We relocated from Singapore to Melbourne and our international moving company had outsourced the final tasks in Australia to Star Moving - we had an absolutely terrible experience. The delivery was late - and the two men crew (!) arrived at 5.45 pm with 71 boxes to unload. Half of the boxes were fallen all over the place when they opened the truck. When asked why this had happened the team just answered that these were only the light boxes and it didn't matter. That showed that there was now care for our goods. The team was extremely rude and unprofessional and even complained when we told them that not all our boxes were going to be stored in the garage and needed carrying upstairs (we paid for a full door to door service and generally would have had full unpacking service included). Some of the boxes were damaged and some of our furniture was dented. There was no care taken by the crew and my husband ended up being the person carrying everything that needed up to the 2nd floor. The crew even wanted to leave without finishing the assembly of our master bed, as it was too complicated! We sent the crew home a about 8.30 pm, as we had enough. Not even all boxes were brought up as needed or unpacked. Without my husband's help to carry most of the boxes the crew would have had to be here for another 2 hours probably! I had to follow up the company to pick up debris from unpacking we had to do ourselves for days. I did lodge a complaint and only got excuses back. Absolutely appalling service - DO NOT USE!!

Worst experience. Extremely worst service. I paid full amount for the courier services to India. I packed very nicely and took pictures before handover for the courier services. It’s arrived to my home at terrible condition. 3 boxes are opened with knifes and tear of from so many sides. Too much stuff is missing. I sent new items but it was bad smells inside the leftover stuff like dead 🐀. I sent email to sales person and asked about missing stuff and terrible condition for 3 boxes and he replied we can’t do anything but will give you 50 dollar discount on your next order. Not worth it. Wasted a lot of money.

I contacted Star Moving last year when i was relocating from Australia to India with two shipping consignments to move my home. I had earlier contacted many shipping companies who had no clue on how shipping happened. Thanks to Star Moving on assisting me in every step. Mr. Jatin from Star Moving is a high caliber professional, he was always in contact and ensured my shipping process is smooth during a pandemic situation. I highly recommend Star Moving if someone is shipping between Australia and India (Vice-Versa as well). No damages to my packages at all.

These guys are absolute jokes when it comes to removal and relocation services. In short, hire anyone else but these unprofessional people. This was our experience: We were relocating from Singapore to Melbourne and used Forbes as our agents. They in turn subcontracted Star. Lesson here is, find out who these subcontractors are before signing up with the agent(s). Forbes did a fantastic job with the packing and moving out. They went to a load of trouble to wrap everything so nothing would get damaged in transit. They were also very responsive with updates and communications. Then when our container was cleared, it was Star Moving that was supposed to load, deliver move and unpack for us. A date and time window was fixed (10am-12pm), but on the day, they called at approx 11:30am to let us know they were running late! They arrived at around 1pm, then proceeded to unload our 108 boxes. 35 boxes in, they called a 30min lunch break! All the while 1 guy was on the phone chatting away while passing some boxes off the truck for the other guy to bring into the house. And every 5-10min, they'd take a little break. Worst of all when they dumped our stuff off the truck onto the ground it picked up a load of gravel, as well as on the bottom of their shoes. Then they proceeded to walk into our house with floorboards and start dragging the boxes with stones underneath it around, consequently scratching or floorboard throughout the house. Finally, as all boxes had been offloaded from the truck, they hurried to leave as it was around 5:30pm already. They did not help open the boxes, unpack and remove all of the cardboard boxes and packing left behind. We lodged a complained but all their administration did was maje excuses for their shortfall in service and unprofessionalism. Their lack of care was alarming and something you should reconsider if these guys are on your list of movers. If they are cheap, then it's because they are nasty.

Terrible removalist! The worst one that we have ever experienced. very lazy, slow and unprofessional. Never ever use it again! The most frequent response was that they would say "oh, we are not allowed to do it". (e.g. Can you move a desk to upstairs? "On no, we are not allowed to do it as it’s oversized? Guess what, my husband and his friend just moved it the next day without any difficulties Dah?). Very little effort was made. They dumped the boxes to a new place slowly (Not carefully) and randomly, as they frequently disappeared. We now have cracked furniture. Terrible! Terrible service.

I had a really great experience using Star Moving to move from a house to an apartment. The team (Bobby & Mani) were very punctual, efficient and delicate with the loading and unloading of my items (one of which was a full length mirror). All item's had to be moved through the carpark of my building then up the lift to my place and everything came up with no damages at all. I would highly recommend using Star Moving!!

Didn't realize that I could give feedback for this here. Extremely bad experience. Unprofessional for sure, carelessness. The least I can say is "worst bedside manners". Lost my TV. Broken stuff. Scratched monitor. Their staff who delivers stuff: So rude man. I have never met anyone that harsh and foul mouth in Australia. One of my friends in Sydney also regretted their services. Choose only if you have no other option.

Save yourself the headaches and stay away! Dishonest company and senior staff, they overpromise and lie through their teeth, they'll make every excuse under the sun to avoid doing the job properly and honestly. They send a 2 people from another company, to unpack something in 4 hours that was packed by 6+ people in 8 hours. Their staff, have no idea of the names of the team or people doing the deliveries, they say they'll let you know a day before but never do. Extremely disorganized and careless. They don't care about people's bad experiences with their company and The owner expressed how much he doesn't care about customer reviews and quick to dismiss honest feedback.

Star Moving Melbourne are a fantastic company. I am a single older lady and nothing was too much for Bobby and Mani. They took the utmost care of my furniture. I would definitely recommend them.

Bobby and Tamish delivered my shipment from Hong Kong to my door in Clayton, although they came an hour later than expected time but can be understand. They unloaded the goods one by one and we need to tick off from the item list, since we are not the first order a delay is understandable. Both guys are very nice and helpful!!
