Terrible customer service at the front checkout. Staff having personal conversations amongst themselves while serving. No pleasantries. Staff at fabric counter however are, in general, lovely.

What is the point in having click and collect when you have to join the massive line to pick it up? So unhappy with that service I may as well have just come in and got it myself. I should be able to go straight to the counter and collect. Never again!

Generously stocked shop, spacious, and easy to navigate. Staff are helpful but certainly not "in your face" about trying to assist you. It's pleasant even just to browse and get inspired. I visited the Preston spotlight the day prior and found myself wishing I was here instead (it felt cramped and it was difficult to find what I was looking for). Spotlight South Morang is the place to be.

This place has so many variety of goods to offers,., from textile, crafts, and curtains. If you are passionate about making any sort of decorations, making clothes for fashion, bedding, and among other things in regard to your home needs. Like towels, apron pillows etc. Every years they have many new things in the store and if you are passionate of making your own deco, this place is for you. The place is very clean "passage where you walking in'" and the staff we're very patient, approachable and friendly. This place is a gem in my opinion. Highly recommended 👍

Spotlight has everything in one spot for the home decor great choices and brilliant fabrics and specials. The staff are very helpful and nothing is to hard for them, they know exactly what goes with what. Love the store !! I always come out with a project and the latest items.

Quick drop in for a table runner. It was raining but was able to park very close to the entry. Large selection to choose from and fast exit through the checkout. Very happy shopper!

Mary from the fabric section was the MOST AMAZING STAFF member ever! She was amazingly helpful, deserves a pay rise! Only let down is the shop is often under staffed, but the staff that are there are fantastic and always really helpful.

We live a fair distance away, and the item we were after was showing as low in stock when I checked online. Tried to get through to Manchester, however they were flat out. I had an employee named Karen on the phone who was fantastic, promised to call me back. Which she did, very promptly, with the item located and kept at the register for collection. Thank you, much appreciated.

Waiting exactly 25 minutes in the Manchester section for service, the lady was in the phone all that time repeating the same story to the other person on the line Customer Service is highly poor, The product wasn't available at the end, Upon my request to check the other stores and she wasn't happy to do so She called the other store, and she passed the phone to me to check if the product was available or not? After another 15 minutes of waiting time , I just hanged up and walked away , You need to have a day off to go to this store

Went in to purchase some curtains and rails, really did not know where to start. Came across a lovely employee Dianne who was keen to give me a hand. She was wonderful and helped me find all I needed. Great experience. Highly recommend.

Shameful.. I don't know the bloke serving me from a bar of soap so I can only presume he is racist ..terrible service terrible attitude facial expression told me he he wanted to punch on ..can't believe the arrogance. All that was after being served by a very helpful nice lady

Classic Spotlight store (the in/out inside is quite 'mucky' - one in through gates and the out is only through queuing at the front door cash register (even if you've paid elsewhere); typical parking available in the mega stores carparking (disabled + parents with prams); this is big even for a Spotlight & they have an awesome fabrics clearance section; the staff were met were friendly and helpful

They don't take afterpay in store , have to go online for that , the staff on the floor are super unfriendly and unhelpful, if you can't find it yourself too bad so sad they just don't care , and will give you attitude. 3 separate staff were rude to me and my fellow shopper, when we were super polite and used our manners ,so we stopped asking after 3 tries. However I did find most of what I went there for. They have a good range ,MUCH more expensive than what you can find online though for same products.

Love the wide range Spotlight have its literally a One Stop Shop... They have everything from art supplies to fabrics or bedding right through to curtains and blinds 👏 👏 👏

the store was very empty as if its going to close for stock take. most products were spread in isles. couldn't find what i was looking for. the staff on the floor was grumpy as if they were doing me a Favour in explaining the location of some item. it was still an hour for closing time.

The balloon arrangements are superb. They have bedsheet sets that are affordable and good quality. Highly recommend them for all fabrics, birthday parties, and costume ideas needs.

I would just like to thank the unhelpful smart mouthed pathetic customer service of the who seemed like "management " of this store for saving myself thousands of dollars while struggling to find the exact blinds we were looking for for our whole house on monday 20/2/23... Instead of helping because they could obviously see we needed help... They decided to wait till the last minute of closing time after hrs spent in the store and we were kicked out instead. Appreciate it...

Seems a bit pricey on some items. I bought bathroom matt half price and it still cost me 25 dollars Koo brand? Also Athe items weren't individually price. This was a little frustrating

Went to pick up my gender reveal balloon in which I called prior to going in to make sure it had already been filled as I didn’t want to ruin my own surprise, the lady I spoke to was rude and responded “well they’re making one now I assume it’s yours”. Went in 20 min later and they had left the evidence (pink confetti) all over the counter in the balloon section. Popped it later that afternoon and well yeah it’s a girl

Had what I wanted. Price reduction was not coming up at register so the cashier came with me to check the price. She changed price manually with no problems. Lovely sheets that I purchased.

Good store. I was surprised at the variety of items for sale. Haven't been in a spotlight store for about 4 years and expected the usual fabrics, threads, Fiona's, curtains etc but they have everything. Cookware, lollies, utensils and many more. Spotlight has changed or this store is special. I was also after some blank DVD and when I saw all the other stuff I asked but that is one thing they don't have. They did tell me where to get it though. Helpful staff, although they are very busy. Almost a KMart without clothes.

Went to buy some cushions and found that there was 30% discount on all cushions. After making the purchase realised that I had been charged the full price. The staff looked at the transaction and said that it had scanned the discount price. On checking I went back to ask about the discrepancy only to be told that discount was for VIP members only. No where on the promotion did it mention that this discount was only for VIP members. What a rip off. Shame on you spotlight for discriminating.

I don’t know who it was but that senior looking lady refused to accept my return of items because I did not had my receipt. Eventually once I said I am member she reluctantly agreed to make an exception and made sure to mention it should not happen again because it’s not their policy. The unpleasant thing about this experience was was the attitude of staff..felt like I have committed a sin. Never before I had trouble returning stuff; customer service has always offered to help look up with card or transaction receipt but not this time. Some big retailers allow return with no questions asked at all and can send receipt as text to mobile for convenience. Not sure if what I was told is Spotlight Wide policy, just laziness or something else but then it only shows how much catchup Spotlight need to do in terms of upgrade of their counter and staff trainings. They seem to be stuck in 90s. Not good enough!!!!

Had a very positive experience with team member Nick and a young very pretty girl who assisted me to find a fitted sheet. Both went out of their way to explain, check prices and be friendly.

Thanks to the ladies who helped me out. I needed new bed sheets and a mattress protector. All your staff are friendly and very helpful.

Very rude sale person on the floor and doesn’t even explain things politely and it’s Covid now, touching the customer while talking. Zero manners and all staff have attitude problem except the counter lady.

Lots of products available.. Please check the price in amazon or ebay... Some time you will get the better price from online.. The quality & product may changed.

Had superb service from Debbie at the South Morang shop. Needed help with measuring, advice on respective fabrics and Debbie went above and beyond to assist us. A pleasant, friendly and rewarding experience, got just what we needed!

Easy parking out front, big store, well stocked, always has great sales.

Spotlight has most of what you would need. From party goods, to fake plants and what they're really known for: textile. Material for clothing, shades, and table coverings. Unfortunately you may be waiting over 5 minutes to be served. I avoid going to spotlight for this reason. Otherwise it is fine.

One of the biggest Spotlight stores and vast varieties of items from craft to curtains to Mancester. Parking spaces seems mostly full though. Staff are nice. The craft stuff seems endless but the particular item I was looking for seems out of stock but was promised it will be restocked soon.

Yesterday my daughter and I needed help with the acrylic collection and the lovely lady with the beautiful pink and rainbow hair sorry we couldn’t get her name was very very helpful and kind 👍🏻thank you

There's something special about entering a Spotlight store... It might be the friendly staff or the deadend sound as you walk past rows of fabric. It could even be the desperate faces of parents being screamed at by frantic children who have waited until the last possible second to tell their parents that they need to do a project made from clay and there's no clay left.... Magic!
