Longing for authentic Mexican food? Visit Bay City Burrito. After leaving bay side in California, I've been missing the food. It was nostalgic to have the food I missed for long. Caution: the Enchiladas Style burrito is humongous and you'd most likely overeat. It's delicious with all those meaty fillings and the sauce that makes it extra special. Jalapeno poppers were spicy for me (others loved the spiciness), but the crunchy shell and the scrumptious cheesy filling were something to fight for. Add a Jarritos drink, and you have the most satisfying meal. Decor is lovely. Enough space for planning a small party. Service is great. Parking is ample off street or there are parking places within 5 minutes walk. Will visit again. Definitely!

Fantastic, authentic Mexican food. Excellent customer service! The staff here were very helpful with helping choose something off the menu. They had great knowledge of the menu items, and didn't hesitate to ask the Chef when they were challenged on something they did not know. The location here is perfect if you are on foot in the area, or if you can find a park. The only down side is the parking, if you are trying to meet friends. Otherwise our experience here was top notch. The staff are very friendly and excellent at they're jobs.

I got a chicken burrito and a breakfast burrito with egg. The burrito was packed with fresh ingredients. It was a HUGE meal. And absolutely bloody delicious!! I had some cauliflower popcorn chicken which was coated in some yummy crumbs. I've personally found good Mexican hard to find. Well that's before I found this place. If your looking for some good quality Mexican food, this is your place. Extra points for sustainable packaging too, no foam in sight! Yay haha. I'm definitely going back!

The good: Nuclear salsa with the Chimichurri plate, we were warned but we dared.. Yes, lady, you're right, it's hot!! But it was super tasty!! The 48hour marinated steak, done medium rare was perfect! Unless one has to share this with a young child, do have it the way they do it, I recommend! Refried beans and rice were perfect compliments with the steak.. The lady I mentioned above, specifically the Pakistani lady(she told us where she's from), she's super nice, she's for keeps, Bay City! The not so good: The seats against the wall were really really uncomfortable; definitely not for relaxing against. That door, on a cold night is no good open! Maybe an air-curtain for cold nights could be good to keep cold air out. Food took noticeably longer than it should've. You know when you order food and just as you're thinking it's taking a little long but then it arrives? So tonight it took a little longer after we've thought it was taking some time already. Overall: I'd come back if I had the money to spend or a compensating voucher. Because for what it was, it all didn't quite justify the price, in my opinion. =)

That was amazing. I will come back weekly to this place. The nuclear sauce is actually spicy. The pulled pork burrito is delicious. The margaritas are very flavorful. But could use a bit more volume for the pitcher. All in all I really like this place.

Burritos were yummy! Loved the popcorn cauliflower and grilled corn.

Love coming to this spot for burritos. Also get my Cabo Supreme with great guac. The nachos were also really good. Has a good balance of flavours and ingredients that make Mexican lively and bounce.

Loved the ambience. The outside seating was nice too but since it was windy and chilly we opted to sit inside. The cocktails, food was overall good. I would give 4.6 to this place. The only problem.i had was the batter was cauliflower popcorn tasted a bit raw from inside taste was good thou The chef also made the veg quesadilla for us on our special request. Since i wanted to have one wothout chicken. Can recommend anyone to have mexican here other than bigger chain like gyg. They serve varities that are not usual. Will definitely look forward to try more items from their menu if i get chance to visit this place again.

Service and ambience is very good. Decent variety in the menu and good collection of Mexican sauces. Food is freshly prepared and well presented. Serving sizes are huge. Felt the taste was missing the punch, the flavours I was expecting. Tried couple of wraps and a bowl.

Pretty sure I went here on their opening day years ago on good Friday and have been a return customer at least a few times a month ever since. Always consistently good service and great food. As a vegan it has also been great that they have evolved their menu from having only a couple of options when they opened to having a great variety today along with providing vegan cheese.

This place is the single best authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. The products (especially burrito and taco) are well proportioned and represent good value for money. The venue is licensed and serves Mexican beer. The decor is nice and the staff friendly.

Good value, substantial tasty bowls and burritos.

The best tacos I've eaten anywhere. Quite different to the tacos I've ever tasted in other places. Not that I eat out very often so I guess I've been living under a rock. Anyhow, my friend and I agreed we would definitely be happy to return sometime and try out more things on the menu ☺️

Delicious food and great vegan options!

Excellent Burritos. Bay city Bomber was huge but could have added more meat. We tried the Nachos Lacos and it was really good. I wanted hotter and they suggested nuclear sauce. That was too late we were almost done. Options there for Vegetarians and Vegans. I know what to order when I'm there next time.
