Great delicious handmade noodles. The of the signature beef noodle soup is so tasty and the noodles are so bouncy. The side dishes are so delicious too, we got the dry cold noodle with sesame paste and beef slices… it was soooo good. And the lamb skewers were very delicious too. Definitely coming back to try other dishes.

Very unique interior with a "tree" and "courtyard" within a shopping centre's restaurant. Food is tasty and serves very quickly on a Saturday 11.30am. No table service, self ordered via a machine. Dining table are very close, bump a few table getting in and out.

Update: Went there many times, the last two time the taste were not the same as before. And we get extremely thirsty after having the noddles! The noodles are still fresh and nice but, meen the feeling after that! Is horrible! Maybe to much msg! Dont know! Old review: One of the best Noodles in town! I had beef noodles soup for lunch. I didn’t expect the beef broth was so good. The noodles was perfectly cooked as well - al dente. The meat was generous as well and perfectly cooked. Definitely worth to try and will come back here again.

The beef noodle was really flavourful and rich. The portion size was average and they are generous with the beef slices. The fried bun with condensed milk was delicious. You can customise your meal according to your preference when ordering digitally through their screen.

1. Taste bland. The beef cuts are not tender at all. 2. Five of us ordered different selections with different noodle thickness between us. 3. However when they came, they are more or less the same thickness! Poor quality control or the chef just couldn't care less 4. Highlighted to the waiter and showed him my Thick noodle compared to another which is Thin noodle. They are the same thickness but he insisted mine is slightly thicker! 5. Overall, we really like Master Lanzhou! But, I just had a pretty disappointing experience for dinner tonight, so I’m here in hope of creating a solution, cos we intend on coming back. I ordered a dry noodle dish, and for the first time selected the thinner of flat noodle. Normally, I order thin, so perhaps that had some bearing on the situation. As usual, the food came out almost as soon as we had ordered: fast, fresh and hot. Love that! I spent about 2 mins helping to serve some food to my 18 month old son, and then I focused my attention to my own food - I was really looking forward to eating it. Sadly, the noodles were all stuck together and clumped in a big bundle. I tried mixing, in vain, and eventually asked the waitress if she could possibly bring me a fresh plate, because who wants to eat a noodle cake? She took the plate away, then a few minutes later another waitress came back and essentially told me that they weren’t going to replace my noodles, and that I should have mixed it right away. She gave me a side of soup to add moisture to the noodles. Okay, so, that felt really stingy, especially when I didn’t feel like it was actually my fault that the noodles had clumped. It seems pretty poor that failing to mix the noodles in under 2 mins of receiving them should result in sub-standard and significantly reduced eating experience. I have three suggestions for the management about how to address this problem in the future: 1. Rinse the noodles before serving in a dry noodle dish - this prevents them from sticking, and if you dunk them in boiling water again it will warm the noodles ready to eat. 2. Mix the noodles with the sauce before serving. 3. Simply communicate with the patron upon delivering to the table that the dry noodles need to be mixed right away. These are simple, low cost solutions that could prevent future disappointments. If you got to the end of this review, please still go to Master Lanzhou. 9/10 times it will be great. If, by chance, you get a disappointing meal, just don’t expect the staff to be generous in their customer service.

Master Lanzhou has a really friendly and comfortable environment to eat and just rest. The food is cheap, affordable and delicious. The staff are really friendly and food is ready in a few minutes. I reccomend their dry noodles and side dishes. Really good and 10/10 recommend.

Come here nearly once every week, food is always good standard especially signature noodles, lamb skewers and numb chips are good!

Explored the new eatery area at Westfield Doncaster. Decided to try Master Lanzhou Beef Noodles - seems like they’re ubiquitous around Melbourne these days! Slight queues for Sunday lunch but quick turnover in the restaurant. Tried their signature beef noodle soup and pork spare rib noodles (limited). You can choose the thickness and shape of your hand-pulled noodles. Broth for beef noodles was more flavourful than pork ribs for me. You can add additional chilli oil to boost the spiciness. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the spicy pig ears cold dish. It’s well marinated and has slight crunch and chewiness to it.

I have been coming to this restaurant for the past 2 years, and I have always walked out happily. The noodle texture is great and taste is just amazing. Highly recommend

really good food at a fair price. was very impressed by the quality of the noodles (handmade). food tasted fresh and the drinks were also great. will be coming back here again. there are some pretty big lines at peak times so keep that in mind.

This is my local noodle soup spot! Unbelievably flavourful soup bases, refreshing sides and awesome noodle options! Not really any veg options and not the greatest range of entrees however definitely hits the spot! When you’re in the area, come for a quick noodle soup meal 🍜🤤

The food was bad and very costly. The beef slices came covered with plastic wrap and was not fresh. Service was very bad as we had to stand up and take our own utensils such as chopsticks, bowls and tissues and there was very little service. Most items that we ordered were sold out. Terrible dining experience, will never come again.

Best noodle place in Doncaster Area. Clean, friendly staff, quick service too. Last but not least, the taste is authentic, best noodle paired with Australia beef. Visited this place countless time with family and friends.

Was in for a late lunch. A bit of wait as staff were not attentive. Nice decor. Good atmosphere. Authentic Chinese cuisine. Great spicy beef noodle soup. I love the soy pudding with beautiful fragrant lightly sweet flavour.

I like the fact that they offer various sizes of noodles here. The noodles ranges in various thickness and shapes. The chilli they added was spot on, not too spicy to overpower the other flavours. However, I recommend you go and select the chilli free option and then just add to the level you desire. The skewers were simply delicious!

Noodle soup is great as always but the customer service needs to be improved. Asked the waitress few questions, she doesn’t respond. I take away at least twice a week and this is the second time I encounter this.
