I have always had a lovely time here at the market. It is quite big and if you walk slowly and browse every stall, it would take a better part of an hour to complete the tour of the market. It is such a great place for thrift-shopping! I got 2-dollar shoes and several 5-dollar clothes! The vibe is super chill and the sellers are super nice. For those who love secondhand items, this is the place for you!

Visit a second time. Good place to hang out. Mostly selling clothes and vintage stuff. Love the flower stall. - gold coin for charity at the entrance (not compulsory) - get there early for easy car park

These Markets have lost a lot of their charm, and just become an area to sell Chinese and Indian junk. Some nice stalls tho, and women especially make like some of the casual cheap clothes. I've been a visitor and previously a local here since 1990, and used to take my kids there regularly. As I said, the markets have lost their charm for us all, and visiting it now is purely a bit of nostalgia. One nice cafe, on a walkway to Burke Road.

Lots of cute pre-loved clothing, vintage items and handmade crafts at great prices! My friend and I spent 2 hours here and had such a delightful time! I’m very satisfied with the things I thrifted from last Sunday - 2 sweaters, a crocheted hair clip, a bunch of rings, comics and some CDs 🥰🤗

We enjoyed walking and browsing through the stalls in the market. Vintage, old, antique, broken, fixed, etc. Treasures for some, junk to others. We really like it but it's burning hot in Summer. But it may not be for everyone. If you like buying stuff off pickers, this could be the market for you. Loads of used clothes here as well. Limited food choices but we're of little consequence for us.

This market is so lovely and lots of 2nd hand clothes and other stuff came with good quality and reasonable price. This place is near train station and tram which is easy to come.

Lovely outdoor market with multiple rows of individual stalls to look through. Food vans offered really great street food, we got a delicious egg and bacon roll for breakfast.

Don’t be silly like me, bring some cash and a tote bag (at least) 😅 There are so many stalls here, I arrived at 9 and couldn’t look through everything in time. Prices are mostly very good, much better choice than going to a consignment store if you are looking for value. Wide range of clothing, homewares, records/CDs, and many other niche products. There will be many things that pique your interest!

This is a Melbourne institution. Much bigger than I was expecting, and much nicer stuff too! It’s super busy so worth getting there early before all the good stuff goes. There’s a huge variety of goods too - something for everyone.

A staple for all Melbourne market goers, whether you're looking for something vintage, rare or affordable - it's most probably here. Honestly quite crowded most Sunday mornings by at least 8:30-9, best to get in early.

Loved this market! So many bargains and lovely people. It is a second-hand clothes/trinkets for home/collectors markets. Not much food options. I noticed some doughnuts and coffee shops.

Perfect start to a Sunday morning. Try and get in early to get a car spot and then start doing some laps to find some great deals. Everyone is so nice and sweet.

So many nice stalls to browse, great community atmosphere. Slot of similar products on offer, highlighting how many talented crafts people in the community

Today I picked up a few bargains. However, I noticed the quality of items on offer isn't as good as it was years ago, maybe it was just an off day(?) there was alot of over priced rubbish. However, the atmosphere is always lively & it's a great place to just wonder around looking at interesting things for the sake of nostalgia.

The Camberwell Sunday Market has steadily gotten worse and more pointless over the years. Although it is called a market, it is much more like a trash and treasure type deal just focusing much more heavily on the trash than the treasure. The best description for it would be a giant garage sale with 2 or 3 food vans a miniature pop up plant nursery, and the other 95% of sellers there literally are selling, rocks, old worthless household junk, clothes that the salvos would reject, old books, records, second hand tools of various usefulness, very old, worn and out of fashion art, whether paintings, photos, lithos or the like. It really is the most disappointing market I think I've been to, and it hurts to say that considering I've lived in Camberwell all my life. The can shakers from the Rotary club that are responsible for the market don't even bother policing the gold coin entry fee that they used to staunchly demand. So clearly, even the Rotary club are well aware of just how pitiful and boring this market is. The only thing I can recommend it for is off loading your own unwanted garage sale style goods, that the salvos won't take and the Boroondara Counsel charge you to dump. You can pay approx $15 for a spot at the market and you can cross your fingers with all the other hopefuls that you may get lucky and be able to get rid of your burden and make a dollar or 2 along the way. The market is open from around 6am-11am and has never drawn a huge crowd as a market has to be really quite impressive to bother missing your sleeping in day to attend. The city Council and Rotary Club don't care and they are out of ideas as to how to resurrect the market.... It's not going to happen. My humble and honest advice is to stay in bed and don't bother checking this one out, it's not worth your time.

A lot of branded clothes with cheap price. You can get clothes for around $1-5 closer to the closing time ( at around 11.30-12.30). Depending on the seller availability, you may also find sunglass makers, swarovski sellers, wax sellers, etc.

Very prosperous, orderly and mildly. People are generous enough to allow haggling bargain, they are happy and friendly. I'm so happy to find some treasure.

Lots to see, mostly cash operations which is limiting but saying that there is a bank on the main street just behind. Friendly stall people, gold coin donation and nice cafes along market for crepes, drinks and croissants.

Love how the Camberwell Fresh Food Market is open. Best butcher shop in Melbourne ( Commercial Butchers) and great pasta shop. Love the donuts

Worth seeing this vibrant market. One can buy used goods, tools, clothes, plants, pots, toys and books at a much cheaper rate. Some antiques are also on display and also can have coffee and breakfast. It opens at 9am and closes by 1 pm

The market is crowded when we first arrive at 8. Many second goods and in decent condition. Make sure to circle around before you purchase. Its close to the train about 5 min walk. Food trucks, indo restaurant, bank and other retails are available. Its basically a parking lot turned to be a marketplace.

Now these are the type of markets I enjoy. Plenty of interesting treasures. Unfortunately being on holidays I was limited in what I could purchase.

The amazing market for all sorts of bespoke handmade pieces for the home, the garden and the wardrobe. The market's grown over the years which is fantastic to see and it's considerable quality for everything. The thing I love most is the big selection of delicious food cooked there.

A typical sunday flea market, goods are generally nice. After chatting with some of the stall owners and learnt that used or even new goods came mostly from those Chinese students who are about to leave Australia. Worth to visit.

First time visit, in a veeerrry long time. It was ok. The market was busy, lots of repetitive stalls. So it got boring after awhile. It's wasn't until we realized why, when we saw a guy with a stall, making pottery, with gorgeous pieces. This market need more stalls like him, make arts and crafts original pieces. Like candle, oils, cooking oils, sweets stalls, more variety, fruit/veggie stalls etc. There were rows and rows of clothes, shoes,. It's not that cheap either. Some of these stalls need to realistic with thier prices. You can go across the road to Kmart and get things much cheaper. We are certainly coming back just for the pottery man pieces. But leaving straight afterwards. Not much else. Sorry guys.

If you are into the wild variety of stuff in life. In the chance of finding a hidden gem of a piece, then Camberwell Market is great. And donuts a great consolation prize if you don't get lucky. Delicious.

Honestly such a great place! I’ve found so many pieces for such great prices. However, a lot of people that rent out booths are not the nicest. Very stuck up human beings. Also, be prepared to haggle :)

I enjoyed the mixture of stalls and quality level of the goods ranging from clothes, Jewelry, art, antiques, tools and the condition of the items was to a good standard. There was a stall with ancient arrow heads which was cool. There weren't really any food vans which I thought was a bit of a missed opportunity.
