Lovely, peaceful place to go for a walk! Lots of great scenery and wildlife there — also lots of slopes but it was a fun place to explore.

Beautiful little gem hidden in the suburbs. Lots of walking paths with birds, ponds and a small stream. There are well kept toilets and drinking water available. There is also a visitor centre which was closed on the weekend I visited. It's quiet and you only hear cars if you're on one of the paths next to the road. Such a pleasant place!

Visited as part of Kinder excersion. Very beautiful nature reserve with visitor centre displaying fossils of local animals and birds. Kids loved the tours, educational sessions from council staff, story telling and picnic in park.

Beautiful, very hilly. Bit of an effort because I'm unfit but I will go back because it's lovely

Was an interesting walking experience. Dirt / stone walking tracks, visitor centre, toilets, seating and lots of nature. Lot's of different birdlife sounds. Numerous smaller paths taking you off the main trail to somewhere interesting. Links up well with other trails and parks. Visitor centre not open all times but you can reach through gate to pick up some printed info.

Beautiful gem hidden within Mitcham. You can't believe you're in the suburbs and within minutes from the busy Eastlink freeway and Eastland/Costco area of Ringwood. My favourite place to go for a walk; it's very safe and you still get 4G on your phone!! There are plenty of trails and one leads directly to nearby Schwerkolt Cottage and Museum. The carpark nearest the toilets and info centre is at Ashburton Drive and you can refill your water bottle there as well. The bike track goes all the way to Mullum Mullum Creek I can spend two hours here just leisurely walking and being in nature, listening to the birds and watching the ducks. There's a pond and parts of the creek along the walk, with naturally fallen trees creating bridges. Just absolutely my go-to place for when the weather is perfect to go for walks or even a jog/run! Dogs must be on a leash.

Probably the naturally most beautiful nature reserve we’ve visited in the suburban Melbourne east area. Heaps of detours for kids’ adventures among beautiful bridges and waterways. Great place for a weekend walk!

It is only by reading other people's reviews that open our eyes to the truly wonderful opportunities to visit spectacular Bush Reserves that we would never know existed in the Suburbs. So, everyone If you discover a piece of Bush Paradise put your reviews in so that we can all enjoy the experience. This place Is right up there and will continue to visit .Just be aware we share these areas with endangered Flora and Fauna and shared walk and cyclist paths, Cyclists slow down as the elderly who use these areas may not hear your approach.

Great hiking and walking area. Muddy riverbank if your kids love making mess. Bicycle tracks and few mountain bike places for younger ones. And you may see a deer if you are lucky.

Tucked in from the road with toilets and parking. Walked down from deep creek road through a tree lined path lovely bush walk along the creek with well maintained paths plenty of bird life at the cottage end there is a large grassed area. Plenty of shade on the walk.

From the perspective of a walker, finding this park recently was a remarkably pleasant surprise. It seems to have trails off in all directions, (easy to clock up a good distance without feeling like you're walking in circles), some hills for those who like to work a little harder, it's quiet, it's pretty and has several spots around the perimeter for parking. Can't believe I missed this one for so long!

Absolutely amazing that such a wild place exists in the middle of the suburbs. Don't go without a plant ID reference from the council, the better to enjoy the indigenous flora, especially in the spring!

Beautiful reserve, dog and cycling friendly. Must keep dogs on leash. Great option for both staying on a main track or going off track, creekside if feeling more adventurous. Has been snakes and other native animals reported in area so recommended to wear appropriate footwear and to stay cautious.

Great surroundings with an amzing nature vibe, toliet block is being updated so no public toliets, quite a few ponds that may see ducks and a waterfall.

A tucked-away bushland with plenty of paths, hidden trails and rocky crossings to feel like you're adventuring in the wilderness. Great for picnics, trail runs, bringing your pet or going walking with friends. There are many entrance points to choose from, and come early in the morning for a peaceful wander.
