Preston
Market

It
was
a
weekdaymid-morning.
It
was
not
busy.
The
stores
were
well
organised
in
sections,
and
easy
to
find
what
we
want.
Some
store
staff
/
storekeepers
were
not
friendly
when
I
approached
them
to
take
photos
for
Ggogle
Maps.
I
was
not
sure
whether
I
missed
them,
there
were
not
many
eateries,
and
only
limited
furniture
to
sit
down
for
a
bite
or
coffee.
The
market
was
more
like
a
meat
and
seafood
market.
The
prices
were
reasonable,
probably
due
to
competition
among
the
sticks.
The
vegetables
prices
were
higher
than
what
I
paid
for
somewhere
else.
The
floor
of
the
market
is
from
ideal.
It
must
be
through
years
of
neglect.
The
market
will
not
around
much
longer,
despite
the
storehouses
and
residents
in
Preston
have
been
call8ng
the
owner
and
council
to
change
their
mind.
The
piece
of
land
is
prime
real
estate,
and
it
is
roo
naive
to
give
up
redevelopment
opportunity.
