ‘special dietary needs’ of some in our group. Special thanks to Jyoti, who made our evening really pleasant with her excellent attention to all details.

Service was excellent, meals came out fast and so fresh. We had a huge entree before this feast of a main meal. All vego and absolutely top quality delicious Indian food. We even have take home food because we couldn't eat it all. Lunch tomorrow sorted.

I am not a big Indian food fan but I craved for it all of a sudden. That lead me to ordered here. I ordered Lamb Madras, Murg Malai Tikka and 3 naans. Everything was so delicious. I am definitely going to order here more. I saw few negative reviews and was a bit worried to order. But definitely made a good decision trying it out. Only thing is I would have wanted a bit more in the take away box. It cost me $42.

A wonderful dine-in experience, loved the atmosphere! The food was delicious, especially the lovely samosas and tandoori chicken; they were well cooked and spiced! Been coming here for the past 7 years and Heritage has never failed to disappoint! Best Indian restaurant in Melbourne! Well done guys! Can't wait to see you soon!

Top notch Indian food. The decor is a bit 'hair salon', so I usually get takeaway, but there's a wide range of carefully prepared and delicious curries on offer. The staff are very friendly as well.

Nice food here. We got Dahl tadka, Kashmiri naan, papadams, saffron rice, seafood masala and shabnam, all on Uber eats. Quality was good and flavour was good. We’d happily order from here or go here again. This is a solid Indian food option in this area.

Great food and reasonable prices. Really nice quality meats used as well. haven't had a disappointing feed yet. Not the most amazing atmosphere in the restaurant, but that's because it's usually pretty quiet. Lots of take away meals going out constantly. Wait times vary.

Heritage has made the best Indian food I've tasted. My partner and I came here to enjoy Indian cultural food. The quality of the food is exceptional, with each dish we ordered having unique and authentic flavour. This cultural experience is enhanced by the fragrances within the restaurant; which remind me of when I was in India. The service was good and the waitress had great care for us patrons. There seemed to be pride in ensuring professionalism with us patrons. It seems like a family oriented business with very reasonable priced meals.

Awesome food. Captured the perfect taste right between spicy and sweet.The Nans were amazing with the chutney and i really encourage people to try the place out.

10/10 food every time I’ve ordered. Best Indian food I’ve tasted, I highly recommend this place to anyone with taste buds. If u have a mouth that can eat things, try a meal from here at least once in your life, you won’t be disappointed.

I ordered butter chicken and beef korma. Great portion, extremely tasty and no weird tummy issues after! One of the best Indian takeaways I've ever had :)

Excellent quality, authentic cuisine. Big fan of Indian grub, this is right up there with the best.

Great place to order from. The kofta is mind-blowing. The other dishes are also excellent. The ambience isn't the greatest but a great place to order from. It's available on uber eats, or you could just call them up for placing an order. They've also got Indian beers which are not the easiest to find. Good place for indian dessert as well.

Ordered Malai Kofta, Chicken Heritage, Lamb Roganjosh, and 2 garlic naan for dinner on Monday. Total 59.50 AUD. The Malai Kofta was one of the best in Melbourne Metro area. It was savoury, sweet, rich in both flavor and texture. The dumplings were soft. As you bite into them, it gave a slight crunch from the nuts. The Chicken Heritage was rich in flavor, great if you love coconut. However it was a bit underseasoned. The Lamb Roganjosh was about average. Unfortunately the meat was a little bit overcooked and dry. The service was quite slow. There were only 1 waitstaff to serve all of the seating patrons and takeaways / delivery drivers. The interior was quite dull and the lighting was quite dark.

Just moved into the area. Me and the girls needed a new Indian joint and we chose heritage. Couldn’t recommend the butter chicken and samosas enough. Both absolutely delicious. We all sat out under our new outdoor area and ate, thanks for making this a night to remember.
