Have been here twice now and have been hugely impressed both times. Genuine Indian food and great flavours. Highly recommend this to any fan of Indian food!

Found this place online. Because of the good review online, 6 of us visited, and as it turned out, it is the right choice! Friendly staff, food came up quickly and hot. We can choose how hot (spicy) the food ia even though some food is indicated as hot, in other words, the sauce is not premixed, which is really good. We all loved the food we ordered. It's hidden behind the shops on the street and a bit difficult to find. You will find the stairs next to the Thai restaurant to walk upstairs to the back.

Excellent food. Very fresh and nice flavor. Good portion size. Used to work close by and still buy from this restaurant few times a month. Very friendly pleople. Won’t be disappointed if you try.

Highly recommended. The food was very nice, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff were very friendly but could have been a bit more attentive. Just a minor blemish. Overall, a very enjoyable evening, and I will be back for sure.

This is the the best Indian food I have had since visiting India. My only regret is that I hadn't discovered it sooner. Honestly the food and service was awesome. I ordered via Menulog with GF needs and was impressed with their help re best options.

Never tried Indian food before, I heard good things about this restaurant from friends and when finally decided to try it was pleasantly surprised. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in recommending dishes , 11/10 will eat there again

Went with a group of 30 people, couldn’t handle this number. Ended up with rice and liquid dishes. Food cold and a small golf ball of cake for dessert. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Had the chance to have a lot of repeat business. Ask to talk to manager/owner. No one there

Three hallmarks of good Indian food: First, they have a proper clay Tandoor. Second they have some regional variety on the menu. Third, great and friendly service. Can't go wrong.

Went here for the first time tonight. Well priced, great quality food and friendly service. Really quick turn around on a Saturday night too. We will definitely be back.

Great vegetarian options, very fresh and not oily at all. It’s our weekly routine to come get takeaway from here then watch re runs of the Office US at our home located nearby. Our favorite episodes are mainly ones where Jim annoys Dwight or maybe it’s the one where Jim puts all of Dwight’s stationary in jello. Actually, yes that’s the best one.

I’ve eaten in multiple times as well as ordering take away for delivery and pick up. You will not be disappointed, the prices are reasonable, the food is absolutely delicious, the service is friendly and efficient, I can not fault basecamp Templestowe.
