This place would have to be the best deganis I've been to. From there perfect coffee to breaky and the best steak sandwich I've ever had to thete perfect customer service from the staff. The owner Sunny is awesome and friendly. Worth trying 100%.

A Lovely Place to Have Breakfast! Especially since it's a 10 minute walk from me! The burger was a bit dry, but otherwise, reasonable prices and you actually get acknowledged by the staff when walking in! Edit: The Menu's changed. You get a much bigger serving and the burger was Waay better the second time. Amazing customer service - as always! Thank you Edit again 😊: BEST CAFE IN WOLLERT! My third time here and the food always gets better!

My partner and I have now been twice here, and we will not be going back again. They forgot most of the ingredients on our plates, by the time it came out the rest of the food was cold! And the bacon was only half cooked, example ordered eggs and bacon and only got eggs on dry toast. Management was not friendly!!!

Opening hours are deceiving 7:30am went there today and not even opened and called no one was answering even though lights are on.

Ordered the "rack of lamb" on Menulog and got three little lamb cutlets. Also we had ordered risotto and it was a entree size. Called to complain and was meet with attitude! Avoid

LEGIT THE WORST DEGANIS IVE EVER BEEN TO! From the service to the food, it went from bad to worse. Waited over an hour for food and still plates came out incorrectly. And when told so, the wait staff acted as if it’s our fault because we were a larger group and its “a lot” If you can’t handle the number of people in the cafe at once, then don’t book so many. Understand the number you can manage and go from there. No point having a full house (which it isn’t even as there are empty tables around) if you cant maintain the standard. ADDED AFTER BUSINESS RESPONSE: Thank you for your response. As you can see from the timing of the above review - this review was placed prior to payment and leaving your store. While we appreciate the removed meals (due to being burnt) and discount, it still doesn’t excuse the service and food we originally received. My review was purely based on that. And from what I can see in these reviews, we are not the only people who have felt that your food and service is not of a high standard so please, don’t be so quick to respond with how you “fixed” the situation and maybe instead focus on how you can stop letting it happen so you don’t have to fix anything.

First time here. Will be coming this area every week so I give it a go. Honest review. Ordered a big breakfast , egg cooked badly no seasoning . Bacon overcook can’t even chew. A cafe but free Wifi doesn’t work. No point to come back again.

I ordered the chicken quinoa salad. For $24 I got a plate of baby spinach leaves and one chicken tenderloin sliced up. I don’t mind paying but I expect an actual meal, not a light snack. There are also no toilets in the cafe. Very disappointed. Won’t be returning.

Looks decent but food and service is just down right third class, had chips and vege burger, burger decent and edible but chips were not even cooked, were soggy and reeked of old reused oil smell which is downright disgusting, I kinda feel sick after tasting 2 -3 chips, when leaving as well no one cared enough to ask me how was the meal or anything. Well🤷‍♂️ it just sucks I guess.

Food is nice here, no complaints about it. But the service is pretty low. While ordering and paying at the cashier, the manager serving me was on his phone talking the whole time.

Tried there new frappe range and it was so good. I ordered the lemon lime bitter and will definatly be coming back to try the rest of the range. I highly recommend trying it on a hot summer's day 😊

Best coffee and breakfast I've had in my 5 years in Melbourne. The Halloumi Bruschetta was 10/10. Compliments to the chef and the lovely front of house staff 😊

I had breakfast at many Degani restaurants over a period and I personally felt the taste marginally low over here as compare to other Degani reataurants. Interior atmosphere is decent however from outside its not very welcoming and fives a feeling that restaurant is closed. Until I pushed the door to open, I was imagining that there won't be anybody inside. Overall experience was still ok.

Good coffee but we ordered croissant and it tasted dry and chewy, likely from the day before. We complained to them but no satisfying response

Just moved in the area, my daily go to place for delicious espressos. Tried their single origin was just ok but i guess their grinder was playing up. Wish they have more options for filtered coffee or single origins. Cheers

We usually eat at Westfield deganis and they’re always amazing, decided to pop into Epping and can say I’m not so impressed, “big breakfast” only had 1 piece of bread. I had the club sandwich which was pretty good to be fair except my chips came out cold.

Been going here a few time and very nice egg omelette and hot chocolate always goes there very good serve also highly recommended

Great service and food

Been going for years and normally very good. Today the service was poor, they didnt have food items that were on menu and staff kept coming back to table after we ordered to change things. They brought out the wrong drinks. The food wasn't as good as it has been. I'd pre-booked a table and the middle of 3 tables pushed together was broken making it difficult to eat. As leaving, told staff about the broken table and the response was, "yeah we know"... the level of disinterest was astounding. $150 for 6 people (2 of them kids) with this experience is not ok. We didnt make a scene, we paid and left but will not be returning. I get COVID hit hard and I want to support local businesses however with this experience, I would not suggest this place for a sit down meal in future.

Coffee is very average. Every time I go in, the staff are always rude, no smile or eye contact. My three year old daughter tried to talk to the lady at the counter and she was met with no response. If you don’t want to speak to people, don’t be in customer service.

I been coming here every morning for the last 6 months. The food & coffee is good, firendly staff and the service is awesome I sometimes sit here for 3 hours straight and order only one coffee and no one asks me to move or anything, they are very friendly I strongly recommend this place

Thai beef salad was bland and beef overcooked. Salmon overcooked. Pumpkin salad had little to no pumpkin. Whole meal was super disappointing Should have just gone to Aldi

Absolutely friendly place beautiful decor but most of all, very tasty and fresh food awesome service thoroughly recommend and they have arrange of alcohol and other beverages.

Clean, friendly and caring staff and wonderful food. Very accommodating to young children, and a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a cosy place to eat or catch up with friends.

Food was really just ok. I have visited other Degani in the past(different outlets)and recommended lunch there whilst meeting a friend. Very sad to say the food wasn't great. There was a loud banging of the door several times. My piece of salmon took 40 to 45minutes to come. My friend was done with her lunch. Coffee milkshake was really bad..I wouldn't recommend. Very sorry for the bad review, however I really don't like paying a lot of money for bad food.

Beautiful food... when they first opened I was a little sceptical to return so I hadn’t been in a while ... but upon my return I am happy to say I will keep going as they have really stepped up their game and the food is really great!

Absolutely suburb. One of the best smash avos I've had around town. This is the Epic Epping Tower smashed avo. We had a friend run late after we had ordered a coffee, and they were so nice in taking it away and making a fresh one for when they arrived :) Great food, friendly people. Give it a try

I love love love the coffee, the brilliant thing is I don't have to travel to chapel street or Lygon to get brilliant coffee on a Sunday anymore, I just have to go for a short walk up the road and get the perfect coffee from Degani, the customer service from the manager to all the staff is friendly and welcoming, why would you go anywhere else ?!?!

Been here a few times. First experience wasn't great and i thought ok give them the benefit of the doubt but when i came back a second and third time the food and coffee was actually inedible. Coffee was burnt and bitter and my partner had a hash brown stack that wasn't seasoned and full of chilly flakes plus it was cold. My toasted ham and cheese sandwich wasn't even cooked through with cold ham and unmelted cheese. Wont be going back. Ill always give a place a second or 3rd go but every experience was a disappointment. Staff however were always nice and friendly.

Use to visit here once a month for breakfast before moving out of country.. Guaranteed to walk out with a full belly of delicious hearty goodness! The plates are huge, service is super efficient, polite and professional, and has a great atmosphere....even when nursing a hangover ha! No matter what your love, its a great dining experience! Highly recommend!

had to have a veg brekkie... the beans in the meal were rubbish.... as if it was not beans with tomato sauce but poorly cooked Indian beans gravy and tasted more like the stale veg.... I replaced the toasts with gluten free.. charged $3 EXTRA FOR that... but served the toasts of supermarket's basic gluten free bread which you get a whole pack for $4.50...I dn't mind the price cuz i always pay extra for gluten free everywhere... but serve quality.. the whole packet is for $4.50 and they charged $3 for 2 slices... :(
