Excellent food and martinis. The staff are superb and know when to give you privacy or to have a chat - they genuinely like their job and their enthusiasm shows. Seafood is fresh and delicious, the specials are good as well - and they change daily. Charming, classy décor and a clean place to have a good meal.

Went in by accidentally without a booking but the host was really nice and welcoming. Seafood and meat are fresh, good quality and tasty. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely perfect for a special night out.

The $99 3 course option filled our tummies and our hearts. The space felt a bit too tight but we will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.

Have come to Centonove a few times for lunch and dinner. Quality service, friendly staff, beautiful food. I love the ricotta entree, barramundi, spanner spaghetti, great chocolate fondant. The owner very kindly brought us extra outdoor heaters. Best restaurant in Kew. Highly recommend. Will be back plently more times!

Completely flawless lunch today. The service was exactly as you’d expect for the quality of restaurant. The food and drink where spot on. I had both entree and mains off the specials menu. Sydney oysters and pork belly with a side of Chianti. Perfectly delivered. Thanks for a great lunch.

We had very bad experience there. My husband gave me birthday surprise and he booked table for us. The customer service was very bad. The young female server came to serve us somehow become very rude after knowing that we are vegan. And she couldnt provide much options. She asked the owner but owner didn’t bother to come. She thrown the bread on our plate that we are not paying for the dinner. We ordered what we understand. Food wasn’t very good. My special day became very bad day. We asked the server could you please ask the owner to come but he didn’t come. So yeah not many options for vegetarian or vegan. 😢😢

We have been going to Centonove for years and have never had a bad experience. We were lucky enough to have a bit of special treatment from Jessie in the cellar room on Friday. This place is an institution and we urge you to check it out. Great food and an extensive wine list.but with out any pretension. We love this place! Thanks Jessie and team, you'll see us again soon!

Yum,yum,YUM. My wife and I had a wonderful dinner in the upstairs dining area and food was delicious along with lovely atmosphere. We started with stuffed zucchini flowers, followed by the pork cotoletta and the fish special. Dinner was topped off with sharing the custard dessert (and should have ordered two) which was mouthwatering. Very good selection of wines also. Exceptional venue and service.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. We had called up to check if we could make a booking as the online system showed they were fully booked but they managed to squeeze us in. We were also running late and we had asked if we could preorder our entrees so that it could be ready upon our arrival and they happily accommodated our request. The food was to die for- it was packed with flavours that were certainly enjoyable at every bite. Depending on where you’re seated, the area may be a little tight if you’re wanting an intimate setting but other than that I would definitely be back and also recommend!

Enjoyed an absolutely stunning three course meal here last night celebrating my friends birthday. The entire evening was so wonderful - staff were fabulous - so professional and seamless. Quality and presentation of food was outstanding and the wine list is so impressive. The feel of the restaurant is intimate, classy and sophisticated and I simply love it. Three course meal is $99 pp and there are so many wonderful options to choose from. Enjoyed the stuffed Zucchini Blossoms with Prawn for entree and shared the Bisteca cooked perfectly medium rare to my liking. My friends enjoyed the Tassie oysters and the kingfish crudo - both had great comments. Had sides of green beans tossed in pesto which were lovely and the roast potatoes, love that they offer half serves so you can try more ! These are at an additional charge outside the three course but very worth it depending what you order as your main. Was great accompaniment to the steak. The desserts were great - creme caramel the clear winner beating Tiramisu which is usually my favourite at an Italian restaurant. The Langhe Nebbiolo I choose was divine - earth, dry cherries, soft and supple with elegant fine tannins a great choice to pair with the various courses. Fabulous being our hood suburb restaurant that delivers real quality! Will definitely be back.

Centonove has been a special occasion venue for us for many years now. We were disappointed on our last visit for a couple of reasons. The steak we ordered (for 2), was missing seasoning, tasted of a lower quality and was sliced at unusually thick intervals. It was cooked exactly as we requested being medium rare and there was a nice crust formed, however it lacked flavour and had a grainy texture. I compared this to the last time I had a steak there which was pre covid and that one was amazing. Perhaps kitchen staff or meat supplier has changed over. The other is the set menu. Whilst $99 for a set menu isn’t expensive by today’s standards, most restaurants have moved away from charging a covid set menu price. All that said, the duck and pasta dishes were tasty and generously portioned.

This is an immaculately presented restaurant with fine service, a beautiful atmosphere and exquisite food. The service is of the highest level with genuine, professional staff who deliver a perfect experience. The food is delicious, well presented and served with care. The ambience created by the capable and professional team, coupled with excellent food made this meal a magnificent experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow! These guys know how to get it right. Everything about the evening was perfect. A must visit restaurant. I had Vitello tonnato and the 12 hour lamb (share dish) A very special Italian restaurant.

A most memorable meal. A varied and artful menu that translated in vibrant fresh deliciousness. Each course presented as a story on the plate. And as for the service, we thank Jennifer for the friendliest and most attentive wait service we have experienced anywhere in the world.

Our daughters have nut and seed allergies and these wonderful people went above and beyond with their care to make sure our daughters’ dining experience went smoothly. Great food, lovely atmosphere and lovely staff! A big Thankyou to Jennifer who was wonderful on the night!

We had an amazing experience. Every mouthful of every meal was incredible and the service was some of the best we have had. Everyone was so friendly and authentically Italian. Stefano was our waiter, was so engaging and he couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The wine list was superb also. We cant wait to go back. The desserts also were AMAZING. THANK YOU, we can't wait to come back.

My friend and I love this restaurant. The services impeccable. The staff are courteous and helpful; there when need them but they are not intrusive. This is a restaurant you that you take someone you are trying to impress. The food is magnificent.

Delicious food, good service, a beautiful venue. We were very lucky and were seated in a private room surrounded by wine bottles! Overall a wonderful dining experience!

Have dined here twice and both times the food and drinks were amazing. Staff here are lovely and food service is efficient. One of the best Italian restaurants I've dined at in Melbourne.
