Unfriendly, anti-child owner who sent a pregnant lady and her 2-year old daughter away when we wanted to have a cappuccino and sit down. Pink woman said we are only allowed to have the cappuccino at the high stool tables which is not possible with a 2-year old, she didn't offer to take a seat at the normal tables at a higher price, she just came yelling at us. Never experienced such a hostile attitude from a restaurant or whatever owner. Not recommended for normal people.

Slow service even in low season. The classic appetiser plate doesn’t have much to offer and definitely not classic (see pic)!

Very nice little restaurant/bar. We sat outside and orderd coffee. Bit more expensive due to the location. Wine lover's will have a blast here. Worth the visit.

Bolgheri is a tiny village inside the Della Gherardesca castle, well known for the long historical cypresses street that brings you there from the Main Street. In Italy this cypresses are known for the Carducci’s poem. This shop is on the square. There you can have a good glass of Bolgheri wine with some tasty appetizers. Not so cheap but unfortunately Bolgheri wine is very expensive... and really good at taste! Really really nice

Generally nice but a bit Overpriced. Staff friendly yet not very attentive. It’s good that they sell local beer from Bolgheri, but they sell it lukewarm. The beer was served chilled upon request. Tuscan Aperitifo was good and authentic. Great wine selection!

Really nice teeny-tiny spot with homemade bread and paninis and local spirits (cedrara, chinotto etc.) You can also buy there some food souvenires from your Italian trip.

The staff was unfriendly, the soup was dry with an excessive amount of bread in it, the schiaccia pecorino contained only large, clumsy cheese pieces, and there were no additional toppings.
