Christine Aguilera, being in all that electricity you could feel from everyone was amazing. Jessica Malbou was amazing such powerhouse voices. Absolutely loved the singing the whole racecourse was full. It was just the downpour of rain 🌧 that ruined it.

Fantastic new stand, service at all bars was prompt and friendly - some terrific cocktails! New Roof top bar is sensational with amazing views of not only the track but whole of Melbourne, would like to see some more heaters outside but all in all terrific

If anyone is considering to visit this place from Melbourne CBD. There's not much interesting going on because all the buildings are prohibited to enter. Even the trail or scenery is ugly and not well maintained compared to the parks in the city. You will be better off visiting Botanical Garden or even Flagstaff. It seemed like the field was mostly used by the locals who want to bring dogs or run only for athletic purpose (no aesthetic/scenery).

Great event, full of people, very well organized. The Terrace is great. Food is fantastic and the service was outstanding. Great experience of the australian cultural expression.

Total lack of community spirit building a flood wall to protect the track diverting waters into homes! This local community has supported this racecourse a lot! A delayed meet is hardly a big issue.

I went for the Knotfest featival in this racecourse. So, I cannot exactly describe my experience in view to the racing ground. However, by the looks of it, it's a massive ground which can fit lots of people at once. Cannnot be a racing ground for Melbourne Cup without a reason. Had a great time. Easy to access with flemington train station open during major events.

The best racecourse in the world! Something for everyone, pool tables, children's games and amusement rides. Markets for the ladies. But best of all fantastic Group horses and great jockeys.

Finally got a change to visit this historic racecourse. Beautiful place to visit. They also offer tours when there are no races going on. Also check out their small museum. Must visit at least once if you are in Melbourne.

Amazing day for Melbourne Cup. Loved the atmosphere & fashions. Queues for getting food, drinks, merchandise & TAB was ridiculous. Ran out of bottled water & Flemmington caps (funding out after being in queue for 40 minutes!). The wait for buses was another badly organized queue of over an hour in the heat & bus fumes. Shame really as it could work better & make the day even better.

My great great grand-father's stables in Geelong was used to hide Phar Lap back in the day (my nana—who passed away in May this year, 2023, aged 102—recalls the horse and declined to sit on him). Yet I have only been here three times. Once for Oaks Day (circa 1996), once for The Melbourne Cup (circa 2007), and yesterday (1.12.23) for Good Things. Each day was wonderful. The two crowds are wildly different yet both are thoroughly worth seeing let alone the reason this venue exist.

Experienced Melbourne Cup in scorching hot weather. No water was available for purchase and it took along time to get back to our Hotel. Not as organised as I thought it would be. Water stations should have been installed. But the cup atmosphere was fantastic.

Parks & grounds are great. This is so close to the city, so has views to the CBD, though is in a slight valley so is quieter with soft breezes. Definitely worth stopping for a walk along the roses if you're driving past

I went to the Flemington Racecourse for the Good Things festival and it was fantastic. There could have been a few more areas to get water from, but aside from that, it was great. I can't say much, or anything, about the races that go on there, but for events, it is a great spot with plenty of space.

VRC Summer Fun Race Day, we dined at the Chairman’s Club. The service was good, attentive and polite but it was obvious that some staff were still in training as side plates and cutlery were missing, orders mixed up etc. The food was tasty, in particular the cod and the roasted peach dessert. The latter was absolutely delectable. Not a supporter of horse racing particularly on a 38 degree day and was concerned about the horses being in distress. The events were pushed to an earlier timeframe so that the races would conclude way before the temperature peaked.

Flemington Racecourse is an incredible destination that truly offers something for everyone. This iconic Australian landmark has been a fixture in Melbourne for over 160 years and is renowned for its horse racing events, world-class facilities, and stunning architecture. The racecourse itself is simply breathtaking, with a sprawling layout that is as impressive as it is functional. From the moment you arrive, you'll be struck by the incredible energy and excitement that permeates the entire facility. Whether you're an avid horse racing enthusiast or simply looking to enjoy a day out with friends and family, Flemington Racecourse has something to offer. The racing events held here are some of the most prestigious in the world, drawing visitors from all over the globe to witness the thrill of the races. But even if you're not interested in horse racing, there are still plenty of reasons to visit Flemington Racecourse. The beautiful grounds are perfect for a leisurely stroll or picnic, and the many restaurants, bars, and cafes offer a wide range of dining options. And if you're looking for a truly unforgettable experience, be sure to visit during the Melbourne Cup Carnival, which is one of the most iconic events in the Australian social calendar. Overall, I highly recommend Flemington Racecourse as a must-visit destination in Melbourne. The combination of world-class horse racing, stunning facilities, and beautiful grounds make it a truly unique and unforgettable experience.

A wonderful experience. Best of the racecourses you will find. The beautiful garden and flowers makes it a memorable visit. The racecourse comes to life during the Melbourne cup a week of awesome entertainment. Dress up, and join the fun. If your lucky your horse might win you a million.

Had such a great time at Flemmington. The grounds are beautiful. We joined the punters club for the day and made some good coin. We went on a quieter day and no tap been which was disappointing, but you could buy cans. Food was good.

Flemington Racecourse is the Jewell in the Crown of Horseracing Victoria. Set in an ideal location , with great views of the Melbourne Skyline and Picturesque Marybirnong River, it is a must place to visit during the Spring Racing Carnival.

Love the heritage sites of the Flemington Racecourse. A great place with well maintained gardens and Racecourse with plenty of parking spaces available and some great pavilion spaces for events and activities. Absolutely fantastic sites for mid to large sized events and offcourse the well famous Racecourse and the Melbourne Cup event.

Crown treats their staff shockingly. I was at an event yesterday at the racetrack and overheard two occasions of a manager berating a young staff member unnecessarily. There was a lack of organisation to the entire day with many off the staff doing their best clearly. With no guidance from management who seemed to be standing around chatting and only looking for problems. Arrogant, aggressive and rude. To both staff and clients. Wake up! There is a staff shortage and you treat your people badly. Good luck.

Doubt there is a more beautifully set racecourse anywhere. Surrounded by lots of leasurely parklands and set along the banks of the Maribyrnong River the course is most famous for holding the Melbourne Cup, considered the best of the 3200m (2 miles) races globally. The beautiful rose gardens in the enclosure and surrounding the architecturally appeasing finishing post are worth a visit alone. Easy public transport to nearby train connection. Easy contact can be made with the Racng Victoria or the Club's Customer Services to arrange visitations.

Went last Saturday, had a really good day. The only downside is that the entry and all the bars/ food outlets don't accept cash, this is absolutely ridiculous,if I present legal tender it must be accepted. Please Flemington Racecourse let people use cash.

I live around the corner in Kensington just off Epsom Rd not far from Flemington Racecourse. Its so beautiful when you drive over the Princess bridge. You can see the Grand Stands frm the distance & the lavish greenery is so beautiful. The best place to hold the Melbourne Cup & The Royal Melbourne Show. The Royal Melbourne Show starts around the end of September early October. While the Melbourne Cup is held during the first week of November The most famous Racecourse grounds in Australia.

Always a great day to attend Flemington when the "Carnival Members" are not there, especially the newer ones . Lunch in the 6 Furlongs restaurant and drinks on the rooftop. Throw in 3 winners and it was a top day. Let's hope most of the new members forget to renew their membership, or learn to behave with decorum.

Very well organized race day in the member Atrium Bar with the other punters. Lunch is either a sit down smorgasbord or you can sit at high bar tables and order from the cafe attached to the bar. Some better organized members bring some nibbles or sandwiches to share with friends - once in the members venture you have a choice of around 10 bars and viewing areas to choose from, with most seeming to head inside to watch on screens or on the balcony.
