What a wonderful dinner. We went to QT kitchen for dinner and ordered two entrees and two mains plus fried rice. Al of the courses were wonderful and the flavours were delicious. We were particularly impressed with the service. It was attentive and not overbearing. I recommend this restaurant for couples or groups. We are looking forward to coming back with a group.

There were four people in our dining party none of them requiring wheelchair access. However, if it was required, there is a lovely ramp to enter the restaurant with. The service staff were lovely, kind, gentle and all-round beautiful people. The food was incredible, and I even asked for a little takeaway box for the chicken wings that we didn’t quite finish there

This place had been on my "To Eat" list for awhile. Happily, we made it today. There were so many temptations on the substantial menu, but we couldn't go past the recommended special, so all of us ordered the same dish with different proteins. The hot stone bowl soon arrived with aromatic broth and, in my case, a beef rib. Another bowl arrived with my Wagyu Beef slices, barely cooked egg, Enoki Mushroom, Vietnamese mint and sauces. It's basically a deconstructed Pho, with a dash of creativity. The broth had amazing flavours while the beef rib was so tender, it fell apart on touch. We put the nearly raw Wagyu Beef slices into the broth to cook them, so we were in control of how well they're cooked. Staff were super attentive throughout the visit. Some fairly unique furniture provided visual interest in the modernly decorated space. Tea was presented in beautiful T2 teapot/cup sets. A lot of effort has gone into the food and presentation here. Conclusion: an impressive experience worth repeating. 👍💖

After driving past for years, we finally went last night and were amazed at the high level of service and food. We started with shared small bites, and each had main and dessert. From the amazing presentation of the cocktails and even the red lemonade for our daughter. The food was fantastic, and presentation, as was the quality. We certainly will make this local gem a regular dining place highly recommend. Fantastic job guys. 👏

Love this place! We go back quite often because of how satisfying the food always is! Note* They have changed the menu, so I've posted the latest menu on the review here We got so much food, highlights include: 1. Kingfish Sashimi 2. Pork and Beef vermicelli noodle salad 3. Duck Curry 4. Softshell Crab Bao 5. Lychee Coconut and Mint Mocktail 6. Crispy Chicken Wings Service is always great! The servers there are very lovely and accomodating. Food also came pretty quickly, they serve the small plates first then the big plates and there's not much waiting time in between. Food is just muah!💋 super refreshing and so delicious! The only critique is that they've increased the prices by a lot, so it is on the expensive side, but for a occasion or date night, I would totally recommend! (Maybe not a regular dinner option though haha) Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did! Ps. They don't take amex as payment

Enjoyed a really nice lunch with my partner a couple weeks ago after being recommended to try this place from a friend and we were just amazed by the presentation (and of course taste) of the food! The staff were so lovely, kind and accomodating and even stopped to chat and joke around with us when delivering our meals and drinks. Such a great little place and can’t wait to come back in the future and try more of the menu. Highly recommend to anyone in the area 🤩

I came here twice on my anniversary and birthday, with my mom and my partner. Both occasions were wonderful and the food is beyond expectations, both in quality and presentation. It can get pretty busy even on weekdays so I highly recommend to book in advance. Ps: the staff were very nice and friendly too.

Second visit after few years. Food and cocktails are still in good quality ! Love their duck gua bao and lotus rice :) Food can be served as vegetarian friendly. Nice atmosphere for event/gathering. Friendly staff even tho they are busy. Just need to allow some extra time for them to attend :) Parking/ street parking available. Highly recommended 👍🏻

For me this is the no.1 best Vietnamese restaurant in Melbourne. It tick all the boxes for fine and casual dining, food, services and prices.

Beautiful place with beautiful food! Definitely an elevation on standard Vietnamese faire, so if you want something special, this is the place! Everything looks absolutely gorgeous and the setup is comfortable as well. Would recommend.

This place was fantastic!! The atmosphere is relaxed and calm. The service is amazing, the staff was very friendly and pending of anything we needed. The is from another planet, the scallops... wowww.. Highly recommendable however a bit pricey, although it is really worth it. I will come back to QT Kitchen.

Cooking Vietnamese food is not hard. Cooking to bring it to a next level is a real challenge. That's why we need a Vietnamese restaurant like QT Kitchen as they have done it so well. We have tried both lunch and dinner menus which are absolutely fantastic. Their drinks are also a must try. The customer service is very amazing. Highly recommended!

As a regular customer to QT kitchen, I would be very honest to say that I was never let down by their service and quality food. Food there was delicious and unique, where they made in their own way. Staffs there were friendly and attentive. I love that they prepared toys for the little ones and decorate the place for different themes. It’s always fun to go to QT kitchen.

It was a fun experience to have pho on stone pot with real gold on the wagyu beef! I personally recommended the Vietnamese sald with warm vermicelli, perfect blend of the sauce, meat and vermicelli, you got the refreshing after taste in your mouth.

Terrific staff engagement. Not cloying, just pleasant. Food was more on the interesting side, rather than wow. Will try more starters next time, as they provided the look at that factor. Nearby cocktails looked amazy. $75pp degustation probably worth it.

Very nice place and service, food is great. It could be very noisy when the place is packed. Other than that price is not cheap, $50-70 per person with out alcohol, which it is price of an entrees and main and dessert. Food is match every dollar you spent, highly recommended!!

Food presentation was excellent, service was great. It was a little pricey for what we ordered. The pho was expensive and warm not hot.

EDIT (SECOND VISIT): The food was awesome again. However this time we were seated right near the kitchen despite having booked a table and given our card details. The couple before us were walk-ins and were accommodated with a better table while we were made to wait to be seated at the worse spot. Staff were very apologetic, but nonetheless we were left with a poor seating location and a slightly sour feeling. Still a great restaurant, but I expected the attention to detail we loved on our first visit. Back down to four stars, but will give it another chance. (FIRST VISIT): Awesome restaurant with a big menu that's hard to choose from given there are so many nice options. All the food looked amazing, and we'll need to come back to try more of the options. The duck curry was cooked beautifully, and the meat was quite rare in the middle, making for a nice bite. The sauce was deliciously rich. The roast pork vermicelli salad was also amazing, with juicy and tender lotus root adding a real brightness to the food. The soft shell crab bao was herbaceous and fragrant, and the fried chicken was really fresh and light despite being fried. See you again soon, and thanks for the great occasion.

Every dish was a treat for the eyes and taste buds! Ordered the $110 set menu. Every course was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked meat and seafood, well balanced flavours.

This place is amazing. Every single dish tastes amazing with great presentation. Staff is very welcoming and a great atmosphere! I am definitely going back soon.

BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS food at QT! I drive for nearly an hour and it's worth it . We went with a few dishes for dinner and the portions were very generous. My friend's were raving at.how.gokd.the food was so I was pleased as they were my guests and I didn't want to disappoint. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They also make their own desserts in-house so check out the fridge next to the bar for the options available.

Had brunch here and got a really basic meal, that was done extremely well. Sauces were on point and worked well with the other textures of the dish. I just wish my dish came with an extra piece of bread for it’s size/price. Overall, a really nice brunch place, both food and atmosphere was fantastic.. Didn’t realise they also do dinner and is a bar/event space as well. Would be back here to give dinner a try.

Pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of food here. Modernised Vietnamese cuisine packed with flavors and beautiful presentation. Highly recommend their savory mini pancakes and whole baby snapper with tamarind sauce.

Really good choice for causal dining or group party. We had a family lunch there for birthday celebration, the restaurant helped to make the table and decoration; had banquet as recommend, nice presentation as well as the taste! Meanwhile received good service and the staff is always there when you need them. Happy to back again and Really recommend!

Pictured are the wagyu steak (main) and banana fritters (dessert) - both fabulous - but we've also particularly enjoyed the wontons, VFC chicken wings, chicken curry and sweet potato fries. Treat yourself a date night with fullness of modern Vietnamese. The QTs chefs know how to put much of love and effort into their dishes. Hot Stone wagu beef pho, charcoal grilled local squid...so on. Enjoy easy going, friendly, buzzing vibe with some cocktails, or just a glass of wine. Staff was attentive and friendly. Not as much as a glamorous place but surely a one can't be missed out.

One of my favourite places to eat at in Glen Iris! I have been here twice now - once for dinner in 2021 which was busy, and just recently in 2022 for lunch which was not as busy as dinner, but still buzzing with customers. Both these times the staff were so friendly and accommodating. As soon as you step in the door you are greeted with welcoming smiles and tended to almost immediately. They will talk you through their recommendations if you ask for any, and they will check in on you throughout your meal without being too intrusive. The ambiance, and the restaurant setting overall is very well laid out, with nice cultural touches of Vietnam. The food tastes incredible, and came within a reasonable timeframe. Pictured is their vermicelli noodle salad with lemongrass beef. The sizes of beef were very generous! They were so soft and tender. The dish also contained peanuts which was a nice extra textural component; some fresh vegetables, just the right amount of chilli, and a delicious Nuoc Cham sauce. In terms of drinks - they have a selection both hot and cold drinks. Pictured is QT’s lychee, coconut and mint drink - flavours came through strong which was a surprise as drinks similar to this kind of drink tend to taste more watery to me. They always also have such a great selection of desserts out front. Highly recommend any of their cheesecakes and/or their panna cotta. Pictured is their cookies and creme cheesecake. 12/10 if I could provide it, honestly. Tasted amazing. Have been twice and would come again!
