Spaghetti-3/5 fair Sofia special pizza: 1/5 very disappointed, we ordered the small size and can’t even finish my slice. We left more than half of the pizza… Service: 2/5 I would say no service at all. Most of the waiters not taking orders. Wanted to order dessert after meal and have been waiting for more than 10mins and no one is coming to take our order so we just left Overall : big portions and fair price. I am not sure whether is the foods that I ordered is just not right as many review said the foods are good. What we had were not so good. And the staffs are just too busy so that I can’t even have a conversation to ask what do they recommend. Not recommended to come during the weekend otherwise maybe they will be able to serve you better.

I was taken to Sophia's in Burwood for my birthday! Such a wonderful birthday gift! I know the food is not especially healthy, but No one is going here for a healthy meal. We are going for a delicious meal 😋 Obviously taste is subjective, but Sophia's is one of my favourite places to eat. I love all of the meals i ate here (refer to my attached pictures). Next time I shouldn't leave so many years between visits :)

Love the combo deals that they have. Pizzas are really good. Great sized, have heaps of toppings and the pizzas are soft and well done. Can’t fault this one. The pastas were a little bland for our liking. Maybe because we are used to a different type of sauce. We have tried a few of their pastas and their quantity is good enough for maybe 3 people. Some of them stand out very well, have a good protein content. The garlic bread was a downer for us. Mined garlic spread across a cooked bread which was nice and soft but lacked the garlic punch.

My family and I enjoyed our reunion at sofias. The food and value for money was outstanding in spite of the escalating inflation rates all over the world. Wish all business people were not so greedy and taking advantage of the financial crisis. Big thanks to cute Sari the waiter for managing our table of 10. God bless to you 🙏🏼

Sofia Burwood Italian Pizza Restaurant is a traditional Italian family-style restaurant. While their dishes might not be overly impressive in terms of flavor, it's a good place for a group gathering where you can order pizzas, pasta, calamari, fries, and tiramisu. Their main advantage lies in offering large portions at affordable prices, making it particularly suitable for those on a limited budget.

Such a great family run restaurant! Food is for filling and we left nice and full! We will definitely be back to try out or have the same things.

Have been coming here for special occasions for 20 years now. Such an authentic Italian Family Restaurant. Big serve. Fresh ingredients and the cakes are a plus!

Favourite Sofia’s due to extremely friendly staff. Delicious food. Extensive menu. Ambiance can be improved though to match Camberwell :) Good parking space including street parking. Highly recommended.

We had our team's end of year lunch here and i can safely say I can vouch for their food. I gave it five stars for this reason. Don't underestimate the serving as to me, one dish is good for two or to share with your pal. Bottom line is - food is great, tastes good, value for money plus spacious venue and accommodating staff. I initially doubt their service at first as only two staff were manning the store that time but hey, they served well.

We pass by this restaurant and feel that it’s quite interesting. Then we realised it is such a popular restaurant at Burwood. Environment 5/5 Plenty of parking here and very large restaurant. Perfect for family and celebration. I think easily they can fit 200-300 pax Service 5/5 Very well trained staff I have to say. Very friendly and they introduced us their food well. The food is served very fast as well. Bbq pizza 5/5 This is their special according to the staff, it turns out quite well. The fillings are quite generous as there’s quite a lot of meat on it. Margarita spaghetti 5/5 Luckily we ordered the small one, that can fit for 3 already I reckon! Taste good, Al Dante, sauce well cooked Will I come back again? 5/5 Absolutely, nice food, reasonable price, friendly staff

GREAT FOR THE FAMILY however... Food quality is not that great, if your coming here for flavour this isn't a place for you, if you want big portions for cheap then this is absolutely the place for you. You can easily share a small pizza and spaghetti between 2 people here And that's over eating.

If you are craving for authentic Italian food then don’t look far away and come to Sofia Burwood. This is a true family style restaurant. When you are being greeted with a smile then you know that the place is a friendly place. Now for the food, pizza is made to perfection, pasta is made to perfection and the chicken parmigiana is delicious. The value for money is on the dote, the portions are definitely Mediterranean size. One piece of cake is enough to feed a family of four 🤣🤣 and delicious. Highly recommended for big groups. Thank you for the team at Sofia for an amazing experience. Will definitely be putting this place on my favorite list.

There are plenty of staff at Sofia's and they provide great customer service. The food comes at a good pace. The food had a good depth of flavour and the portion sizes were big. Highly recommend sharing with a friend if you go as a group. Overall, I was very happy with the food and service and will most likely visit again in the near future.

The place is huge and very nice. There's plenty of parking behind the restaurant and also in front of the restaurant on the service road. The portions are really big, but the taste wasn't good. Was disappointed with the risotto, schnitzel. The Tandoori Pizza was good. I visited the place again, and the experience was similar. May be a little bit better this time. The beef lasagna was alright, and the garlic bread was good, too. Many people visit this place because the portions are good, the service is fast, and it's easy to get a table. The sad part is they microwave many fully cooked meals to maintain speedy service.

Yummy food, prompt service, friendly staff and good quantity. Value for money. Nice place to dine out and for parties.

Food sizes were huge. Food tasted amazing but we were turned off when my boss found steel wool in his pasta. (It was a big size) Was disappointing waiting so long for a glass of water and everyone else on the table already had drinks. I highly recommend changing the fiah tank light it was flashing and irritating the whole time. Must say the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was set right for a Italian restaurant. Very busy but under staffed.

I recently dined at Sofia's and unfortunately, the experience was quite horrible. The pasta was overcooked and lacked flavor, particularly the pesto pasta which seemed to use store-bought sauce and cream. Surprisingly, it included two types of pasta- really odd! We also ordered the Risotto- it was overcooked and gluggy rice, making it difficult to eat more than a few spoonfuls. Both dishes were of poor quality and flavor. Adding to the disappointment was the unpleasing attitude of the waiter, who appeared indifferent and even corrected pronunciations with a hint of rudeness. It felt as if the service was more of a favor than a service. The irony of the Italian-sounding dish names not reflecting the actual cuisine was particularly striking. I would not recommend Sofia’s as a place to eat. I am leaving you with a photo of the risotto as it came out to the table

Nice food, will recommend it to friends & families. Great service and staff. Will come again for sure. Scotch fillet steak, medium with mushroom sauce, 2 fried eggs and prawn. Husband had flounder very tasty and cooked well with chips and salad with tartar sauce. Yummy😋 .

Sofia’s is great to feed the family on a budget with all the favourites available. Food is plenty and comes out quickly. It was busy so service was a little slow.

I have been a fan of Sofias chain of restaurants for many years. Normally take away from this store, but dined in this time. The service was amazing. The team care. The food, large portions and great taste. Enjoyed the Mexican Pizza and the Lasagna. The carbonara was a little bland but fixed with chilli flakes. We could not finish the food, but took the remainder home. Value for money. Will definitely go back, and will continue to order online.

Have been here twice with friends as well as family. Have been wonderful experience both times. Food is awesome, service is good too. Pls book table in advance if going with a large group as it's crowded during peak hours

Workers were very kind and respectful, the food came out pretty fast and tasted delicious. My partner and I loved the carbonara pasta and overall it was the best pasta i’ve ever had! Portions are very generous. Truly a hidden gem restaurant that deserves more recognition. Try out this place if you haven’t!

Ordered pesto pasta. So bland. Ordered pasta seafood. Very bland lots of cream no taste. Very disappointed. Big portions but bland taste. Happy to wait for good taste but disappointing.

Amazing service from start to finish. Food was delicious and we all enjoyed a great afternoon. Will definitely be back again soon

An amazing dinning place with consistently fabulous food quality and customer service . I have been visiting this place for the past 13 years and I am extremely satisfied with the food variety, taste and the amazing customer service I always receive in this restaurant. A reasonably large size meal which would be enough for two people. I love lamb shank and sea food platter as my favourite dishes Keep up the great work the Sofia team

Amazing place with 5-star friendly staff and yummy food! The portion here is X-large with an ordinary price and extraordinary taste!! My favourite is Lamb Shank and Veal Vienna Schnitzel, highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staff were polite and served you quickly. The Parma was huge and the food was amazing.Very delicious, and vegetables were very fresh.Love this restaurant.I will definitely be back. 💕💕

Staff was very nice. Fast-service. Had their pasta marinara for the first time and fried calamari and also cheese cake for takeaway. Everything was fine except their heater wasn’t working that night so we couldn’t enjoy the atmosphere much. Fried calamari and cheese cake are averagely good (and huge) just like another Sofia so no complain 👍
