It was a brilliant experience to shop in McEhinneys. The Staff were more than helpful. They were not pushy. Great knowledge of the different styles that would suit the shopper. I give this shop a 10 out of 10.

'Saying Yes to the Dress'......our daughter booked a wedding dress slot only expecting to see which style suited her body....but after a handful of dresses....she said 'Yes to the Dress'. The experience was amazing, a small booking fee for the appointment....on arrival, immediately you are met by your personal assistant who greets you by name and welcomes the Bride to be. Your suite is solely yours and the Brides name is on the door on a sweetly decorated slate. She offers you some bubbley 🥂 and gives you 100% of her time, wealth of experience and knowledge. She was honest with her advice and very patient. We weren't rushed in any form whatsoever....it was just an overwhelming experience. We would recommend every Bride to take the time to visit this Bridal Department, but remember to book your slot in advance. Enjoy your experience and Happy Wedding Day in that special dress 😊

Bought the most beautiful dress from here. It was just perfect. The girls really do an incredible job of making sure the whole experience is so special from your first appointment to the day you pick of your dress at the final dress fitting. Would highly recommend x

The most friendly helpful staff from the minute you walk in the door until you leave. I'm a disabled person who needs assistance with my walking and I was treated like a queen with kindness and helpfulness to make my visit so memorable. And I never leave the shop unless I've lots of shopping bags and that's including handbags. There's a lady Sandra who does 5@5 every day by video on Facebook with items that you can purchase online as well as purchasing in the shop what a total GEM she knows her stuff a real asset to McElhinneys. Can't wait to get back down again for our day out.

So nice to visit a department store, they are in short supply these days. We had a cuppa in the cafe and then browsed the different departments. Plenty to see and lots of reasons to return.

I am a scone snob and I have to say these are some of the best scones I’ve ever had! They are made fresh daily on the premises and are usually available by 9:40am. Definitely worth trying either to grab & go or sitting down and enjoying with one of their lattes!

Everyone very friendly,they couldn't do enough for us. Every one greeted us through all departments. Loved the coffee and fresh scones. Well stocked clean floors,easy to navigate.

I have just called to McElhinneys and the helpfulness of the staff was second to none. Andrea in the occasion wear section was very helpful, giving suggestions and gave her honest feedback which was greatly appreciated. Fiona in the ladies lingerie section was also very helpful and ensured that everything suited the cut of the dress, she even let me try it all on to make sure it was perfect before I left. Compliments to the lady in the shoe dept who let me try different shades of the shoe section to match my dress. Overall, a pleasant shopping experience where the staff were helpful, yet not forceful in their approach to their customers. I would highly recommend.

Just did my first online order. Excellent website, huge amount of products yet it was easy to navigate & always returned to the last product without losing info. I got the ‘Welcome10’ discount code but omitted but include it. Emailed the shop & they immediately rectified same & refunded me the difference, almost before they debited me for my purchase! Delivery was within 24 hrs & everything was perfect. This is a company who are serious about customer service & they have obviously invested astutely in good technology to make online shopping easy. Had to phone today with a query & the phone was answered immediately… by a real person… and I was transferred to Customer Service & dealt immediately by… a real person. I had the pleasure of visiting McElhinney's last week to shop with my niece for her wedding dress. We were a party of 6, and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Very expensive place, wouldn't buy anything out of it, staff all two faced with painted on smiles and dressed like heavily maked up tarts, never have any new stock in and clothes have stains and imperfections through being in shop floor long time, any new stuff that comes in gets bought and the sizes that no one wants stays there more months until they put sale price on it, there sale night was a con before Christmas, my fiancée was promised discount on the bed clothes she payed up on that night and ended up paying more on it. Better going into the better shops in letterkenny, it will be a better shopping experience.

Had a lovely leisurely browse around today and every department we went into the staff were welcoming and helpful. Bought a lovely gift in homewares....I'm ashamed to say I didn't catch the colleagues name... she served me with great professionalism. Always love heading into McElhinneys Department Store a great place for superb customer service.

Bought boots on black Friday evening and they were delivered on Monday. Excellent service and speedy delivery.

First shop I've ever been in where the men's department far exceeds the woman's! So many brands to choose from, friendly and enquisative staff. Was staying at a nearby hotel which also enabled a 10% discount which the staff kindly advised otherwise I'd have been non the wiser.

I wanted to order Lancome Nutrix 125 ml for my wife. The price indicated was 230NIS. I started the ordering process and got the next information, quote: 'Congratulations! You Get Free Shipping'. I continued the ordering process. I confirmed the payment to PayPal and then I was directed to seller's website, where I was asked, quote: 'Continue to payment'. But now I noticed that they added an additional sum of 109NIS for shipping! Consequently, I did not complete the ordering process. PayPal charged my account temporary promising to cancel the payment if the transaction will not be completed. Now I am waiting for PayPal cancellation.

This is a fabulous store, especially If you are looking for something special for a wedding etc. I use to go here as a teenager with my Mum before it moved to it's present location. It was more a shop for all then. It is now more upmarket shop and that is not me I do go and look around every so often and then have tea and lemon pie for old times sake. FGF 5/5
