As a first time visitor, this was incredible. I was still able to experience the history and the views while enjoying a beautiful sea breeze in my face, a gentle ride up and back, comfortable seats, and an incredible gift shop. I wish we could have done this at sunset, I was pleasantly surprised by the ability to view our picture and order it to be printed immediately at the top. The staff were friendly and professional, and we enjoyed our wine as we admired the views from the top. I can picture myself having a picnic lunch surrounded by gum trees and overlooking Mornington Peninsula next time I visit the bushland and taking a walk.

to relax the mind on a weekend vacation with the family. at first there seems to be nothing so "wow" or interesting for adults here except enjoying the beautiful view from above. but... get out of the cable car area and go to the surrounding area. there are many interesting activities that can be done here and there is definitely not enough time to explore everything here. It is hoped that the management can place signs in each lane so that visitors know what is there.

Well not many cable car places in Melbourne. If you’d like to support local business then yeah go ride the cable car. The view is amazing and the staff are friendly. If you have kids I highly recommend this place. The summit is better than the base. My recommendation is go to the summit and get a return ticket from there instead from the base.

Was a great experience took my 7yo and they loved it. We went from base to top, went to the lookout, had lunch, the Cafe is amazing great food and the toilets even the outside public ones were clean and included a parents room. There's a maze and playground as well as plenty of picnic tables also. Before climbing on at base station we did the green screen photo so worth it definitely get the pararama one only $18 and they have packages also so worth it. Then we scanned out tickets again at the summit to come back down about 14 min each way I definitely prefer the enclosed ones we happened to get and enclosed on way up and open on way down and it definitely gets cold in there when its open but was great. Staff were knowledgeable and very nice. Gift shop is there you have to go through it to exit and Cafe has indoor and covered outdoor seating options. Highly recommended very price conscious experience for a great day with lots of other things to do in the area as well.

Gorgeous views from the summit, if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous the hike up from base takes about an hour and is worth a shot (moderately steep and not wheelchair/pram friendly though). Amenities at the top were nice and clean, very friendly service from staff. Coffee/food a little pricy but expected given the location. Caught the gondola down, lovely smooth ride with great views the whole way to base. A must do if you’re in the area and enjoy outdoorsy activities.

Great experience in modern gondolas suspended over bush and roads. Visited 26/3/2022, weather mild and sunny. Travelled up the mountain by car and came down from top. Spectacular views of the Bay, and a bit of Westernport bay. Sailing ships, boats and beaches clearly visible. World class experience. Gondolas are modern and doors open and close automatically. You can move around them to enjoy the vistas. Return ticket is more economical and they offer concession prices also. Food and drink is available at top of mountain with indoor and covered alfresco areas. Heaps of seating and good views just sitting there. They are licenced and prices are reasonable for a tourist destination. Plenty of parking, customer service was outstanding by all staff and snacks were fresh. You'll appreciate what we have in Melbourne by taking this experience. Have included a picture of an original chair lift seat for comparison to the old days. Shows progress. Lots of stuff went overboard in old days, mostly thongs, not now though. Memories to remember for ever.

Purchased tickets online, which was easy and secure with our tickets delivered directly to my email. Presented the barcode at the boarding zone, which was scanned and we were quickly shown our capsule. One great feature was no matter the size of your group, whether riding solo or with up to 7 others, you get the ride to yourselves. The ride was smooth and very quiet, leaving us to enjoy the surrounding views. Lots of photos opportunities on the 14 minute trip. It wasn't crowded but I still recommend buying the tickets online to "jump the que" on arrival. Staff at the summit and the base were all very friendly complimenting the experience. Highly recommend and it may have been my first, but won't be my last time on the Arthur's Seat Eagle chairlift.

It is a good place for those who want to enjoy the fresh air, be close to the nature, have a walk or simply have an outing day with their loved ones. The cable cars are good for sightseeing and it's a quick journey. It's cheaper for seniors, students, children and families, so don't for get your cards which can help you to deduct the price a bit. Personally, I enjoy the time staying here.

Nice view but too much waiting in line and not much choice of food. Very hard to find parking.

Who doesn't love a trip to Arthurs Seat? Panoramic scenic views, plenty of amenities, cafés, bnb's. Who could forget about about their new cable cars attraction, cementing Arthurs Seat on the tourism map. Rain, hail or shine this is always a popular spot for people to visit.

I go to eagle summit at Arthur's seat at least every 2 days, there are renovations, revamping happening over the last 3 weeks foyer and front entrance done so far at the moment food and dining area being done atm. I've been going to eagle for over 3 months and never noticed they have an extension on dining end ,that is like a beer garden l guess, yes they do have a liquor licence with alot of local beers, like jetty brewery beers to name one and local wines, would be a great day trip, also hot&cold food available, Devonshire teas big scones ,vanilla slices, foccassias ,soups in winter, grazen and chocolate boxes available order to make sure one is saved are supplied by peninsula baker Boys Cafe on Nepean Rd Rosebud 3939

It is good to travel during a good weather. I think the view is much better and it gives you a ample time to see the place much higher as it goes slowly. There is nothing to fear in this. You are not going to get adrenaline rush but for sure you will enjoy the scenic views. Make sure to take onward and return!

Wonderful journey up the gongola for an amazing view. The walking trails at the summit are easy though rather high if you have vertigo. Views are expansive and nature is wonderful. Great view of the bay area and on a good day you could probably be less let down and see all the way over to Mt disappointment.

Weather was great to enjoy the view, gondolas are quiet and peaceful, can choose a closed or open gondola if you feel the cold. Great for all ages.

Good place for a one day visit..It has a cafe and a few scenic areas you can wander to...We went on a weekday so it was quiet and we had quick service, no queues and plenty of space in the self-serve cafe. Good to visit if it's a Sunny day so you can enjoy the views.

Highly recommend this to be added to your itinerary if visiting the Mornington Peninsula. Offers gorgeous views of the peninsula and you can also see the skyline of Melbourne on a clear day.

Beautiful place to check out the amazing views of Port Phillip. There's a nice cafe at the top. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There's a nice maze for kids and family to enjoy. If you don't like the feel of gondola then you can drive all the way up.

Lovely day out with the family. Lots a walking track with many offering superb views of the Bay. Gondola ride is well worth it and has great views even on a cloudy day. Gardens are well established, extensive and well looked after with a varied and diverse range of plants and trees from around the world.

Great views from the cable car, view points on top and the way down by road side. Felt that the cable car is at times too fast to enjoy the view. Parking could be an issue on busy days as Easter weekend. A must visit.

This place is so beautiful. The views are stunning whether you're headed toward the Bay or back up toward the station. The ride is smooth and comfortable, we chose to do the Twilight run and the glasses of wine were a great choice! The best part of this experience is definitely the staff. They are so charismatic and friendly, cracking jokes and finding ways to get you to feel settled in like it's an old friends home. We really felt well looked after and truly enjoyed this experience, we wouldn't hesitate to do this experience again!

Friendly staff. Long lines on the last day of school holidays. The gondolas are so peaceful and views are amazing. Reasonably prices. We paid online for our tickets.

First visit but not to the Gondola. Very beautiful place to relax from stress and any pressure. A lot of picnic area equiped with BBQ place, sitting area and toilet, but just bring handsoap. Plenty car park within the Gondola post. The view is beautiful. When driving down to Mornington side, there are at least 2 lookout points with parking area which we posted. However as the time constraint, we didnt go to surrounding garden etc. Will explore more next time. Very recommended place to visit.
