The food was really good and reasonably well priced. The four star rating is because the storefront looks pretty average and they only accept cash payments (which is really inconvenient). Overall, don't let the look of the store fool you! Very tasty and fresh Vietnamese food at a good price :)

After visiting Vietnam in Dec 2018 and missing the food a lot, I've tried 15-20 Vietnamese restaurants and their rice paper rolls since. These are the best I've had! Such lovely owners, very friendly and kind. The rice paper rolls are full of fresh carrot, lettuce, rice noodle and the amount of pork is very generous! These are not like any other restaurant's I've ever tried! The dipping sauce is tasty! I don't live close, but have been three times and love it! Thank you!!! ❤️

I can’t fault it here. The food is wonderful. The service is good and snappy too. And, I love the casual inside eating spots. I had prawn rice paper rolls to start. These were as fresh as a daisy - like really well made with fresh ingredients - and they were very good and very tasty with a nice side sauce. The beef pho was delicious too. The broth was as good as I’ve ever tasted. The flavour was wonderful. Plus there was stacks of beef strips and plenty of chopped veggies. A chilli sauce was available on the side too. Overall it was a very generous serving with an added side plate of bean shoots. The overall cost of just over $20 was modest, I thought. This place reminds me of Victoria Street in its heyday. I’ve been to Vietnam too and this is as good as you get there as well. The people of this area are very lucky. I’d be here every second day if this place was near me. Bravo ( PS - ignore the few negative reviews here. They are rubbish. )

Had a wonderful bowl vegetarian pho chock full fresh vegetables and noodles. Came with bean sprouts, fresh lime and sauce (hoisin I think). Nice friendly couple, quick service. I ate in, small space but totally fine.

Not the best Pho I have ever had. I probably will try somewhere else next time. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t as good as I expected. My husband had massaman curry and said it was good. It looked alright, it had nice big chunks of vegetables in it. The portion sizes were good as well for takeaway and the packaging was great for the pho- the soup, noodles and been sprouts were all separate. They also provided chilli in a separate container but no fresh herbs.

Im a student and i love coming here to get my lunch, best in the area! Tasty, hot and fresh. Rice paper rolls here are bigger and cheaper compared to the ones sold at the Balwyn High School canteen 💕💕💕💕💕

If you stick to the vietnamese dishes, I think you will be very happy. The rice paper rolls are tasty, the baguettes are great value, and the rice noodle dishes are amazing. The dishes that are Chinese etc are not bad at all as well considering their price. Friendly service. Best place for Vietnamese in the area in my opinion.

A small hole in the wall with two tables if you wanted to eat in, otherwise takeaway is recommended. Food is okay.

There are two dingy tables inside. They turn the heater on ridiculously hot, which is concerning because of the cold meats they store in their shop front. The food isn't fresh traditional Vietnamese, more like salty, cheap eats - thats not that cheap. I would think people only come here because there is no other similar vietnamese in the area. But if your accustomed to Vietnamese food from Box Hill, Ringwood, Mitcham, Springvale, Richmond - this place is definitely below standard.

I have been told they have recently changed owners but I have only ate at this restaurant very recently. First of all, the staff there are very nice and friendly. They were very welcoming and simply just genuine people. The value of the food is very good. I had pho with sliced beef, prawn spring rolls and a pork roll all for $20.50. They were all really tasty and also healthy. I look forward to my next visit.

Best Vietnamese takeaway in East Melbourne. Extremely kind, compassionate and caring staff who were very accommodating of my family's food allergies. Well worth a try if you're not already a regular!

my first time ordering from this place, i got the crispy pork banh mi from here, it was okay. it was VERY salty and had tomatoes ?, also no pate. other than that it was very filling and a good price, id come back to try their pho and other dishes, but probably not for their banh mi sorry :(
