Good range of supplies and staff were friendly but their standard for bird care sorely needs improvement. The birds looked to all be on a seed based diet regardless of species which really shows in the resident Eclectus parrot whose feather condition and beak colour is extremely poor. The birds all had cosy huts and rope toys in their cages which are infamous for causing impaction and injury, and there was a pair of Alexandrine parrots in the back corner that had nothing but a very thin stick in their cage. Won't be supporting this business unless there are improvements.

Knowledgable and very friendly staff, cool ambiance, and all the stuff you could need. A little hidden gem. They sell snakes, lizards, fish and frogs, they have a resident feathered cousin who is always happy to say hello. We pop in every other week for crickets for our little friends, and for a chat. Just good folk who loves their pets. They also do holiday boarding, but you need to book in early for school holidays.

Purchased crickets here for my mantis. Always great quality products and friendly service

Was told that breeding crickets is not easy they just want us to buy from the store. In fact its the most easiest thing to breed I checked out YouTube videos and bang easy and fun for the kids . All i needed was 2 off 50 ltr clear containers with lids $6 each a bag of vermiculite $10 a clear takeaway container filled with garden top soil $4 all from hardware store or Bunnings and produced thousands of pin head size crickets . Placed in another conditioner and let them grow. Usu the adults 3 times for laying. Checked it all out on YouTube now my son saves his money .

Worst place ever don’t recommend there just money hungry. They get very upset if you purchase things from other places and not them they lie and say you need a different set up yet the sell that same set up you have. absolute rip offs dont come here

Stopped in on a whim. My wife has always loved green tree frogs so I thought I would surprise her. The young lady that served me was full of help and knowledge about the frogs as pets. She had a genuine attitude to help and importantly a genuine concern about the welfare of the frogs thank you for all your help. I recommend your store highly.

Totally reptiles has so much more than just an amazing selection of reptiles. They also have a great range of birds, fish, frogs and even scorpions. The staff were incredibly helpful and informative. Our visit allowed my son to achieve one of his life goals, which was to handle a snake. We are from New Zealand, so even seeing one in the flesh was a treat for him. I highly recommend checking out this most excellent place if you are in the neighbourhood.

Purchased a ‘ female coastal carpet python’ from here that was apparently het for albino and het for Axanthic, got told it would grow up to be the size of a normal coastal carpet python because I wanted big snakes, 3 years on it is obviously not a coastal carpet as it is Darwin carpet python size, and it dropped sperm plugs which means it is a male, good customer service at the time but not what I paid for at all.

I recently visited totally reptiles to purchase a bearded dragon and an enclosure as a gift for my sons birthday. Upon arrival we received a friendly warm welcome, The gentlemen in there were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, they went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and were extremely patient with my son while they helped him select a bearded dragon. Their customer service was impeccable and the prices were fantastic! They have so much love and passion for what they do and good energy radiates throughout their shop. The staff are really knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Before getting my baby Macleay turtle I spoke to various staff members on different occasions and they had a wealth of information to share. They gave me a comprehensive list of everything I needed and even provided me basic info sheets about cycling my new aquarium, talked me though the whole process I’d need to take before bringing home the turtle, and educated me on how long the cycling process actually takes rather than just telling me to run the filter for 24hrs and hope for the best. This is much more than I can say for other aquarium or reptile stores who only care about making the sale and don’t educate you about what is actually needed for your new pet to have a long and happy life. Even though I had done plenty of research myself it was great that everyone there wanted to help as much as possible and make sure I knew what I was getting into, and that they cared about the fate of the turtle when he left their store, A few times I’ve been given a small discount “just take it for this $ instead, don’t worry about it” or “this is 3 kilos but I’ve charged you for 2” which is a nice little bonus too. They have a really great selection of reptiles and even some invertebrates like scorpions that I also keep, plus a massive selection of snakes and lizards, & everything you need to care for them, plus fish too. Their fish selection is smaller than other dedicated aquariums but they have everything you need. Often we just visit them for a chat and to admire all the beautiful creatures. Plus, it’s extra fun that the building is literally a castle.. makes it seem so special. Thanks heaps to everyone here who helped me with my new turtle who is absolutely thriving!

Staff are incredibly friendly, and animals are so lively. Much cheaper live food than many other places. So much fun for a visit. Love to see the frogs, snakes, lizards, turtles and even birds. Definitely the best reptile place around.

What a great reptile shop! First time snake owner here and the staff were so knowledgeable in all things reptiles and all the important things to tell a first time snake owner. They had such an array of animals from scorpions, to turtles and so much more. The conditions of the animals were the best I have seen, so healthy and the enclosures were so clean! I bought everything I needed from Total Reptiles and feel comfortable enough to call them if I have any questions or concerns as the staff were patient and made me feel so comfortable answering all my novice questions. Our son’s 10 month old Beardie boarded at Totally Reptiles for just under 3 weeks over school holidays in Sep/Oct 2023. A very big Thankyou to all the staff for the care provided, especially Nikita who sent a photo to reassure my son that his Beardie was ok and doing well. Highly recommended.
