Tables never wiped and service always super average and no greeting. no cutlery either. burgers are small and not worth the price, won't be going back.

As a long-time customer, to say I am disappointed in my takeaway order tonight would be an understatement. The meat in the burger was not only cold, but grossly overcooked (to the point where it was chewy/rubbery), whilst the lettuce was dried out and not fresh. The chips were cold and soggy (saturated in oil and curled over). The first time I haven’t ever finished Grill’d chips and had to toss them out. Sad to say I won’t be returning. I cannot express how disappointed I am, as I was raving about this same order I got exactly two weeks ago (freshly cooked burger and chips to perfection). Perhaps because it was a busier night this time around; however, that should not compromise on quality. Safe to say I won’t be returning.

Are these dark, charred things sweet potatoes? Take it back to the store and ask the clerk to change it, one of the waitresses has a very bad attitude! Very impolite! The patties in the burger were also dark and bitter, very bad experience! ! !

Instead of the company paying their staff correct wages for working during Easter …… THEY expect their customers to pay 15% surcharge on ALL purchases / transactions to cover their employee wages ….. (let’s not mention extra charges for all electronic transactions) …. LAST TIME eating here …. Food is good BUT no one should be charged extra to cover wages. …. FYI “Look Out for the big Red sign!!!!” F OFF GRILLED …. Worst thing of ALL is that they’re NOT being transparent about it - They make you aware of the 15% A F T E R you place the order . After my transaction and complaint and whitest watching the next customer … they didn’t even bother informing the next client . I guess they didn’t want another negative complaint. Most of the time this place is great. Have been going here for years. After living interstate for 3 years I came back to show my mates how awesome this place is to be disappointed by the food and the state of the kitchen. I ordered through my phone at the table (19) and they missed 3 sauces that came with the chip share plate and our 2 drinks. When I went to the counter to get them, I saw their floor where they dress the burgers and it was shocking to leave a space in that condition especially when the public can see it. If I go back and it's better, I'll change my review.

Grill'd specialises in gourmet burgers, and they really are very good. Unlike most other Grill'd restaurants, this one has an outdoor seating area and is located as part of the Burwood One shopping complex which is historically significant on that it is the site of the very first Kmart store in Australia, which is still their after around 50 years of operation. Burgers are delicious, always freshly made and there is a large range including Wagyu, Beyond Meat, Vegan, Vegetarian, Low Carb, Chicken, Lamb, Big Kids, Little Kids, etc etc. Their chips are amazing, as well as standard, Sweet Potatoe, and Zucchini chips. Licenced as well so you can have a beer or wine with your meal. Only drawback is it's quite pricey as a burger is upwards of $14, Chips upward of $4 + whatever your having for a drink. But it is a licensed restaurant and those burgers ARE fantastic!

Inconsistent. Either really good or not. Given the constant price increases on things I expect better consistency. I did give feedback as a member of their program but all they did was basically apologise and say they’ll pass it on. Cheese on burgers sometimes not melted. Burgers sometimes served not very hot. Chips routinely have their herb salt on them even when asked for them without it. Tables not routinely cleaned.

Terrible dining experience! The online order platform indicates food is to be ready at 7:37, however, it’s actually ready at 7:48 (the collect time on receipt is fake.) and one of the burger is completely cold. I have to return it for reheating. When this burger is served again, the patty and ingredients are reheated but the bun is still cold. We ordered ONION FREE but onion is still in the burger. I already don’t want to complain the attitude of the staff on ground - perhaps she’s been tired on a busy Saturday night.

This store might need a bit of staff training. I've ordered from here for just a few times and two of the orders were incorrect. The first time, it was totally different from what I ordered, and the second time, neither of the two burgers was correct. There was no sauce that came with the chips either. One of the burgers didn't have any lettuce or tomato. Just ridiculous. Since it was take away, I wasn't able to go back and get it exchanged. It was not good experience. I spent the money, but didn't get what I was expecting. This is always one of my favourite burger brands and I've ordered at a few other stores. None of them made any mistakes. I don't want to check the burger in the box when I'm supposed to simply taking away the paper bag. I look forward to each meal at the store, but it's disappointing unfortunately. I won't go back to this store anymore.

Just came here this morning for a quick bite. Had a slight issue with the chips which was fixed so good on that. We later requested for ketchup which the serving lady just threw at our table in disguise. Felt super awkward as this was our first time experiencing something like this at such a renown brand in the city we call home. Just wanted to put it out here.

This store has turned out to be the worst,, in terms of service. Very unhelpful, rude and disrespectful staff.... They don't even understand the meaning of customer service. They mess up orders and when you tell them they say no we did it right.... I have picked up orders and went home and realised the chips were missing or downgraded to a smaller size several times.... Close down this store...

My kids like Grill’d chicken burgers. They’re made of fresh chicken and taste yummy😋

Normally I love grill’d, but I would never come here again. Both burgers patties were black and burned, and chips were soggy with no crunch, at other places they are normally so tasty and crunchy. Definitely do not recommend.

visited this place with family around a week back, had a very nice and homely atmosphere to it, the staff were friendly and personable, and the food was also just as nice, cooked just about right with love and attention would come back for lunch if I ever visit Burwood again

Although very busy the staff were friendly and managed the order well considering i made a few changes to the burger and nothing was missed, burgers cooked well. Being a grilled I think it's fair to say it's not somewhere you should go if you expect high end food, it's fast food.

This particular venue has gone downhill. Everything is always burnt or overcooked! This has unfortunately been true on multiple occasions - buns, meat patties and grilled chicken included. Very disappointing. Also, tables need a good scrub.

Nice modern interior with chill vibes. The burgers and fries are literally addictive; always hot, fresh, and well-seasoned. Since going vegan I have tried the garden goodness and amazing vegan cheeseburger. While I'm pumped that Grill'd is catering to vegans, I do wish that they were a bit more equal to the meat burgers, if you get what I mean. Non-vegan burgers are loaded with avo, beetroot, fried eggs, etc., while the vegan ones are a bit empty in comparison.

I've eaten here many times in past. This shop had alwaysupheld grill'ds standards... Big drop off. I asked to dine in and recieved take away. When this was noted, the staff member came back with the same bag and said they wouldn't lay it out on the plate because as I had asked for takeaway. They handed me a bare plate. I tried my fries which were completely cold. Upon asking for fresh fries, the staff rolled their eyes. The "fresh" batch came out instantly and were luke-warm at best. The burger patty was also overcooked and rubbery and the bread was stale. My mate also had the same complaint. Massive drop off to what used to be a great place to eat, really disappointing.

Ordered the Ash pack twice now and have been consistently short-changed on the drink. Always check your order for drinks as both time our order came without the drinks

Order was missing half its food, because the server didn’t listen and wouldn’t repeat order back. I repeated the order to her to make sure she got it all which she said she did. Turns out she didn’t put half the food on the order, only got a snack sweet potato chips in return. Both burgers weren’t fresh, much more similar to that from a maccas line up. The crispy bacon and cheese had cold and pretty much uncooked bacon on it, one side had been seared but the bacon was cold to touch. Let the servers know and had my burger replaced, bacon was at least cooked but the burger again was room temperature at best. The same can be said for the Simon says burger that was also ordered. The servers were lovely but this was ultimately a massive disappointment especially since the burgers are usually so good.

The burgers were well made and perfectly cooked! The place was clean and tidy. The staff was friendly.

The burgers here are always good. Loved the Mighty Melbourne which is packed with crispy bacon, egg, tasty cheese, beetroot, cos lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, relish & herbed mayo. Yummy. Would definitely be back for more and try the other burgers as well.

Great food! Not a single person spoke to us until our food got delivered. Then they were very nice. There were no other customers in the store when we arrived, so it wasn't because they were busy.

Our Friday night take out of burgers and chips is always consistently great and punctual at the Burwood store. A special shout out to Amie for the attentive service. Keep up the great work.

Felt like a tasty scrumptious lunch and thought why not have some grill’d. The summer sunset was cooked to perfection and was delicious. A special thanks to Oliver who prepared and served my meal. Excellent overall service!

Deeply disappointed. My Father and I came in for a meal. Grill’d is one of our traditions. The place was pumping with Loud music, staff were unprofessional and dancing while making the food. I had to ask them to turn it down and they were displeased. We waited for ages and then our food came out cold, and sweet potato fries overcooked/dried out. One staff asked how everything was and I indicated that it wasn’t good, he just nodded and walked away. Worst Grill’d I’ve even been to.

The burgers are delicious and the customer service is good, but I wasn’t so happy with my recent experience. I ordered the Caesar salad which is usually my go to and the egg white was goopy, the bread was well over seasoned, some of the lettuce was brown and there was a hair in my food 😅 I’m honestly not too fussed especially because they were pretty busy but definitely not what you should expect.

Yum!! Three totally clean plates! The lamb burger with goats cheese and pomegranate was outstanding...quick service, nice vibe!

The burgers and fries were absolutely delicious and highly recommended. I also loved the tokens you could get to donate to different causes such as, The Smith Family. One issue I noticed was that the burgers, in particular, weren't as warm/hot as expected. The fries were fine.

The burgers at Grilld are the best in the business but the service was disgusting and unprofessional. Not only did it take an extremely long time to get it, the food was completely wrong. When we complained they rolled their eyes and just ripped out some stuff and gave it back. It was still covered in stuff we did not order. When we gave it back again they were quite rude yet again but eventually they gave it back. I will never be coming back and I recommend you don’t either.

This grilles would have to be the worst of all grilled stores. I ordered my food with chips. Whilst they were making my food, they were spray cleaning product in the counter, and toxic cleaning spray could have easily have spray on the food, They have the cleaning bottle on the counter where they prepare their food. I spoke to the manager and asked if he would like cleaning liquid on your food, he said, “i have tasted degreaser” what a dumb thing to say to a customer? Also cockroaches were running around on the floor. Because it was a hot night, crickets were also walking on the floor through the open door. My food came 25 minutes later, missed my chips. I told the Manager, he said your didn’t get charged for this. Also the lights above meals area is dusty and full of dead bugs. Grilled Burwood is health risk, beware EAT at You Own RISK! 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

I went into Grilled in Burwood 12th of February around 4:40pm. Two tables had customers and the rest were empty and filthy so we walked out and drove to Knox City Grilled instead. It is dissapointing that simple house keeping was not in order. The Knox location was clean and tidy.

I ordered pick up, when I got home one meal was missing, tried to call nine times while driving back but no one answered and then have to sit around while they cook a whole new meal. At least my toddler will get something fresh but I’ll be eating a cold burger when I get back. Saying the customer service was bad is generous. Also car park is a nightmare, parking odd very difficult to find.
