Terrific place. We had the banquet and it was excellent. I couldn’t fault any of the dishes. Service was good throughout too. Cost was reasonable as well. The cigarette smoke wafting in the door from the patrons outside was the only negative. Nice place. I’d happily return anytime.

Dropped in here for dinner while driving past, and discovered a great Greek restaurant. The staff were very friendly. The ambience was lively- so maybe not the place for a quiet reserved night! The food was fast and delicious.

Amazing authentic Greek restaurant! There are few restaurants out there but this one is 100% authentic Greek! Not modified for people who cannot 👅 taste! Their food is exactly home style authentic Greek 🇬🇷! We went there on Sunday lunchtime. It was not busy so we had great service. They have nice homemade bread for mix dips but do not order another bread as it will fill you up too quick! But it is hard to resist nice home made bread!!! I highly recommend this restaurant. I hope they will not modify their food!

Authentic, heart warming Greek food with family style service. Dined here for Mother’s Day with a large family group and had a great experience. The service was great - the waiters were attentive and genuine and carried a family like vibe. Food was very tasty with good portion sizes for sharing amongst a large group. The calamari and lamb gyros were particularly good, as well as the pita breads. Parking is a bit tricky, most obvious is either on the main road or side streets, but there is a very small car park for Ilios off Miller Street. Thanks to the owners, chefs and waiters for a great night!

Celebrated my baby's birthday at this place. Perfect choice! The service is amazing, staff make you feel like family. Delicious food, great atmosphere, lots of fun. Can't wait to go back. Thank you A for making us all feel so welcome and looking after us so well. Can't wait to be back.

I was very satisfied after our meal at Ilios Taverna. We started off with dips and bread. The taramosalata and smoked egglpant dips were particularly good. We followed that with fried calamari, which was perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside and we'll seasoned. For mains, we had a mouth watering serve of lamb cutlets as well as the chicken gyros, both of which came with delicious lemon potatoes. We washed this down with a couple of import beers and then settled into a food coma. I'll definitely be heading back next time I'm hankering for Greek food.

Very traditional style, feels like you are there. Great, relaxed vibe and food. Generous servings. Perfect for a long Sunday lunch or celebration. Kitchen know what they are doing and do it very well. Big high five to them. Great wine list at exceptional value for the quality. Will definitely return. Just wish I had had room for dessert.

Ordered takeaway: Food was tasty however portions are small/ overpriced and our order wasn't correct (misheard at time of order but order wasn't repeated back or receipt provided). Also forgot to add tomato and feta to the Greek salad. Called the restaurant to address and they were apologetic but apathetic to the situation.

Such a lovely change to go to this authentic, original place, which offered welcoming service from the off. Food was off the charts, and that Tzatziki dip, gee! Very lucky I live so close. Go to this place if you want a good feed in a family vibe with no nonsense

today is the first time in several years that i have come to ilios and found the service to be poor. the air conditioning is not working and can’t hear ourselves apeak . had to wait for over an hour for our meal. food has arrived and looks nothing like it has been . seems like the owner is no longer in charge and the place is not running as usual! keep this up and it will lose all of the clients it’s built up over the years!

Food came out very quickly, but we were there pretty early. Food was plentiful. The dips, calamari, and the lamb from the mixed platter were all really tasty. Even had Mythos and Fix beers for the real Greek experience. Staff were good with us and our allergies.

My 3 siblings had been a few times in the past and highly recommened this place ..We came from Adelaide and just loved it start to finish..We ll be back next trip over! Great work guys!!

Had dinner here tonight and it was excellent. Can recommend the feta saganaki and mixed gyros. Next time would try the calamari and loukoumades as a few went by and looked delicious. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. Very family friendly. Will be back

It was my first time dining at Ilios. My boyfriend took me there for my birthday. The moment I step into the restaurant the atmosphere’ was amazing and staff are so friendly and attentive. Food is great and tasty. Excellent service, makes us feel like home. Great place for dining❤️❤️

What a lovely traditional Greek tavern. We celebrated my mum's 85th birthday and we were all very happy with the food and service from our waiter, Michael. We ordered the banquet and all was delicious. The weather was unusually balmy and this added to the Greek atmosphere. Thank you for making our celebrations memorable for us all, especially for my mother.

I took my dad as sort of a joke because he had just got back from holidaying in Greece. He remarked the food was as good, if not better than what he had over there. They slightly stuffed up my son’s “kids calamari” order, but made up for it with extra calamari for the table. Seriously, best calamari I’ve had in years! Save room for dessert, so good.

Lovely dinner and great spot for families, super crowded on weekends so book a table early!
