Beautiful reserve with lots of natural bushland, with walking trails throughout. Dogs are allowed on leash. Easy parking, perfect place to stretch your legs. I swear when you're in the middle of the reserve you can't hear any traffic noise. Also if you look carefully and stay quiet, there are a mob of Kangaroos that live here. A beautiful bush haven on the edge of suburbia. Highly recommended.

Another gem of a park in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Lots of green. A choice of paths - wide and easy, and "off-the-beaten". Native wildflowers and birds. It's not the most dense, natural-looking bush. And it is surrounded by housing. But it's only 10 minutes from the freeway and is an easy-access, breath of fresh air for those wanting to clear their head (and soul).

100 Acres of boredom. No amenities and not much variety despite having a reasonable number of (somewhat unkempt) walking paths. I was there in Summer, so perhaps it would have more appeal if there were more water about; the supposed water features were dry as a bone. Still, not one I'd rush back to. Best place to park is off Knees Road opposite number 33.

A piece of bush close to suburbia. If you want amenities, nice manicured paths, wildlife on demand and clean toilets, go to the zoo. This is not for you. This is a nature reserve and so maintenance is absolutely minimal. Have a pee before you start your walk, there are toilets at the knees road reserve next to the park. Do not visit on a high fire risk day, as bush burns easily. For some solitude, and a range of walks there are many paths here so you can either circumnavigate or spend as much time as you like walking through. Once done, there are a few nice cafes on Park Road in Park Orchards.

Awesome bush reserve with many tracks to explore. Plenty of local wildlife roaming around including birds and kangaroos. This place is a hidden gem and often feels like you are in the middle of nowhere.

A wonderful reserve with lots of flora, fauna and walking tracks. Unfortunately, some dog walkers do not appear to pick-up after their dogs. Very fortunate to have such a beautiful habitat amidst suburbia.

Amazing areas of remnant indigenous flora. Kangaroos and wallabies at dawn and dusk in the central valley. Small Indigenous orchards are prolific in spring.

A good place for a short but interesting nature walk. Plenty of tall trees and a few ponds make it a good home for birds, bugs and flowers.

Lovely, calm, peaceful place to visit. A good place to enjoy nature. Lots of birds. Sometimes you can see kangaroos here too.

Nice walking tracks, fairly well shaded if you go in the sun/rain - bit of wildlife about depending on what time you go too.
