Exceptional service, very friendly staff and really good food

The shop is nice. Coffee is fine. Mushroom pizza very boring, no flavour and not enough cheese. The Hawaiian pizza was ok but dry around the crusts.

Very nice place for a meal. Their all day big breakfast is really huge portion and very tasty! Ice mocha is well flavoured and also in a large mug. The staff is prompt and friendly and the venue is very family friendly overlooking the All Nations Park. Overall a nice place for a lazy weekend meal.

I tried many Degani shops in Melbourne. I will say: Here is the best one you must try! The best Deganis in Melbourne. I was so surprised that it was packed, we couldn’t get a seat and didn’t think to book! It was a lovely vibe, food was fantastic - large portions and so were the drinks. We will definitely visit again soon.

Sunday early afternoon and the place wear heaving with people. We ordered a frappe and an open lamb souvlaki for my senior mum. The plate of two skewers of lamb was served with salad, pitta bread and tzatziki. The food tasted delicious and the frappe was good too but the nearly one hour wait wasn't very good. Don't think I'll visit again mainly due to the long wait.

Degani at the Northcote plaza has been always busy & very popular dining place. Nice friendly and very attentive staff. They are very helpful to check with chef about the size of steak and additional ingredients etc ☆5+ The steak comes 400g and ribeye 450g with bone. Medium rare ribeye was very tender and juicy 😋☆5 Pita bread & dip was beautiful ☆5 and I ate most of cheese and garlic pizza ☆4. Very thick Chicken parma was looking very filling too. Personally I like huge & flat layer. ☆4 Garden salad was fresh☆5 Salmon steak was very pale pink & eggshell colour tells very old fresh? Salmon. My son said it was very old and wasn't taste great-☆1 My garlic prawn was tasted acidity and my son said it had white wine sauce. My chef 👨‍🍳 hubby said it has funny taste. I tasted too long in freezer taste. -☆1 Thick shake should be more thicker ☆2 My son needs to pay extra $5 (5 icecream scoops) to be ☆5🤣 We ordered takeaway vegetables with special ginger smelt beautiful😍☆5 If we order the non seafood dishes, the scores will be ☆4+🙂👍 May be just cross out the seafood on their menu😉

I briefly visited Degani on a recent trip to Northcote and pleasantly surprised by the look and feel of the store. The staff were friendly and were very accommodating to the patrons. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere and seating arrangement. If I do visit this cafe again I'll try sitting inside and order a different drink. The only part of my visit that I didn't enjoy was the wait for my food. Besides that I really enjoyed my visit.

In the Aviation industry it’s very rare to find weekends when I find I come with my partner to this beautiful place and there it’s One of the world best place to have carbonara pasta and this where you get to customise your own pizza as per the requirements. Plus great vibes and no wonder why this place is so busy!becon

Such good service and such good coffee. It was a busy day. We ordered 3 coffees within 30 seconds of arriving and the coffee appeared in less than 3 minutes and it was top 3 coffees I've ever had. I have only ever ordered 2 coffees on one sitting a handful of times and I NEARLY ordered a 3rd. Such a great coffee, not too strong, no coffee bean residue at the bottom. Just a great coffee. The food: wow. Great variety we wanted to try new things and we really want this place to come to Adelaide, so so good! Sensational, highly recommend thank you very very much

Got the gym junkie which is grilled chicken, steamed veggies and rice. Absolutely perfect... if I can add anything more lemon wedges... took a while for staff to come, really loud inside... good variety of menu.. all meals were great...

I planned my mums birthday here last month and it was a great experience. We all loved it. The food was amazing the staff were very friendly and accommodating and overall amazing. Big thank you to Tamy who helped me with organising the food menus to cater for normal and vegan meals for some of our guests and ensuring the night went well. A big thank you to the staff who helped out on the day. We will definitely be back again!

Constant great service and good food. I’ve been coming here 3 times per week for the last two years. The service is always excellent ,the food is consistently at a very nice quality and presented well. Great views with the park across the street, you almost feel like you are at a holiday destination here.

Putting aside Degani Northcote is one of the best coffee hangouts in the North. I must congratulate Tammy and the team for putting on a fantastic spread of food for us. Highly recommend!!

I've been many times and it always brings me joy. The staff is incredibly friendly and always happy to chat. 😊 🌟 Plus, the food is absolutely delicious! 🍕 The pizza is amazing, lamb souvlaki with Halloumi it's super delicious! Decent place and food but the FOB Greek tall waitress was ridiculously rude. No hello. No recommendations not even a smile. Just “are you ready” Not knowing I was Greek they decided to chat about bringing in some weed next shift for her to try. A bad look guys

I met a friend for a brief catch up, sat outside in the smoking area. It took a while to get service. Once that happened staff were pleasant and helpful and the juice I ordered arrived fairly quickly and was refreshing. Checkout was smooth and helpful, the two table orders were combined and we were offered the option to pay separately. On balance a pleasant experience in a place convenient for both of us

Came for lunch and had the mixed grill platter, was just delicious. It was so busy but our beautiful waitress Jayde was so friendly and attentive as she is every time we go there. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone - the food is wonderful and staff (especially Jayde) are fantastic at their jobs.

Ordered the ribeye steak medium rare. Unfortunately the steak came rare which was a shame but i personally dont hate it. The crust was good and it was seasoned properly. Came with green beans and potatoes which was nice to balance.

Once visited around 10:10 pm for one pizza order and they said 3 or 4 minutes. After 10 minutes again I went there for the order whether it was ready or not but still they gave no attention and again confidently said two minutes. Altogether I waited 25 minutes for one pizza!! "Wow what a great service really appreciating" is the sentence they do not deserve.😥

We had iced coffees and a health slice here today. Both were absolutely delicious. The coffee was strong and flavourful. The slice very tasty and seemingly full of good yummy things. It was a nice day too and gorgeous looking out over All Nations Park. Good work by the staff here today too. So polite and efficient. Top marks from me all round today. It might be a chain place but it’s very good.

While other eating venues are cutting back on menu selection, understandably with staff shortage etc Degani still offers a wide selection and is one reason l suspect why people keep coming back. Reasonably priced, good service and a bumbling atmosphere.

I haven’t been to Degani Northcote for a while, and have only had their coffee which never disappointed - 5/5 for their coffee. I was in the area today and feeling hungry so went past for some lunch. The staff are just as I remember, friendly and inviting. I was recommended the mixed grill so went with that. Wow! The picture speaks for itself. Excellent presentation, smell and very tasteful. Wasn’t dry and I could taste the freshness. Mixed grills tend to disappoint, but this was something else! Generous portions for the price. Will definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate ordering the same meal. Have always recommended this place for coffee, but now highly recommend for their delicious food. Satisfied tastebuds today!

Saw the reviews of this place and it looked promising. Went here and ordered a Latte to take away. The coffee was the worst coffee I've ever had. Bitter, overheated and too much milk foam made it undrinkable. Would not recommend going here. Big yikes.

Amazing quality food & always fresh. Love the Lamb & Halloumi Salad and salt & pepper Calamari. Staff are always friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere one of my favourite places. Degani Northcote you rock!

Came for dinner wiry friends on Sunday. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED, the chicken caesar salad. Wasn't expecting much, but it was hearty and every mouthful had an explosion of taste and texture, just wow. My favorite dish so far here. Will definitely be having this again. Please don't ever change this recipe.

Busy yet nice ambience. No customer service, staff seemed very stressed while taking the order as the place was really busy and also calls kept the phones ringing. Coffee was average.

Great service. Fresh food. Nice menu. The pizza oven was cranking and the outdoor seating was well heated from above. Great for groups and catch ups.

Seafood platter was very bland. Garlic prawns were tasteless. For the money disappointed as this was my go to restaurant now thinking twice if I would go again.

The porterhouse steak was so juicy and delicious. The lemon potatoes were deliciously acidic and a great accompaniment to the steak. Excellent service by staff as well.
