Had a family wedding here last weekend. Everything was excellent. The rooms are spotless, very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The food at the wedding was exceptional and the service and management of the function was perfectly handled by the friendly and professional team at the Mill Park.

We spent 3 nights here in July and our stay here was excellent. Service from the staff was billiant especially considering there was a water outage during our stay but they coped admirally under difficult circumstances. Rooms were fabulous and breakfasts lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant on one night and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Many thanks to all who made our stay most enjoyable. We will return.

Overall the hotel is good, the showers lack pressure and the water is not hot enough. I was more upset regarding the pool hrs, 9am to 5pm, not acceptable. We choose this hotel for the use of the pool, a swim before breakfast and after dinner, not possibly. If we had been aware of the poo situation wr would most certainly have stayed somewhere else. Breakfast wss good and the restaurant was outstanding.

Just had the most relaxing weekend at the beautiful Mill Park Hotel in Donegal Town 😊 We booked a Junior Suite as it was a belated Birthday Break for my partner. The room was extremely spacious, elegantly decorated, warm and cosy and spotlessly clean. Our bed was HUGE and so comfortable, we both had the best nights sleep 😴 There were also two large super soft armchairs in the room, with a coffee table, a big flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge with complimentary water. The bathroom in the suite was absolutely amazing 😍 A huge standalone bathtub and a fantastic rain shower with excellent water pressure. We had dinner in Chapter Twenty the Hotel's restaurant, they have an excellent varied menu and the food was really delicious. The staff organised a special Birthday dessert complete with a firecracker to celebrate my partner's big day, for which I was truly grateful. We had breakfast in the hotel both mornings and it was divine. So many options and everything freshly cooked and piping hot 😋 Mill Park Hotel is a really beautiful and elegant hotel, with gorgeous well maintained gardens. It is situated just outside the town of Donegal but only a ten minute walk to the center. From start to finish we were extremely impressed with the exceptional customer service that we received from each staff member we met 🌟 In every single department they were incredibly friendly, warm and helpful. They also went truly above and beyond to make sure that my partners' birthday was really special and that meant the world to me. Thank you all so much for everything ❤️

Our second stay here and disappointed this time . Breakfast very bad, empty, little choice. The fruit salad looked like it was made from old fruit. Very unpleasant service in the restaurant. Very soft mattresses in the room. we could not sleep, in addition, the refrigerator was making loud noises. The only plus is the pool. We won't be back anymore

I've stayed at the Mill Park several times, unfortunately always for business and not pleasure. The rooms are always well presented and most importantly clean. Chapter Twenty is the restaurant attached to the hotel and I cannot fault it, the menu choices are sufficient the service is very good efficient and the food is always good. There is a separate bar with enough seating to without feeling crowded. Breakfast can be very busy as this hotel accommodates coach parties of tourists, however Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes to get a table and my food from the buffet. Donegal town is a short 10 to 15 minute walk away.

Less than a mile to downtown Westport, overlooking a lake. Serene and breezy. The food is priced fairly, but the quality is as excellent as any top notch restaurant. Mattresses give restful sleep. I loved it.

Great location for exploring Donegal and the region. Staff are super nice and friendly. Lovely atmosphere about the place everything is as you'd expect. Chapter 20 is fine food at its best.

Smooth check. Nice and if room and also well decorated. I had a patio door which was okay but another layer of security to think about. The parking was a bit odd since my room was around back. Very quiet which is a plus. Breakfast in the morning was good, true buffet style.

I contacted the Mill Park Hotel a few months ago to arrange a surprise birthday party for my mums 60th and they went above and beyond from the first point of contact. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and it was a fantastic experience. 18 of us were at dinner and 12 of us stayed in the hotel and all 7 of our rooms were top notch - the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The food in the restaurant was good, the staff were so attentive and even went out of their way to set up a comfortable area in the bar in front of the fire when we were finished dinner but not finished catching up. We really couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our family celebrations. Thank you so much to the Mill Park Hotel - you made everything so relaxing and fantastic and it is a night that we will always remember. We will be back for the next big celebrations!

This hotel is popular with families, and yet still needs to implement quiet hours. We had to call and complain about the noise of kids running up and down the hall around midnight. Our other complaint is that the wifi was a connection in name only. It was incredibly slow, so we couldn't stream or have a video call. Very frustrating. Very nice and comfortable rooms, good food, nice staff, great location.

We went for a nice meal and the service was excellent. It's quite rare to see more mature staff in hospitality these days, a good sign! We'll definitely be back!

Nice rooms, restaurant, and pool. Sadly, there is no air conditioning so it does get quite warm in the rooms. The food is satisfactory, but not mind blowing.

Great hotel. Convenient for our tour. If on the 3rd floor and it is warm, be sure to check for a fan in your wardrobe.

Absolutely loved this Hotel! Onsite parking which is ideal. Great location as it's only a 5-10 minute walk in to the Town Centre. The bedroom was fabulous, it was huge! Lovely modern and spacious, lots of light which is rare in a Hotel these days. Great bathroom with an amazing shower! Friendly check in and check out. One of the best breakfasts we'd had on our trip. It seemed to be more home cooked and tasty rather than mass produced and undercooked bacon like a lot of Hotel breakfast are. Can't speak any more highly of it. The staff were friendly, we had a drink in the bar when we got back from town and the guy behind the bar was super friendly and interesting. He introduced us to some new local drinks as well which was a lovely touch. We didn't actually use the spa which was a shame as you had to wear a swimming cap (which we didn't have and the Hotel wanted to charge for). We were unaware of the new ruling in Ireland that this is now compulsory for swimming pools so no fault of the Hotel. 100% would recommend and would return if we got the chance

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel very much. The lobby, premises and the room looked very clean. The room itself was quite large with all the amenities that you expect at such a class of hotels. There are plenty of parking spaces around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options to choose from. The staff that I interacted with was very friendly and attentive.

Attended a wedding at the hotel and stayed overnight. The staff were all wonderfully helpful, friendly and went above and beyond and the rooms are amazing. I think that’s the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on! Can’t recommend the hotel enough! I hope I can get back for a visit soon!

The staff were exceptional and so professional. We attended a family wedding and the food ambiance and atmosphere were amazing. Even the handling of the organisation of food choices and every attention to detail. Beautiful breakfast and comfortable beds. Exceptional exceptional staff.

Food poisoning at Mill Park hotel restaurant (Chapter Twenty) Donegal We stayed at the Mill Park Hotel Donegal from the 1st to the 4th of November 2022 for a short family break. First night we had a meal at the restaurant (chapter twenty) and within 20 minutes had instant and violent food poisoning from their Louisiana burger. The food poisoning lasted all night to the point that I was concerned that an ambulance may be called. We informed the staff the very next day, but it wasn’t until we checked out that the Manager was finally called to our attention, we explained the situation to her and her immediate reaction was accusatory and denied anything had happened and that in fact we were mistaken, and it was nothing more than a stomach bug and not food poisoning. I’m a 43-year-old man with a young family so I know the difference between a bug and sever violent food poisoning. The attitude from the manager was an instant dismissive defence position, our overall bill was £800, and we were only asking to have the £15 for the burger removed but to have our integrity questioned at the hotel reception in front of other customers our child and hotel staff was completely humiliating unnecessary and how NOT to a handle a food poisoning complaint. The correct approach would be to believe the customer, undertaken an investigation as not to poison other customers from the kitchen and apologies for the incident. At the very least an apology would have been welcomed, instead the manager made accusations as to make out we were trying to dodge the bill. In the end they begrudgingly deducted the £15 after we outright refused to pay. In short, terrible customer service, manager needs re-training and the food caused severe food poisoning. Take from this review what you want.

This hotel in one word simply fantastic. It is a very convent position both to visit Donegal and to touring around the country ty without getting out from the city. The hotel is very clean and well maintained in every aspect. It is pleasant even just to live and see it. Everything is well-finished in every detail and also the common areas are worth to be lived. Bar and restaurant are pleasant. And staff, from reception to bar and restaurant are absolutely kind. It has a broad and well kept parking area. The room I used as a single occupant was really huge and everything in it was really well maintained. I think it was a huge room even for 3 people sharing. And the the ensuite bathroom had both a bath tub ad a shower which i appreciate (especially the last one) :-) If I had to make a criticism i could find just one: air conditioning was lacking and at the time of the year I went i sweated a bit overnight. But this is a relatively minor issue as I found a fan in the wardrobe that helped a bit. Even if I haven't used all the facilities the hotel offered I spotted them and they seemed very pleasant to be taken advantage of. In conclusion: an hotel to go back to again and again and again! Very much suggested!!
